#RoboCop
It's important to remember that Murphy's last memory of being human was falling to criminals as he stood alone. He would NEVER let fellow cops face a threat alone if he could help them.
Ji
You think Murphy could've just...opened the door to get out.
He could have but for the movie him splitting the roof of the car open like a can of beans was awesome.
@@GetToDaChoppa-k5ri thought it was stupid even as a kid. But then to make it even more laughable, he does the dame exact thing with a hotel room door later in the movie
He could have drove straight to the scene and not the 5th floor of a garage to drive back to the ground lol
Maybe he hated that car, or he just wanted to test his new toy.
After driving off the building? No way lol
I know Robo 3 gets a lot of shit, but I personally really enjoy it!
I enjoy it myself personally, remake was just a big pile of shite though I thought personally! Nobody will replace Peter Weller though.
its one of my guilty pleasure mid movies. idc i love Robo.
3 had its pros and cons but as I’m older now 3 does hold a special place. I can honestly appreciate it more.
I like it a lot more than RoboCop 2 (mean-spirited, no heart, no wit, no Basil Poledouris, but RoboCain was badass).
@@MrLavajet Yeah, the only good thing about Robocop 2 was RoboCain.
Rocobop: walks really slow.
Also Robocop: catches a bullet with his fingers.
Big difference between having leverage to move an armored arm fast and trying to shift an armored suit weighing hundreds of pounds...
Shane Black is nearly unrecognizable (IMO) here as Officer Donnelly.
Also, really like Lewis's hair in this one.
7:23 The timing of Lewis's eyes lighting up brighter than Times Square at night and Murphy stopping the bullet with his fingers is perfection at it's best.
Then Lewis goes back to normal like nothing happened in the next shot
@@jimbotron2Steel nerves.
@@noc8226 And Robocop
Found out that Nancy Allen agreed to appear in Robocop 3 if they killed off her character half through the movie.
You can tell it's a different robocop voice, not the voice of robocop 1 and 2.
funny you say this Peter weller actually came back to reprise his role for the 3rd robocop but cause he was already on another movie and it term is contract he had to let robcop 3 go
No shit Sherlock.. it’s obviously not Peter Weller.
Yeah it's a different actor.
How can you tell this is science-*fiction*? It's supposed to be 50 years in the future and that diner was offering steak with potato and a roll for $5.95.
And the cop cars used rotor lightbars...🙄
Say what you like about the movie, but this scene is awesome! I love it!
Honestly, the film has a lot of good ideas to it. It was just the PG13 rating really tied it down from what it could have been, and I don't blame the actors for it, but the need to recast Robo himself hurt it too.
@@freedantheeternalRobert John Burke was good
I actually really enjoyed the movie.
Cops need to learn to drive. "Delusions of ganja" is a classic line like 'pipe dreams'.
Plot hole: they failed to mention how Robocop got the gun arm. 6:21 and anyone who says it's not is an idiot.
It still amazes me how the criminals in the robocop universe still exist 😂 They know an almost invincible titanium cyborg that took down countless criminals (probably even the most wanted in the world) Took down an entire group of armed criminals within a few minutes. Survived being shot at with heavy artillery by like 30 cops. And they still choose to do crime? Let alone still try to fight against robocop. Talk about stupidity 😂
Well, unless they make thousands of robocops around the whole city, the crime rate would be still high. Robocop can’t be everywhere at the same time
2:55 "It's grandeur, dumb sh*t."
you would think that as "powerful" as the splatterpunks are they would know that robocops face is synthetic... Its just to give him a more human appearance. By this time the original skin from murphys skull has been replaced so really the only organics are his brain and heart which are inside the unit not outside. Shooting it in the mouth would do nothing...
I didn't know that; I thought his face was still human.
@@reversalmushroom Nope, his whole skull is titanium composite. They literally cut off his face and draped it over the skull to give him a sense of identity. You'll notice that the top right of his forehead has a hole, which is where the final shot landed when he was killed.
This movie predicted a lot of things. They Watch Doged a traffic light. And a part of the city that's so abandoned its taken over by gangs. That's really dystopian.
What
@@owenjones7522
People have taken over traffic lights before in order to cause traffic crashes
And during 2020 there were sections of city in Portland that got ran over and taken over by rioters
5:18, WARRIORS COME OUT TO PLAY-YE-AEE
I respect what they tried to do with the third movie, but it wasn't as memorable. Even the second had better connections with the first, it just doesn't feel the same. Its too light and well behaved, jokes tried to replace well placed satire. Not good.
Yeah, RoboCop 2 was much more like the first one both in tone and style. I feel like that's the reason a lot of RoboCop fans give it a pass, because honestly...the second movie isn't great either. It's just better than this one. But yeah, I also appreciate what they tried to do here. If only they hadn't neutered it by making it kid-friendly and clearly trying to sell toys...and Peter Weller had reprised the role once more. It would have otherwise been a solid film.
Yeah, the brighty well lit style didn't really fit either.@@SlasherIncorporated
I heard that they didn’t really take their time to make this movie, seems like they just wanted to get rid of it. I was a fan of robocop as a kid and i had all 3 of them movies on blueray but even at that time i knew something was off about this movie. Peter Wheeler not being in it and a mediocre script, i understand now the bad reviews
I always thought it would be cool to see punk rockers with 3 feet tall mohawks and 700$ biker clothes with custom studs and patches back in the 80's but unfortunately real life street gangs never looked anywhere close to looking good back then
They did in London and NYC AFAIK.
It was dope of RoboCop to let them set him on fire, just as a pure power move.
Yup it is dope
1:40 - "Hey kid, watch this" - proceeds to endanger everyone else's life to escape 😂😂
They're in a war, you have to make tough decisions!
7:47 “Cyborg eats bullet”, yeah that dose sound intimidating. Bullets and nails are like candy to robots.
I'm upset that Peter Weller is not in this movie
6:47- he could've opened the door
7:22- oh, he caught that bullet
while this film had some faults (making it PG13 was one of them) the music was on POINT i loved that they brought back the composer of part 1 back for this I LOVE the chase music from this scene.
That kinda saved the movie but the film was a poor one all the same.
Same can be said about Robocop 2, bad soundtrack but good story
Kinda ok, but cringe aspects and too far into body horror.@@NinjaBuddha503
When I was a kid the parking lot jump scene was the "F Ya" moment for me. Now that I'm older I'm pretty sure the car would bottom out and Robocop would be in the sewers somewhere.
"I'm still scanning 3."......"Make that 2." lol
3:33. It was at this moment she knew..she fucked up! Splatterpunx on acid coming for ya'!!
In any "cop" sequal movie, look for these tell tale signs if the movie sucks ass:
1) no more cursing
2) bad guys dont get shot/killed, instead they run away or get arrested
3) no nudity, naked girls, or prostitutes in the background. And no more seedy background scenes.
4) very elaborate building/structural explosions replacing gunfight scenes
5) not a drop of blood in any scene
That’s what upsets me the most because Robocop 3 was supposed to be rated R because I would’ve love that to happen but instead they switch to pg-13 you know I don’t like pg-13 movies I love rated R movies that has nudity, gruesome blood, strong profanity language, bad villains and bad guy that get shot without getting away, making a break for it, and escaping, if Robocop 3 wasn’t a pg-13 and kept it as a rated R then Robocop 3 would’ve been an excellent rated R movie that would’ve had 96 rotten tomatoes.
4:00 the laughter is so haunting, shows how scary the splatter punks are
This film was still good, it was good in the 90s without peter weller.
Murphy, police officer perfect for police here in Brazil!
6:48 best entrance ever
the actually only least thing i disliked about this particular movie is his voice was too robotic while he actually sounded more human in the first two movies
I love how he has his friends back. Scanning her voice and making the choice... fantastic!
The first Robocop movie that introduce me as a kid to the character Robocop. Let everyone say what they want, this will always be stuck in my head.
Same here
I wish this film was set more and more into the future. U can see robo interact with all sorts of gadgets.
Сейчас так как раньше снимать фильмы неумеют...
Still waiting for Robocop vs. The Terminator, anyone?
Robocop would win easily. Terminator got blown up by a home-made dynamite while Robocop tanked a shot from a bazooka.
@vetarlittorf1807
But it be cool to watch wouldn't it and what about Robocop fighting the T-1000?
They made the Splatter Punks intimidating.
i like all the robocop films but.. stopping the bullet with 2 fingers? 😅
6:52 is that a guardian angel on the right??? LAMO!!!😂😂😂
What
@@owenjones7522 you don't understand what a guardian angel is? Look it up!
robocop 3 is absolutely a rubbish one!
The way he caught that Bullet. Damn .
One of the first times the series showed just how damn fast Robocop is supposed to be. When Murphy got turned into Robocop, they talked about giving him the fastest reflexes scientifically/technologically possible. However, most of the time they make him a walking tank just soaking the damage. This showed his speed.
@@danielhaire6677 I wonder what the terminator has to say about this.
@@miguelforrester8685 Terminators were also supposed to be very quick. Play Terminator: Resistance to get an idea.
Bruce Leroy catches bullets with his teeth !!!
@@danielhaire6677 I have played the game and not to mention there is Terminator 3 so yes I know how fast they are.
I like how there was zero reason whatsoever for him to launch off the car parking garage. He wasted like 3 minutes driving to the top instead of just going down. 😂😂😂
"Nice try creeps." lol
Only rewatching this now did I realise they updated the cars to a later model and changed the helmets.
¡Es mi escena preferida y me encanta gracias!👍😊
Ridiculous movie, made to sell toys. Relieved that Peter Weller wasn't in it, unfortunately I can't say the same for Nancy Allen! A total shame!!!
6:26 Best scene, we get to see him use the gun arm.
And he drives off that building like my uber driver. Amazingly badass, as all 80's-90's movies should be.
Being chased by a flaming robocop should be a phobia.
@@BobertIsKindaCoollong live the 80-90's.
Even though the movie wasn't that good, it does have some good scenes. This scene is actually action packed and I love it. Also the scene where Ed-209 fires at the cop was cool as well.
Fact! 100% fact.
Officer Lewis said the lines before it was cool
and this is why you do not Mess with Officer Murphy....... you will Always Lose.....
Dr Lazuras was the best thing about this movie, i loved her, so hot!!!!🔥
I seriously fancied Officer Anne Lewis, She's a Fox😘🦊👍, oh and the film's not to bad 😇
4:20 I can only imagine if that splatterpunk member would’ve said something like go f yourself, that sounds great because it would’ve made the splatterpunks more threatening if Robocop 3 was still kept as a rated R.
This scene is definitely the highlight of the entire film, love the black Taurus cop cars
Robocop is the best!!
Splatterbrain looks like Edward Scissor hands minus the scissors....
3:42....."Ahhh SHIT we're all gonna die!!!" lmfao 😂😂 I've always found the delivery on that line amusing!!
7:11 I'm surprised they got the same RoboCop mime artist for the previous films as the movement by Burke was so different from what Weller gave. Moni Yakim was brilliant with Weller.
That guy who tries to shoot robocop at the end looks like Steve Buscemi on crack 🤣😂🤣
4:00 cracolãndia...sinistro...
Logic in an 80's action movie:
- we are few with low ammo, we waste all the ammo shooting unknown amount of enemies far away from us not clearly visible (and shooting far away with a shotgun, a real genius that cop -.-)
- we are two thugs that run away from an armed but slow cyborg and we put ourselves in a trap escaping inside a store near the corner...
- i'm a supercyborg but i risk to explode with my car by falling from an high place instead to go directly to that place
it is amazing how much the red spiky haired punk looks and sounds so much like Robert England/Freddy Kreuger. I used to think it actually was him. It's that impressive and convincing an impression.
Wow those ford Taurus's sure are built ford tough!
After all these years I didn't realize RoboCop had some pretty snappy reflexes/reaction time, able to catch a bullet mid-flight..
No wonder they needed to make a Robocop. The real cops just wasted all their ammo shooting at nothing and hitting jack shit.
i hate the third installment
I honestly feel like this one is better than Robocop 2. That movie always felt a little too dark. I mean the first one is brutal and all but Cain and that little punk kid just irritated me.
I get you and agree. But this, while improved in some ways, is a poor substance in other ways. The jokes are shit, the goofy catching the bullet is cringe and other stuff too. It generally comes across as too child-friendly when it's supposed to be an R-rated franchise and tone.
I'll take "a little too dark" over this kid friendly shit 8 times a week & twice on Sundays
Classic robocop
They need to make a game movie like this.
They already did Robocop Rogue City 😂
@@TomFletcher-mw2ef driving in cop cars as Robocop would be great.

The true sequel to the original, Robocop 2 can be removed from the timeline and absolutely nothing changes in regards to the story.
I'll agree with that.
The gun arm is a homage to glow in the dark robocop.
It's bullsh** they kill Lois off
7:05 robocop: you called for backup?
I just can’t.. have tried but I still can’t Lol. We went from a a near perfect action drama film to another action/heroic film to this… it’s a joke and that’s literal. 1 is untouchable, 2 fills in the gap for more and 3 tells the story when the main protagonist is not casted and the script is shit.

lol, yeah Robert wasn't the best with the voice but his movements are pretty decent. He tried.

The unnecessary smashing/damaging of police property, that exaggerated entrance, and don't let me even begin about the stupid voice, they really done my boy RoboCop dirty in this movie.
"Make that two."
You use a fire screen to obscure vision while prepping sharp shooters or snipers whilst moving and distracting a frontal swat unit. Then you fallback to tyour ambush. The more the scarier.
Watched a docu where it was mentioned that they, opposed to the two previous movies, had to use older rotor lightbars on the cop cars because of a smaller movie budget, and no search lights mounted. Not very futuristic though...
