As a physics graduate I can say that this is exactly how physics works. The most physical of games.
I was watching Kevin's starjew Valley play through and then this and my god he's changed so much. He's so mucg more confident now, although that series is sooo relaxing.
Also, speaking of goofy physics games; I suggest that you look up an old game called Sumotori Dreams (if you haven't heard of that already, it's 12 years old). I remember laughing so hard my sides hurt when I played that game with friends back in high school.
