Not my favorite when I see it on the road here in China, but definitely a more compelling offer than MY. I was impressed by the noise insulation demonstrated in your review. Here in China it comes with highspeed and urban self driving, urban only works in some cities. We also get real leather in the Max version and warranties are basically the same as Tesla, 8 years/160.000km for powertrain. The glass roof gets hot in subtropical climates, people here install sunshades that simply clip on. There's an aftermarket electric one for MY that seems to get popular too, MY is insanely hot in summer here without one, hopefully this gets adapted for the G6. One thing I think you should have mentioned is that the G6 comes with 2 Lidars and huge computing power thanks to 2 NVIDIA Orin-X and 12 cameras (no Lidar and 8 cameras for MY), so on paper at least better hardware (I think) for self driving once the software delivers. You can get the car to self park while standing next to it by tapping the side blinker camera three times, useful in case the space is tight. Going to visit the dealership this week and try to decide between the G6, the Geely E8 and maybe still the MY, although they're already listed in order of preference before a test drive. Excellent review, greetings from Zhuhai !

As a US consumer, I cannot overstate how jealous I am when I see these Chinese EVs. Can only hope that the US government will eventually soften their protectionist policies.
I love this car. I like the black trim around the wheel arches and the clean, minimal interior with no piano black, yet some physical buttons. I feel the established brands have become very arrogant in telling us what we want in a car. We've been begging for buttons, no shiny plastics and clean designs but designers keep giving us the opposite. I was skeptical about Chinese cars, but this is lovely. I can never support Elon Musk's Tesla - his politics, racism and nastiness will never see me supporting his products.
Tell me, does he kill and eat kittens for breakfast too? Just because you are Radical Left supporter does not mean there is anything wrong with Elon Musk. It just means that you should live in North Korea. You would absolutely love it there.
Sorry what do you not like about Elon Musk's Politics? There is nothing racist or nasty about him other than teh fact that he wants to challenge the woke establishment.
@@MLife1972 Excessive virtue signalling typical of EU politics, going overboard with CO2 reduction to the point of insanity, vilifying meats and pushing veganism, adding crazy taxes, overregulation, too much gender and race focus to the detriment of productivity, trying to create more jobs for a bigger bureaucracy and for consultants who will advise and support that bureaucracy, stifling free speech in the pretext of "misinformation"
Congrats Lou! I'm a recent MY owner but loving the tech on this G6 and looking forward to seeing more on our roads. Happy driving mate. I love that auto-park tech in the G6 haha
Wow. This was a very thorough and great review of this car. It is priced quite nice and the standard RWD is plenty for most normal people and there is absolutely no need for performance or awd in daily use for most ppl (i live in a country and area with LOTS of snow in the winter and i have never ever needed awd for anything in the last 30 years). Price here is 33385 euros for the RWD including fire orange + electronic tow hitch and light interior so the prices here are very good on this car (NORWAY)
Great and detailed review as usual. Maybe I am impatient, but I can't understand why the 2nd generation of LFP batteries are not incorporated in more of the newer EVs. They are supposed to be virtually non-flammable, higher energy density and possess much quicker charging time. Even when the manufacturers use the 2nd generation of LFP batteries like Zeekr, the size of the battery is still quite small.
with all that space under the hood, not only, not having a frunk, but not even a cover feels very sloppy. Automakers keep working hard to make Tesla look like all in all a better choice.
Yet another excellent, detailed review in perfect English. Your approach to looking at a new car is one of the best around, and example of German thoroughness perhaps? 😊
9:07 The WLTP range on the instrument panel, does this become a forecast when driving? Or is it always battery % x WLTP (eg 61% x 550km = 337km). Cos % of WLTP is pretty useless.
@reginald7214 well that's my meaning. Even an old Model S is still a very good looking car. This Xpeng looks wrong in my eyes . I like Xpeng, owned the new P7 Performance before I bought Tesla Y and Model S Plaid. Tesla is waay better looking
Wow not bad. Xpeng did a nice job on the interior for a minimalist themed environment. They seem to have the right balance physical controls with touchscreen controls. I love how they integrated the instrument cluster into the dash. The vehicle has the presence of higher end with the interior execution.
You would want to avoid Tesla chargers anyway with this car since you will get very slow charging speeds peaking at around 90 KW. Tesla chargers in general are not adapted for 800 volt vehicles. Of course I have no idea how the charging infrastructure looks like in Australia så if only Tesla chargers are available at some places there is no choice of course.
Good test, i would however have liked a review of the consequences of the missing lidar in EU version. I think the first release did come with a frunk, but no heater, so Xpeng listened to the critics and replaced the frunk with a heater. Pretty good exchange, I would say.
Can you comment about the level of visibility for rear view ?, any issues?, this is a common question I have for all these “coupe like” cars . Great Review!! Is this the standard model 16:37 or the top of the line performance awd?
Regarding charging at these fast chargers a long the roads….. I heard that the battery degrades quicker with these superchargers than charging at your home charger, is this true? And how much worse is it then?
Yes they do, which is why getting an EV without a home charger is a terrible idea. As for the rate of degradation it's hard to know but using them for just the occasional roadtrip is totally fine though.
DC charging can be harsh on the battery pack, but not as much as we would've thought. You can find plenty of articles and videos online, exploring this non-issue Plus, I have my EV since March 2023, I have driven 40000km so far, and don't have any charging solution at home. SO only DC charging and some ACcharging at my work place, with no issue regarding the range and the battery capacity. Of course, having a home charging station is cheap and super practical, but not mandatory 🙂
Fast charging itself does NOT degrade the battery quicker. The factors causing battery degradation are heat, especially at very low or high state of charge, and calendar aging. Since fast charging typically generates more heat, this has a small impact on degradation but much depends on the battery monitoring system. If you fast charge between 20 and 80 I doubt you will find any statistical difference in degradation compared to slow charging.
Your passenger sounded like she enjoyed the acceleration. How did she she feel about the comfort? All reviews usually are from the driver's perspective but most of us have others to think about as well.
I understand what you're saying about bigger wheels. However, the bigger the wheel, the better the ride comfort and handling - provided the sidewall profile is around 45-50% or more. A lot of these recent-model EV's have a very big rolling radius from the wheel-tyre package and can easily accommodate wheel sizes above 20" without affecting ride comfort.
Not really. Ride comfort and handing are two ends of the same teeter totter: you don’t affect one without the other unless you’re using active anti roll bars or fancy hydraulics, or the like. And using your example, a 45 or 50 series 20” tire won’t ride as well as a 55 series 19” in the same diameter. Two reasons: more sidewall for cushioning and a lighter wheel / tire package means the suspension has less work to do because of lower unsprung mass.
@@joetacchino4470 Exactly correct the bigger rims are for looks only as they can easily run a 235x60/18" or 235x55/19 which has the same overall diameter. Also the smaller rims getter better economy as well has less chance of breaking a rim on potholed roads.
The standard range LFP version is cheaper than the BYD ATTO3 I bought here (Malaysia) a year ago.. if only the Xpeng g6 had launched earlier id pick this instead..
The standard range seems fine pricewise because of its fast charging, but the LR versions comes too close to the MEB cars of VAG. And the driver assists of VAG is much better than Xpeng´s. Plus you get matrix lights and HUD. The overall costs of ownership comparing a G6 LR with a color option with the new Cupra Tavascan, the Tavascan is actually a bit cheaper because the maintenance costs of the G6 is rather high and frequent. Factor in the resale value and the G6 turns out to be quite expensive. Also i do agree with the steering. Its quite unengaging and the car really is just an A-B kind of car. Going from a Polestar 2, its a very bland experience.
@@autogefuehl No unfortunately not. I just know that the G6 got 1 year/20.000km intervals, and they are not exactly cheap. Service 1, 3 and 5 costs around €362 and the rest are between €600 and €850. Danish prices though, so could be cheaper in other countries. But the Tavascan is cheaper, being 2 year/unlimited km´s i got a quote of €470 for first and €938 for second service. With those service intervals and prices, the G6 ends up being not exactly expensive, but its certainly not cheap either, and when you factor in the resale value and the fact that this is still a new and rather unknown brand, i feel that it should have been cheaper than the Tesla Y LR RWD.
@@autogefuehl Also i noticed you tested the Cupra Tavascan. Im currently deciding between Tavascan and G6. Tavascan would be the "Adrenaline" with DCC suspension, panoramic roof, matrix lights etc. basically the VZ without AWD. G6 would be long range RWD. Which would you choose based on your reviews?
@@autogefuehl Im not interested in a lease this time. G6 LR with color and towbar is around €52.000, the Tavascan with color but no towbar (ill purchase later) is around €53.500 so not much difference. Monthly upkeep will be around the same because the service costs is more expensive for the G6, and i think insurance through the dealer for Tavascan is better than what i can get myself. G6 dealers dont have any offers.
Hi Thomas. I know is has been a short while for the full experience but what is your honest opinion about G6 being a true Model Y competitor? How do you compare them? Any impressions as of now?
Hi Thomas when you review Chinese cars imported for the European market why are you not mentioning the lack of cooperation between the manufacturers and repair/certification agencies? In the UK a number of the manufacturers are importing the cars but not engaging with Thatcham, who help certify and train repair procedures following accidents. As a result consumers buying the new cars are unable to obtain insurance: the cars are uninsurable. They might be better than the model Y but if you can’t get them insured they are paperweights!
Really Thomas. Customers demanded bigger wheels. Be interesting to see the research on that one. It’s proven that narrower wheels help with fuel economy, comfort and noise reduction so where did they get that information re customers from …..
Styling is mixed.....looks like a Kona with Lexus bottom. Kidney intake with lights embed is so so. The rear is a Mazda 3. The piano black trim is dated. I'm not sure why auto manufacturers think it's cool to have a shiny two toned vehicle. Waiting for this trend to end. The wheel well arches are nice. Looks like another me too product. Not sold.
I think the G6 is maybe 10% better than Model Y, so its comparable. I can understand if someone thought Model Y was 10% better, or dead heat However, here in Thailand the base model is $43k for G6 and $55k for Model Y $54k G6 va $68k for Model Y more premium versions of both So for me its G6 no brainer
I think the reason climate controls changes to cruise control is because they expect you to be able to use the screen with no safety issues when the autopilot/help features are engaged. Seems logical to me
In China, this G6 start only from around 26000 EUR... In China, the Tesla model Y rivals are often 10000 EUR more than this, having much better interior and often high rank self driving. I think I can understand why model Y is so unbeatable in EU... Price just are insane
I test drove this car and was ethusiast! I asked lease prices via my employer but there was only 1 that did that (because. the upcoming treat of import tax). This offer was €100 more expensive than model Y and 3.....and doesn't fit in the carpolicy. So I choose the better driving M3 😋 (good review anyway!!👍🏼
At least they use the left sterring wheel control buttons for something other than cruise control settings, on my Zeekr X that left knob is useless for me 99% of the time. I wish they had an update to make that customizable. But I least the climate control / media can always be controlled on the right knob with the mode switch button, so the UX is consistent which is better. So which solution do you prefer? I'd say Zeekr.
@autogefuehl Like you mentioned in this review the G9 had a facelift. Since you had quite some issues, specially software wise, with the pre-facelift version, could you, please, please, pretty please :) do a review on the facelifted G9? Maybe a little shorter then you normally do because you already tested it? I'm sure so many people would be happy to see you do that! Thanks Thomas and Leah!
Of course the real competitor will be the upcoming 2025 model Y refresh model. If that car incorporates the same great changes as the model 3 highland version did, it will sell well I think.
With these crappy turning signal buttons on the steering wheel, the crappy obstacle detection, no 360 camera view? No, I don’t think so. I tested recently the Model 3, and these, added to the uncomfortable seat were a dealbreaker.
That was very interesting. On paper it has more or less everything you could want for €57k. The killer for me looks to be the vague steering. The interior is perfectly capable and has enough proper buttons, but really does not set the heart racing. I think a lot of European brands should worry about this car and whether what they offer is worth the money. That said I would buy something from Alfa or Mini in a heartbeat as an alternative, and even save money.
the price is good, but I won't trusted unless it has Korean car's 100k/10-year bumper to bumper warranty. yes, I will buy this car if it has all warranty mentioned. price has to be competitive once hit USA after heavy Tariff. or just sell design to Foxxcon to be made in USA
A few mistakes in this review: 1. 800V has nothing to do with how fast a vehicle can charge. The heat & chemistry limits are always on the cell level, not on the pack layout (400V/800V) level. 2. 99% blocking of UV light is great but has nothing to do with heat, you need to block Infra Red (IR) light to prevent heat from entering the car. 3. Tesla does include most assist features and all safety features as standard, except for auto lane change, auto park and reacting to trafic lights. FSD is not what the XPeng can do so not included there.
Bigger battery, fast charging, V2L, summon and some advanced adas included, exterior and interior colour choice no charge, longer warranty. Cons no frunk.
Thank you very much for your interest in this topic. I also bought cars with animal skin leather seats before I did my research and got to know the industry. The most important thing is: With today's modern materials, you have nothing to lose, just to gain. You achieve the same kind of luxury and comfort or even better while having the same or better durability with less impact on humans, animals and the environment. You can use fabric/cloth, microfibre or leatherette. The classic approach is using oil/plastic as source material. Overall, a vehicle contains about 300 kg plastic. A car seat needs about 5 kg plastic. So the overall plastic share for the seats is very low and it is at this moment the most efficient way to produce a car seat. A couple of litres of fuel equals a car seat basically. So if you want to save oil/plastic, rather look at consumption for energy, fuel and heating and to other car parts than the seat. Note that animal skin leather also always contains a plastic coating for durability. However, long-term we should of course find raw oil alternatives. So going further, seats can be made from recyclables (e.g. from PET-bottles or old fishing nets) or even increased share of plant-based materials (like pine oil, canola oil or start-up materials like Pinatex from pineapple leaves or Desertex from cactus fibre or the mixed-plant-based Mirum, so be seen at th-cam.com/video/S1aNZeoatmE/w-d-xo.html). On a calculation base, by ditching animal skin leather from car interiors, the amount of emissions (CO2e) is reduced by 85 (!) % (www.press.bmwgroup.com/africa-dom-easteurope/article/detail/T0403389EN/on-the-market-from-2023:-bmw-and-mini-models-with-vegan-interiors?language=en) - and that is a very conservative calculation. So it is at this moment the most important thing you can do to make car interiors more sustainable. A good example for high-end luxury with ventilated animal free seats is the BMW X7 with Sensafin: th-cam.com/video/1pRNkW9nrrw/w-d-xo.html And the Kia EV9 with plant-based oil share: th-cam.com/video/6vXePQi_MAk/w-d-xo.html New leatherette materials can be superior in every aspect, even for cleaning: th-cam.com/video/u94YXJ72UTA/w-d-xo.html More and more natural materials are rising: th-cam.com/video/nRSsXEnwHDo/w-d-xo.html Also check out what the animal skin leather industry tried to with our channel: th-cam.com/video/nP_CvLlaFlI/w-d-xo.html For seeing how the animals are being treated and transported in the global leather industry, watch this footage: th-cam.com/video/tkjCAmq1_8E/w-d-xo.html Note that the footage is genuine and was recorded by a highly decorated investigative journalist in Germany I know myself personally. Also a group of researchers and German journalists from public media could recent directly trace the connection between car animal leather production and illegal burning down Amazon rain forest: www.daserste.de/information/reportage-dokumentation/ard-story/videos/illegales-leder-video-100.html In a high animal skin grade, the animals are specifically raised for this matter. However even if meat is the "first" misuse case, the hide remains a profitable body part. That means: If manufacturers put animal leather in a car and you demand it as a customer, you give your money to an industry that earns money by oppressing humans, animals and harms the environment, you make them more profitable. Alternatively, you could support industries with your wallet which try to improve the sustainability of materials. Also, if you turn the argument around to "meat is the waste of the leather industry" you realize that it doesn't make sense (and is ethically doubtful) to discuss the primary use of individual body parts of mammals. Mind experiment: You are getting slain down on the street; would it matter to you if it was for your smartphone or for your purse? Remember that animal skin leather is no different to fur, fur is just leather where the hair is still on. And fur is widely not accepted for clothing anymore, and of course not for cars. We cannot change what we have bought in the past, but with more information and compassion we can change how we decide in the future. For a great insight into sustainability in the automotive industry, you can also check out our extensive documentary: th-cam.com/video/-8gNXlRGngA/w-d-xo.html
when another car maker can equal Tesla for packaging in a given size vehicle, but retain as close to normal instrumentation, switches and stalks, 70+ kWh battery, they will be onto a winner. The trend that Tesla started with mininmum instruments, switches and stalks are such no, no for most older car buyers, as only economy cars of 60yrs ago were known for this.
Can I ask your view of the BYD Seal and where you think the Expeng G6 falls short of trouncing Tesla ( notwithstanding the supercharger network that will always be Tesla’s trump card even if as network opens to non- Tesla vehicles that vertical integration isn’t there on the non-Tesla vehicles). For me the G6 is only missing HUD and a frunk ( a frunk I understand is available as after market). Discrete buttons and switches HVAC controls might have been nice but atleast there’s an option outside the touch screen. For me the BYD Seal’s only slight failing is the 400V architecture which only gives 150kW DC peak. Polestar 2 and i4 being non-bespoke EV platforms are also rans in my book.

Congrats Lou! I'm a recent MY owner but loving the tech on this G6 and looking forward to seeing more on our roads. Happy driving mate. I love that auto-park tech in the G6 haha
I am in Australia and we have them at work now so they won't be too far off.
The lack of a frunk was a surprise. Otherwise it seems so detailed and well finished.
The trunk is the same as the Audi Q5
Welcome to Denmark Thomas and crew. I hope you enjoyed your stay 😀
Always great to be back. Studied in Arhus 🇩🇰
Hi Thomas, is the facelift taycan driving review on the way? I'd love to see your perspective on it 😁
Elon Musk himself is doing a good job of breaking the dominance of Tesla. 😀
Yeah indeed…
Esp now he's been found to be collaborating with Putin. Tesla and Starlink should be added to the EU's sanction list.
Cheers m8! Ya seems to be beneficial
Hi Thomas, nice to see you visit you’re neighbour country 🇩🇰 😊👍 You are always welcome ✌️
with all that space under the hood, not only, not having a frunk, but not even a cover feels very sloppy.
Automakers keep working hard to make Tesla look like all in all a better choice.
There's an aftermarket solution already, but yeah it should have had a frunk. Will probably be featured in the facelift.

Design wise it looks far better than the Tesla Model Y. Tesla might be a good car but their designs are meh
You can spot a Tesla between hundreds of cars in traffic. The design may not be attractive but you can't deny its an original design
I think Tesla Y is a much better looking car, and its not based on some trendy design, so it will still keep much better in the long term
@@Mr.Relaxedwhat? Tesla were embarrassing looking years ago and you contend that styling will appreciate over time ? JFC fanboy
@reginald7214 well that's my meaning. Even an old Model S is still a very good looking car. This Xpeng looks wrong in my eyes . I like Xpeng, owned the new P7 Performance before I bought Tesla Y and Model S Plaid. Tesla is waay better looking
Not only that, Teslas are now looking stale, boring and dated.
surprisingly good quality
Wow not bad. Xpeng did a nice job on the interior for a minimalist themed environment. They seem to have the right balance physical controls with touchscreen controls. I love how they integrated the instrument cluster into the dash. The vehicle has the presence of higher end with the interior execution.
Charge port on wrong side for Tesla Superchargers. Larger diameter wheels give you more clearance which is good in rural Australia.
Thomas, the temperature on the left jog wheel was something done by Tesla on the model S some time ago. A good solution for sure.
Yep indeed. Sadly they didnt do it in the 3 and Y
Looks better than the Y!
Nah
Good test, i would however have liked a review of the consequences of the missing lidar in EU version.
I think the first release did come with a frunk, but no heater, so Xpeng listened to the critics and replaced the frunk with a heater. Pretty good exchange, I would say.
Tested one in China and i immediately ordered one in hk, arriving later this month
so do you have it yet?
Can you comment about the level of visibility for rear view ?, any issues?, this is a common question I have for all these “coupe like” cars . Great Review!!
Is this the standard model 16:37 or the top of the line performance awd?
Looking very sharp Thomas! I really like your suit.

umm does that partriotion thing in the boot come out or is it fixed?
Regarding charging at these fast chargers a long the roads…..
I heard that the battery degrades quicker with these superchargers than charging at your home charger, is this true? And how much worse is it then?
Yes they do, which is why getting an EV without a home charger is a terrible idea.
As for the rate of degradation it's hard to know but using them for just the occasional roadtrip is totally fine though.
DC charging can be harsh on the battery pack, but not as much as we would've thought. You can find plenty of articles and videos online, exploring this non-issue
Plus, I have my EV since March 2023, I have driven 40000km so far, and don't have any charging solution at home.
Thank you Thomas for a comprehensive review. The G6 is supposed to come to the UK in 2025 - I would much prefer it to a Model Y

Are they sold in Europe? In Germany? If so, how are sales doing?
so far no one of the new brands except MG is selling in notable numbers, however Xpeng are starting to do quite well in Denmark... time will tell
A sales representative told me three days ago that Xpeng had 900 orders in Denmark, each with a deposit of DKK 5,000.
That's why European car manufacturers are scared and try to impose a ban on Chinese cars,!!!Where canI buy one in UK.
@@joetacchino4470I don’t think that’s true for contemporary vehicles any more. Mostly for the reasons you’ve highlighted under “unless”.

Interior is hands down better than Tesla. No doubt about it.
Both crap.
Going from a Polestar 2, its a very bland experience.
thanks for the feedback! You got any more specific info on the TCO comparison?
Tough one, do u have leasing rates offers already? The purchase price will be way different wont it?
It is for sure, I pointed out many elements of that in the review!
Wow didn’t know that 🤯
Havent heard of that issue yet. Is it UK specific or whole EU? Do you have any more info on that?
In the UK Tesla's are in the same insurance group as Lamborghini and Ferrari, as a motoring journalist pretty poor that you weren't aware of that😢😢😢
and likely why VW invested USD$700 mil in Xpeng; watch that space.

Really Thomas. Customers demanded bigger wheels. Be interesting to see the research on that one. It’s proven that narrower wheels help with fuel economy, comfort and noise reduction so where did they get that information re customers from …..
They said that they offered smaller wheels and all customers ended up buying the largest ones. Me personally, I always advise to go for smaller wheels

what EVs do you think look the best?
I think the G6 is maybe 10% better than Model Y, so its comparable. I can understand if someone thought Model Y was 10% better, or dead heat
However, here in Thailand the base model is $43k for G6 and $55k for Model Y
$54k G6 va $68k for Model Y more premium versions of both

Kinda tired that everything being introduced is a blob like SUV thing. We need more sleek sedans and a few coupes!
Same! Great to meet you!
Has it got V2G V2H ?

Of course the real competitor will be the upcoming 2025 model Y refresh model. If that car incorporates the same great changes as the model 3 highland version did, it will sell well I think.
yeah I think so too
With these crappy turning signal buttons on the steering wheel, the crappy obstacle detection, no 360 camera view?
No, I don’t think so.
I tested recently the Model 3, and these, added to the uncomfortable seat were a dealbreaker.
That was very interesting. On paper it has more or less everything you could want for €57k. The killer for me looks to be the vague steering. The interior is perfectly capable and has enough proper buttons, but really does not set the heart racing. I think a lot of European brands should worry about this car and whether what they offer is worth the money. That said I would buy something from Alfa or Mini in a heartbeat as an alternative, and even save money.
thanks for the feedback!
the price is good, but I won't trusted unless it has Korean car's 100k/10-year bumper to bumper warranty. yes, I will buy this car if it has all warranty mentioned. price has to be competitive once hit USA after heavy Tariff. or just sell design to Foxxcon to be made in USA
I like your suit, where can I get one lol
maybe we have to add that one to the shop 😄
Bigger battery, fast charging, V2L, summon and some advanced adas included, exterior and interior colour choice no charge, longer warranty. Cons no frunk.
Amazing car but again the rear seat experience is poor with knees up seating...but otherwise its a compelling option
Animal free and vegan leather are marketing ruses for plastic. Let's stop with this BS
A good example for high-end luxury with ventilated animal free seats is the BMW X7 with Sensafin: th-cam.com/video/1pRNkW9nrrw/w-d-xo.html
And the Kia EV9 with plant-based oil share: th-cam.com/video/6vXePQi_MAk/w-d-xo.html
New leatherette materials can be superior in every aspect, even for cleaning: th-cam.com/video/u94YXJ72UTA/w-d-xo.html
More and more natural materials are rising: th-cam.com/video/nRSsXEnwHDo/w-d-xo.html
Also check out what the animal skin leather industry tried to with our channel: th-cam.com/video/nP_CvLlaFlI/w-d-xo.html
For seeing how the animals are being treated and transported in the global leather industry, watch this footage: th-cam.com/video/tkjCAmq1_8E/w-d-xo.html
Note that the footage is genuine and was recorded by a highly decorated investigative journalist in Germany I know myself personally.
Also a group of researchers and German journalists from public media could recent directly trace the connection between car animal leather production and illegal burning down Amazon rain forest:
www.daserste.de/information/reportage-dokumentation/ard-story/videos/illegales-leder-video-100.html
In a high animal skin grade, the animals are specifically raised for this matter.
We cannot change what we have bought in the past, but with more information and compassion we can change how we decide in the future.

when another car maker can equal Tesla for packaging in a given size vehicle, but retain as close to normal instrumentation, switches and stalks, 70+ kWh battery, they will be onto a winner.
For me the BYD Seal’s only slight failing is the 400V architecture which only gives
150kW DC peak.
Polestar 2 and i4 being non-bespoke EV platforms are also rans in my book.
