@@fernandozavaletabustos205 Yup. And it's because Eiyuden Chronicles got a shit load of funding and made Konami realize how wanted these old IPs of theirs are.
This entire series is so beloved in my household. My parents are actually replaying Suikoden II at the moment on their PS3. Personally, my favorite part of the game is how many characters you have access to. And with six party members, you can make any kind of party you feel like. Sure, there was a lot of character forcing in the first, but that was remedied a lot by the second.
The Suikoden series is my favorite JRPG series, so I'm always happy to find fellow fans. I think I remember the reason why my brother and I actually got the first Suikoden game back in the day was because our mom recognized the title Water Margin Story on the front cover as referencing and being part of one of the four great classical novels of Chinese literature. While it's written in Japanese below the American title logo they share some similar or the same characters with Chinese so our mom was able to read it. Since she loves Chinese stories, she got it for us, so I guess I have to partially credit her for my love of the Suikoden games since I was a child.

I just loaded 1&2 onto my PS classic a few days ago.
Erick, because you have made so many good recommendations to me, and since you mentioned a film in my list of “best Kung Fu movies ever”, I’ve honed my list down to only the best of the best. I’ve watched and rated hundreds of these things, and they range from amazing to completely horrible. So to save you the time on watching any bad ones, these are the ones I can personally vouch for as being totally awesome and worth your time as a fellow fan of good storytelling in action plots. Enjoy!

@@Crystalwizardtrue Thank you... they have improved now... When things took a downhill turn I put myself to work writing and self-publishing... Now I am earning a great income from selling books online.
@@DocFear what are the books about? Im a bookworm myself
I use the storyline and music for Dungeons & Dragons for my players that never played this game 🎲
I also made Breath of Fire 3 and Final Fantasy Tactics as D&D campaigns as I know them by heart ❤
I see that Odessa thumbnail. I like.
Those cover art made breath of fire 2 cover art look good
I’ve only played 1 and 2 but I’m really looking forward to EC and currently looking for a way to play 3, 4, and 5
You can download 3 and 4 from the PlayStation store. Still waiting for 5 though

I love suikoden
Never knew about the PC version. Interesting!
Yes.. too bad it's only JP
Wonder if anyone noticed how much Fire Emblem Three Houses has taken from Suikoden series, much less Fire Emblems period
Please do a review of Thousand Arms.
Damn I feel like crying hearing someone praise the first Suikoden so much. It's one of my favorite games ever and still under rated. It's cool to know it had a influence on game developers and all the extra info was great! Suikoden is one of the greatest rpg's ever in every aspect.
I wish there was a new game with the same style graphics and gameplay. The game feels very magical and real
They re gonna make "suikoden look alike" on ps 5, the devs are old suikoden devs
@@vateok6840 thank you I saw this today! it looks great, I felt so emotional
@@throwedgaming6419 ur wc bro, today's rpgs suck ass except for a few like persona n trail of cold steel, they are all about hack n slash, lets hope the new suikoden can help us to feel nostalgia again, we are getting old 🤣
