Widow of Microsoft Exec Jared Bridegan Reacts to Ex-Wife's Arrest

- Kristen Bridegan, widow of murdered father of 4 Jared Bridegan speaks to #CourtTV. Bridegan was gunned down Feb. 16, 2022, in front of his 2-year-old daughter after stepping from his car to move a tire left lying in the road in Jacksonville Beach, Florida.
Bridegan’s ex-wife, Shanna Gardner-Fernandez, has been indicted in the murder of her ex-husband. Gardner-Fernandez was arrested at her current home in Washington State and is expected to be extradited back to Florida. Prosecutors, who plan to seek the death penalty, are also expected to charge Gardner-Fernandez with conspiracy, solicitation and child abuse.

I’ll never understand why you kill instead of just biting the bullet, it’s over move on, share the children as best you can, I don’t have much of a relationship with my children, but I paid my child support and kept them on my insurance until they were of age, the nasty things said about me destroyed my relationship with my kids, but I’m a free man because I didn’t let anger dictate my actions.

to a good friend of mine. He took care of his kids & the ex-wife tainted their relationship with them. When they got older in their 20's they reached out 2 him and reconciled.

Sorry, this was one where the commenters have done zero research on the case. Nobody seems to understand the motive…🙄. Shanna was always mad that they split 50/50 custody. She couldn’t move with the kids, which is not known if she wanted to, but it’s speculated that she did want to leave Florida. Even if she didn’t, she hated sharing 50/50. They’d also spent more years in court than they had been married for. Many people have noted that the number of filings in their civil matters was far above a normal average. Shanna had limitless funds and kept filing motions which would have been a financial strain on Jared. One has to wonder if she was trying to get him to just give her more custody to make the constant money bleed of court and lawyers stop, but he never gave in and gave her what she wanted.

Even though she cheated on him, she filed for divorce and she emotionally abused him. The fact that he was happy, moved on and doing well, and not giving her, her own way with relation to their kids would have made her crazy. I’m sure considering she is so wealthy, she 100% thought she could kill him solve all her problems and get away with it, she will never feel one ounce of remorse unless she gets convicted, then and only then will it hit her it probably wasn’t a good idea, because that’s how narcissists role. @@virtuserable I realize being a narcissist definitely doesn’t always get you to murder, but I do think that people that haven’t had a lot of interaction with narcissists wouldn’t understand why Shanna would murder Jarod, because it makes no logical sense, to put so much on the line basically put her own life on the line to murder him, you need to understand that she thought she could get away with no consequences as she always has, she may have miscalculated this time. I agree family courts need serious reform, but most of these institutions are so corrupt, that good people have to walk away and that means only the people with bad intentions end up sticking around and it shows by how evil some of these systems have become.

The sad part is that the victim's wife probably will not be getting custody because the biological mother probably gets to decide where her children go to live with.The twin's mother isn't going to let her children go see the dead ex- spouse's family members,especially his widow. The part bad is the victim's family's members might have to wait until the twins are older to decide they want a relationship with their siblings and their father's family members. hopefully, there is no animosity on grandparents 'side towards the victim's family members.
