#RoboCop
As soon as Lewis declined body armor, I knew it would end badly.
Murphy's reaction to Lewis's death speaks volumes about his humanity.
It looked like he BADLY wanted to kill her killer.....poor Murphy
The body armor wouldn’t have helped with rounds like those.
@@AK-de7jnAlso they were in a no win situation and out numbered and yeah RoboCop can't go against OCP, they needed back up.
@@Mrd9960 but after that, Robocop is reprogramed and the object 4 is removed
Murphys reaction and flashbacks later on showed that his human side was truly in love with Ann as more then just a partner.
I always loved this scene, Robocop looking at the civilians and looking at OCP back and fourth. And the objectives "Protect the Innocent". Then he says Backoff or there will be trouble, so Badass.
democrat police can learn from this "Protect the Innocent"" instead of going woke and kneeling for blm ect
The part where Robocop goes through his directives is one of my favorites. You can just tell he's evaluating what he really stands for and where his loyalties should lie, clearly seeing the OCP officer is talking bullshit. What makes it even better is that when he tells them to back off Lewis doesn't even hesitate to follow his lead.
I agree
Lewis “ get them for me , promise me””
Robocop “ officer down”
Me crying rivers
I Promise....officier down
When Lewis turned down her armor who'd have thought it would make quite a foreshadow. Should have seen that coming the first time I watched this movie when I was young. 🥺
to be honest even with the armor that would of not done much against the rounds in that rifle
@@SirJamesIGamerfuzion at that distance it would have still helped to preserve vital organs.
I never take my body armor off until I get inside my home. Even if I’m off-duty, it stays on till I get home. Lewis should’ve kept her armor on.
She shouldn't have turned down that armor, even if she was off- duty.
She would of been wounded not killed the armour would of slowed it down
This was easily the best scene in this movie
I never take my body armor off till I’m inside my house. So long as I’m outside, in my uniform, my armor stays on. Lewis should’ve kept her armor on.
4:52 love the symbolism of this scene... but also hate that Alex is hurting here as he just lost his partner and best friend 🥺😭💔
I was so mad when they killed off Louis she was such a good sidekick to RoboCop
@j.b.3428 Once Peter Weller left they practically begged Nancy Allen to reprise Lewis and she didn’t want to and only agreed to on condition they kill her character off
Tell that to Alien ³ and matrix Revolutions
Same here.
Me too
Me too she was so badass
The more i watch this film. The more i love it.
This scene and the scene at the end where Sgt. Reed deputizes everyone are the best in the movie
3:32 "We're not budging! If you wanna get in there, you're gonna have to shoot through us!"
I had a crush on Nancy Allen when these movies came out.
I didn't get this when I was a kid but the scene where they were showing the 4 prime directives shows that Murphy has free will even though he's Robocop. The first 2 directives say he should protect the people in the church. The last 2 say he should follow what the OCP operatives were saying. But ultimately, Murphy followed his gut. Something didn't sit right with a bunch of armed operatives trying to round up "squatters" taking shelter in a church (public property).
He has free will but the 4th directive prevented him to shoot mr.villain there. Ultimately, he tried to work around it by destroying the van and was probably counting on his armor to repel all the bullets, until that grenade knocked him over.
Overall terrible decision, but I can't see any other way he could have walked that away.

I’m glad that Robo stood up for the people instead of listening to the rouge cops. But I was hoping they could’ve brought Lewis back as another Robocop.
RoboCriminal
I was thinking the same thing about Lewis, too.
Murphy would've contracted the robo-clap from her.
I hate Lewis had to die. Shes was one of my favorites in the movie outside Robocop. That was his partner.
Robocop is a good guy in the world and entire space universe
Juegos trabajo mañana casa 9:00 1;00 8:00 su casa verde ❤❤😅
I like how Louis forgot she’s not a robot for a second there. Girl, get BEHIND Murphy!
He was her partner, and she viewed him as an equal. They stand side by side.
For all its flubs, this movie had some powerful moments.
Robocop 3 may be no masterpiece but honestly, I like the way it was going for with the resistance fighting against OCP for trying to take over Detroit.
If only the movie was given an R rating then it would've been up there with the first two films.
This is a weird continuity issue that always bugged me. After RoboCop 1, Directive 4 was wiped from his programming. Midway through RoboCop 2 he purges all of his prime directives. Somehow in RoboCop 3 he gets all of his prime directives back including Directive 4.
Most likely OCP reinstituted the Prime Directives while he was in his chair recharging. Also Directive 4 wasn't wiped from his programming in the first movie, it just no longer applied to Dick Jones when the old man said he was fired. The old man knew that by firing Dick Jones it would take away his immunity with Directive 4.
That one's easily explainable. The hard continuity error for me is why Lewis already has a gunshot wound on her arm when she says "...you gotta shoot through us!"
nope in robocop 1 the directive 4 was not erased it was "suspended"
the old guy fired dagget therefore is not longer ocp directive so directive 4 wont apply
Robocop 2 he fried himself to remove all the crap that ocp put on him but that refers to the more of 200 new directives never to his prime
so
D4 wasn't in Robo2...
By the end of R2, Murphy didn't have any directives. It's easy to assume that OCP restore them between movies...
3:36 left shoulder, you can clearly see a gunfire wound.
Must've had a rough night...
Yep. or at 4:11 you can easily see the actor playing Robocop (Robert John Burke) shoes where the costume dose not cover the entire bottom of his feet. Or the god awful scene where he fights that first cyborg and you can plainly see his arm hidden behind his back lol.
That was very human of him.
0:53, that's friendship.
Hope Robocop Rogue City makes this noncanon
No te vayas, no me dejes sola❤
Lewis getting killed off in this movie wasn't a big surprise to me because my father *who played in the music recording* spoiled it for me at the family dinner table.
0:28
Badly edited, here is the real version...
"Hey Luis you want your plot armour?"
"No this is the last movie..."
Or
"Nah, I agreed to come back but only if they killed off my character early, thanks!"
I wish they had Nancy allen say “help these people, promise me.” Because i feel thats more in her character to value the safety of the public trust and protect the innocent.
When I saw this I thought they were going to
Make her a cyborg too.
Robocop recebe um abraço meu com a máquina 😅😅😅
She even denied the Kevlar vest. 😢
Robo's movements look likes he's over due for an oil change...
😂😂😂
Gotta cut the guy (Rober John Burke) some slack. First, no one could match Peter Weller when it comes to playing Robocop. He IS Robocop / Alex Murphy. But someone had to to do the job when Peter declined. The movie had huge issues (production, budget, orion dealing with bankruptcy etc), and he had to use a Robocop suit from Robocop 2 made specifically for Peter Wellers body. He said it was physically painful to wear the suit after a hour or so. Bottom line though, movie just shouldn't have been made, but Orion was desperate and dumb.
@@sean8102 I always thought Burke did a good job with the movements, especially when you compared him to the actors who did the TV shows and the suit he was wearing was the same one made for Weller, So that also made it uncomeatable and restrictive
@@sean8102it's good to read a comment like this one. Robert Burke had big shoes to fill and I think he did a great job. Let's not forget he was a different person. A different height, body type, face and voice. I also think that the director made the best possible job under the circumstances. I have a lot respect for both.
I think he moves great. Check out Robocop 2014. Far too human and too agile. Back then people still made an effort for realism. Today we know that the audience eats light food and you don't have to make any effort.
nowadays, when watching this film, it seems very unreal, somehow artificial. as if it were being played behind a curtain in some theater
3:41 💔
*Does anyone get turned on by it?*
R.I.P. Anne Lewis 😢
I never knew there was a robocop 3
It's definitely worst of the 3 films but it has some really good things in it like this bit his prime directives conflicting with each other
I was sad when Lewis was murdered by the Rehab leader. 😥
His name is mic Dagget played by John castle
@robertquant1122 The name escaped me.
Poor louis 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢 💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔
THIS SEEN ALWAYS MAKES ME CRY BECAUSE IT REMINDS ME OF HOW I FELT WHEN I LOST MY GIRLFRIEND IN HIGH SCHOOL
I'm sorry that happened to you. 😥
Did she get shot outside a church while defending innocents from an evil mega corporation while also having a cyborg partner?
Sorry for your loss.
@@williamsidwell9253 That is not funny
@@scidriver actually it is
They'll fix you. They fix everything.
The punch grenade lunch fires scene tells me, the terminator is far more superior than RoboCop when it comes to toughness matters ,against firearms.
5 people that liked his comment cannot properly spell, "Launch". Are Terminator fans much uneducated? 🙃
I did here something about how there supposed to be making robocop returns it's a continuation of the 1987 film ignoring all sequels and shows including the 2014 Remake I'm not sure if it's still happening or not but if it does I'd love to see the iron fist actress play lowis i just don't know her full name but it's jessica something
0:56 They should have shown sparks hitting the bottom when they exit the garage like in the first.
No wonder Robocop 3 is considered a bad movie.
Yea, and this is sadly probably considered one of the "better" scenes of the movie. Yeah.... I say this as someone who easily considers Robocop (the original obv) to be their favorite movie of all time. And def has a soft spot for 2 despite its issues.
Lewis should've taken that body armor.
@ACSwitcherYes it would have, it atleast wouldn't have killed her, maybe just wounded her.
I'm so upset that they removed the sound effect for this holster opening and closing. It's such a cool sound and they go nah I'm just going to insert a generic robotic sound
Конечно Гранатой в область сердце тут любому будет плохо
I can’t help it, this is just dumb. Lewis is standing directly in front a (mostly) bulletproof cyborg and just earlier Murphy literally caught a bullet between his fingers.
There was no reason for her to die other than the script said so.
It was RoboCops fault for not stepping in front of her, I know he had no idea he was going to shoot her, but you can't take that chance, just in case.
This is so undermining to Lewis, she isn't just some damsel who you throw away like that.. this shit ain't canon
It's 100% Canon. And Lewis wasn't 'thrown away'. She gave up her life defending the innocent.
3:41😢
Cool thanks
Legend says Christian Bale got his inspiration for his Batman mouth from Robocop
😭😭😭still sad for Officer Louise’s death😭😭😭
Why is McDagget’s voice monotone like a robot? 2:06
Супер
They had all that time to escape before Lewis had to die.
Good
0:52 Да какой из него Мёрфи с такими-то накрашенными губищами?
It was a stupid mistake of writers. Louis was a good officer. Step backward and hide behind armoured partner? No. The plot twist must happen.
5:22 some tough cop i am, huh partner??
Really hated it (in the cinema) when Lewis got killed. Bloody hell...
Officer down, Officer down because if there’s anyone reading these comments on TH-cam, they should reply to me because that lady cop did not have to die by the hands of rehab police officers, who had just came out of prison, and are now trained to work as police on the streetsand look at this, they had just killed officer, Lois, because she was protecting that church, which had all of those people inside of it.
Ke 3😎
I couldn't believe that Lois got killed in pt 3 I always looked the tones of each Robocop films and thought each had its own I love all 3 movies make a pt 4 to the original movies and make Zack Snyder the director of it
Louis was HOT !
No Dr Lazarus was waaay hotter!
She died in a church,
ZO GOOD
Where I can get that strange hammer.
1:04 What is she hitting with that plastic toy?
Ordens absurdas nao se cumprem e outra se a lei esmagar pessoas de bem não são leis e sim abusos de poder !
Thats the only thing i don't like about robocop 3 thst they kill her
I'd swear Nancy Allen (the actress playing Lewis) only agreed to come back at all if they killed her charachter off early. And of course they couldn't get Peter Weller (Robocop/Alex Murphy) back at all.
Great nickelodeon movie
What if they make Lewis into Robocop, that would make those feminism happy.
I would've liked that idea.
ROBOCOP MANS

Who else would bone Lewis?
All day💪🏾💪🏾!
Donde se puede ver la serie completa😂
Hmmm, I never really got onto this before, but I believe the list of directives are a clear continuity error as this movie clearly has to happen after RoboCop 2. In that movie he fried himself, so the BS directives will go away and it resulted in an empty directive list. I can understand the first 3 coming back, but I don't see how OCP can screw with him again to put back directive 4, specially since it was Dick Jones contribution and was not part of the original plans and also RoboCop gaining support from people around him just as we see here Dr Lazarus destroying the chip instead of installing it.
I just took it as some OCP bigwig thought Directive 4 was a good idea and had it reinstated, especially in light of the RoboCain incident.
Cover me.....😑
But they changed Murphy's voice
