Had a chance to experience not the G6, but the bigger and more luxurious G9 in China, sat in the rear for about 30km journey. The seats are ultra comfy and the rear seats can be electronically reclined.
The Blood Orange color is to die for.

I think those of haters who keep complaining about Chinese cars but always praising Tesla, have you all guys owned Chinese cars before? If not, then what’s the point of commenting? Secondly, what’s so good about Tesla when there are more people which trend is getting higher complaining about Tesla reliability issues. Thirdly, have you seen Chinese electric cars now beat Tesla when comes every aspects, have you haters take drive Chinese cars before, before complaining think before commenting

Though didn’t owned yet. But my friends drove both of Tesla and Ora Good Cat, but Tesla can’t able withstand longer than Chinese Cars after just bought last year

Hi Paul. Great video for your neighbours in Australia too. It looks like Xpeng has opted for a lead acid LT battery unlike the Lithium 16V offered by Tesla in their Model Y. Knowing how BYD in their Atto 3 and other manufacturers too, have suffered from using lead acid, I'm surprised to see it in such a technologically advanced vehicle. Unless it is a lithium battery that is - I'm assuming it is lead acid by the battery posts? Otherwise I think it will be well worth buying. I have pre-ordered one and went for the Silver Frost colour with black interior and a standard LFP battery but now considering changing my order to the long range option with the white (very light grey maybe?) interior keeping the Silver Frost exterior paint. I have an Atto 3 too, rather my wife has! We've been very happy with that for the last two years. The Xpeng is to replace my Tesla Model Y written off in a serious no fault collision in October last year - the driver fell asleep at the wheel. Thank you once again for a very worthwhile review.
I also ordered the Silver Frost but with white seats for the Standard Range
This is better than the current Tesla Model Y. But that model is being phased out really soon. Gonna have to wait for the Juniper version to come out before making a proper comparison.
I think you will be disappointed. It is only a refresh, not an upgrade.
G6 is an old model in China too

Have you guys tried Xpeng G6 inside. Did you know why Tesla Model Y and Tesla Model Juniper still unable to beat Xpeng G6 in terms of quality. Even when tried Xpeng G6 inside out, Tesla actually can’t beat Xpeng too. If you think Xpeng G6 is old model, totally wrong. There are reasons on why Tesla interior is too boring and dated than Xpeng

Just look at the disgusting brand name. Naming a company should be the easiest to do, but they are too low IQ to realize they proudly named a company that sound so cheap to international customer ear meanwhile they are competing in Mercs & BMW league. Is it useable ? yes . Are you proud showing of those brand ? Euuuw disgusting. China is famous for cheap junk that was produced in bulk. Not really familiar with accuracy & precision. I have a Tesla, never had a service issue, no maintenance, great performance, over the air updates are just amazing. My wife loves hey Model Y…she has taken several clients and friends showing off FSD 12.5…

If I’m buying a Tesla, it’s a straightforward decision-I’ll get a Tesla. It’s in a league of its own, and that’s that. However, if I’m considering any other EV besides Tesla, I’ll weigh my options against brands like BYD, Xpeng, and so on.
The same logic applies to smartphones. If I’m set on getting an iPhone, I’ll simply buy an iPhone. But if I’m exploring Android, I’ll compare options like Samsung, Oppo, Vivo, Pixel, and others.

As an owner of Xepng car and Tesla car, I can definitely say Xpeng is way better than Tesla. Xpeng's biggest weakness is that it was founded in China lol.

@@networm78 FWD supposed to be energy efficient. that is why nearly all petrol engine is FWD. RWD does seems to give more torque outputs, it can accelerate faster with better tyre grip at the back. But had it been a FWD, won't that give it more spare energy for range? EV tend to be heavier than the petrol equivalent. such a case with Peugeot 208. can double the weight. To push it, would need a rwd or awd, as fwd might not be able to do so. However you do, the electric motor and the battery is less than it need to push the heavy car. I would think for ev it really need to be an awd, it could cost more with extra motor. but some other ev with fwd still in the market like Renault Zoe.
But why this model is not FWD? Is it underpowered?
@@pym75 FWD is more efficient in ICE vehicles because the engine is at the front. However for EVs there's no such issue because the weight is evenly distributed. RWD will give more stability and grip as it doesn't have to steer and provide power at the same time.
