I was worried that was going to be plaguing the entire line. Surprised no one has given double dealer Astro trains foot lifts that seems so awkward on that figure but would be fitting on this one
@@HamManReviews Is it possible to avoid that leg part and just leave the legs as if they were in truck mode? Yeah, the Vulture mode's body'd be longer, but it'd be worth it to avoid it.
Or they could re-use the Doubledealer mold to give us an updated version of Stalker (and they wouldn't have to alter the bird mode too much). Then Hasbro could use reuse the Commander Jetfire mold for Skyquake.
Another great review! I really like your videos! They’re not only a lot of fun but pretty informative too. I have this figured preordered because I found a good deal on him but I’ve been kind of luke warm on him. This video made me a little excited for him. Also, my best friend had that ninja turtle play set when were kids! Great to see it again

Yeah, I gonna get this Cybertronian Mercenary. Doubledealer's packing is impressive. His robot mode looks cool and his paint job is great. His weapons accessories is many and great. His bird mode is a brick, but and awesome flying brick. His missile tank mode is a awesome brick on wheel that can blow anything up within it range. His faction insignia flip over the shoulder gimmick is cool and an interesting call back to the bracket change from Godmasterforce that you pointed out. Doubledealer is great, but is awesome with his Powermaster buddies Knok and Shar. Speaking of, the engine block piece is a cool reference to his Powermaster history.
Finally found a Doubledealer in the shops today. I have copied an idea I saw online, and attached some leftover combiner hand/foot accessories to the bottom of Doubledealer's feet. It helps to give him some extra height, and makes his legs better proportioned with the rest of his body.
After watching many a Anthonyscustoms videos I am pretty sure thighs are supposed to be longer than your shins. So honestly the stocky proportions don't bother me and I am just hyped to get my hand on this sweet figure. Awesome review btw :D

DAMN BOI HE THICC The only review worth waiting for, and i am very excited for this big bird missile tonka chunk - even with the iffy bits as you point out, there's just something about the way it's carried that makes one forget and fall in love anyway Back in the rumour stages of earthrise, before any solid info on names, i held on to the notion for time that a Doubledealer could/should happen. There was talk of a truck like leader, a Mercenary faction was coming into play, and prior to all that selects belly dropped Cybertron Hot shot and Siege did a Cybertron Prime homage without skipping a single beat of OUR WORLDS ARE IN DANGER - Which meant of course, if Hot shot was to be blessed get his bro's, there's going to be a need for a missile truck or something that could have a missile slapped on to it to work in favour. And here we are! Anyway, yeah. flaws aside i really love the look of DD and what he has to offer, especially that daft as hell bird mode - you've done a service with this one, top notch playtime P.S. There has been a Selects Leader class release! Galactic Man Shockwave, so the price point is not off limits P.P.S I'm feeling the Siege Impactor mold for a vangaurd Scattorshot, give him two missile chunk plug ins for each arm, a new noggin, donzo

DNA Design, help Doubledealer out with his legs lol I just got mine today and I agree, he feels weird in hand but posing him around he looks good. I currently have him set with my decepticons, because he looks better them in my opinion. All in all, nice review!
This figure looks like a real fun time in spite of the glaring flaws, kinda reminds me (somewhat) of Cliffjumper from this same line for that reason. Not having much of a connection to the character, I'm super down for what's going on with his heavy duty looking robot and vehicle modes, and the eagle mode is just that perfect goofy-yet-still-awesome cherry on top.
Actually, his legs have human proportions. Check Davinci's Vitruvian man. You might feel DoubleDealer's proportions are off because the majority of Transformers have lower legs which are proportionally longer than human proportions. I guess you could say the human equivalent is a human lower leg + the height of some hefty army boots soles.
We got the pulse shackwave and we got the vanguard hot shot so we could get a reapanted red alert

I like the idea he's a cold blooded mercenary who'll switch allegiance the second one side pays more than the other. Zero loyalty.

Double dealer has awkwardly placed ports on his feet so a lot of pieces looked weird :/

There is a lot to love. I forgive him for his flaws but I am gettin a lil annoyed with Hasbro cutting corners knowing we’ll buy em anyways.

I like the idea of a neutral faction, and he seems interesting, but he doesn't check all my necessary boxes.

If not cybertron red alert, then Botcon 2006 Megatron (Beast Wars pre-beast mode) but remold the bird parts into Dragon parts and there you go.
