    Love all of your videos. I do have a quick question. When washing your micro fibre towels, especially after a service like in this video where you clean and degrease components on the bike, do you just launder them like you would your clothes or do you use certain products or processes to clean them? Thanks from Ottawa Canada

    I was wondering if you could use the ultrasonic cleaner to clean your microfibre towels and reuse them...
    New bikes, until you truly know the shop selling you the bike, you just can't trust them. Sometimes even a pricey new bike will come with a bend derailleur hanger.
    So if in doubt, you should always get your bike serviced by a GOOD mechanic, because the initial setup is gonna affect the way the bike will ride for a good amount of years.
    11/10 video quality

  • @fucktheworld1207
    @fucktheworld1207 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    A bike like that, and hasn't been cleaned 🤔🤔🤔 it's not rocket science to give your bike a basic clean every couple of rides.....it's really that simple.

    • @KarlosEPM
      @KarlosEPM 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you can afford a bike like that it's likely you're very busy or somewhat spoiled. Either way, I'm not surprised the owner would rather take it to an expert for maintenance.

    I had a question. In regard to the brake pads what is the reason and purpose for putting copper grease on the back on the brake pads surface? And why not any other form of grease? I work on bikes in a shop and on bikes everyday practically and never done that I would love to know and i'm always trying to learn more.

    The pins that hold the brake pads in place are dreadful on this groupset - they are soft and it's easy to round them off when taking them out. It's better to replace them with Allen key versions.

      @@Jacksparrow4986 well, considering I just did early this year, I can fairly say they are running smooth, however I rather prefer to dump all the stuff into the cleaner and let it be, instead of spending a day and a half cleaning it by hand, further more when the OCD kicks in and you want that beautiful shine like new state! 🤣

      Nobody in their right mind charges di2 every day. If you’ve got a bike computer you simply pair it to your di2 setup and it’ll show how much battery is left. Charge it when you need to.
