A smart one. In the NES port, the dragon boss was immune to the javelin. That's why a torch appears right beforehand. So the player isn't hosed if they have the javelin. Plus the axe doesn't vanish when it hits an enemy, so the first couple axes can get rid of all the body segments and make avoiding getting hit a lot easier.
This version sometimes drops bad weapons right on the bottom of ladders, and the weapons don't time out and disappear. It's either some point in stage 6, or stage 7, when you get the shield/cross, that if you walk in the wrong spot, the useless axe appears on the bottom of one of the ladders, forcing you to pick up the bad weapon, losing the item essential to progress to the last fight in stage 8. 2. After the key rests on the ground on top of the ladder, climb back up, but just enough to retrieve the key while remaining on the ladder. Then climb all the way down the ladder so that you are one floor below the castle door.
3. Watch what the game does.
@@robertp.7876 True.
For all of the NES demos on TH-cam, I've never found anyone demonstrate this. It's one of the more odd, curious NES game glitches I've ever found.
Thanks for the video. I had so much fun playing this as a kid. Never got past the blue dragon tho 😏
Holy Diver >>>>> choose your favorite hard NES game
I remember coming home with rhis game and being absolutely dissapointed that it didnt look at all like the arcade. Tmnt was the same sensation
just got here from watching Ghosts and Goblins Resurrection .. ah the good ol classic which ya gotta love lol ^^
I grew up in the 80’s playing this, 1942, Duck Hunt, Mario Brothers, and many more. Wonder if they could do a Minecraft version of Ghost N’ Goblins? 🤔😬
Is anyone playing this game with a microsoft sidewinder pro pad, for some reason it's jerky and I have it set up right, but sometimes I don't move right when pressing right and sometimes just jump up instead of jumping to the right.
C'est le seul jeu où je me rendais plus loin à la version arcade qu'à la version NES. Dans la version NES, je n'ai presque jamais réussi à dépasser le tableau avec les monstres dans les maisons
Dude, you make it look sooo easy
I grew up on these games! I'm fixin to be 38. I find myself playing games on older consoles way more interest in them than the newer consoles. Right now I'm on a Super Nintendo kick. All my systems up to 6th gen are played on a 27" crt tv. Now the only thing is I wish nbc and abc would bring the Saturday morning cartoons bck! You better believe id have a converter box for the crt! It's nice to see how games have evolved on consoles but for me it will always be them "oldies" that I turn to first!
I am sure it's Arcade cousin has eaten more quarters at the start of level 1than any Arcade game out there. Mad respect to anyone who can beat this game on a single try
The thumbnail 💀
You want a worse version of Ghosts 'n Goblins? How about the DOS version which is beyond pitiful and has no scrolling at all.
Who here after mr sakurai presents pyra & myhtra
Wait what?
Never really enjoyed this game all that much, but the music was amazing
finally found it i remember i never defeat that white snake in my childhood😥
Well that’s because there arent any white snakes in this game, you big sexy man.
This game isn't available in play store
Do you actually need the shield to beat the game?
Yes.
If you don't have the shield when you beat level six you won't be able to face the final boss. You will get sent back to the beginning of level six again.
@@jeffu.8053 Worse than that, you're sent back to level 5.
Doesn’t his lance look backwards???
Damn homeboy you didn’t die not even once!!!! Pretty bad ass….
And to think that even my dad who spent hours on this game as a kid can still only get about halfway through the first level
No save option on this game made me a mad man in the 80s
That was awesome 😎
"Strongth welling" 😂💀
Man I love the translation for this game, it's the best reward you could get after that gauntlet
No perdiste ninguna vida !! Victoria perfecta !!👍
