      I looked at the ones you suggested and ended up finding another app called "StreamControl - Remote for OBS & Streamlabs OBS" which I am now using as it basically set itself up with everything you need.
      play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dev.t4ils.obs_remote&hl=en_US
      Sadly there doesn't seem to be an iPhone version of it though which would have been handy as I have my iPhone on my computer desk these days.
      I had a look at StreamLabs OBS and the remote app for it. But in my opinion StreamLabs is all about making money from Scene Themes
      , Widget Themes, and Site Themes as to get anything decent you have to sign up to Prime which isn't affordable for everyone. The Site Themes option is a great idea but again Prime is not an affordable option for everyone.
      So I went back to StreamElements which I think is much easier to use and has a lot more free content and when bundled with the StreamControl app life is so much easier now. Hopefully in the future StreamElements will incorporate a Site Theme option.
      Unless someone knows of a program to incorporate your streams and past streams etc into a webpage?
      I also downloaded DeckBoard but haven't tried it out yet. But I will. But from what I have seen and used of StreamControl I am more than happy with that.

      Yup, started using deckboard a couple of weeks ago as I get used to upping my presentation production quality with OBS Studio and they seem to now have shading to indicate active buttons. Works great on an old touchscreen chromebook running the Android app to serve as a permanent tablet sized screen for the app for me.

    The Jokes are funny, your voice is smooth, the moves with the hands and moreover ofc your explanations and the structure of the presentation is Top Tier.
    .
    I subbed to all the things, and wish you constanty and fast growth buddy...totally deserve it. Thanks for all the infos, exactly the in-depth-Video i needed.
    Think i will go with the Elgato App to set things up for the beginning because having one or two Streamdecks in the Future is also a "Flexxing Thing" to have, but moreover, it looks just awesome on your desktop.
    .
    Though having the 100+ MEME Gifs/Vids/Sound Alerts ready on a Tablet with Touchportal, together with the StreamDeck APP which only will have Funtional Macros for Scenes/Lights/Sources,...is maybe even better :)
    o7 (salute you)

    If you did an update on this, touch portal can do literally everything the streamdeck can now and more. And it has a back page button to go to previous page, or a button for home page, and gif support, full custom icons, backgrounds, text. You can even set up a clock or hardware monitoring. And you can have external plugins to do even more that they haven't integrated. And if it doesn't have something, you can use it to run any application or powershell script etc.

      Buddon is the professional way of saying Button when microphones are involved. It avoids the Pop of the hard T's. Likewise, you'll always hear "Human" pronounced "Uman" for the same reason.

    What is the advantage of a StreamDeck over OBS Hotkeys oO

    • @thomasapol1770
      @thomasapol1770 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Visual purpose, you can see wich map you are opening. it gives more reality when doing simulators because you can use an image like a light to turn on a light. In gta roleplay you can even use it as your mobile phone.
      You can preset game settings, put an image of pubg on the hub and have some preset settings like mouse dpi etc specific for that game.
      You have infinite buttons as you wont have with let's say 6 macro keys..

    • @sirchimpy6059
      @sirchimpy6059 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You can do other things on the stream deck, such as open your TH-cam, post a video, post a tweet etc. You can also make buttons that do multiple actions in one press.

      @@qwertty5939 There are legitimate concerns apart from the fanboy-ism that normally dominates such discussions. Apple does lousy hardware engineering (almost every one of their products has some sort of major flaw that leads to increased risk of failure down the line and some things like the Macbook Air have nonsensical features like a cooling fan that isn't connected to any heat pipes so it's basically useless for cooling the CPU and GPU), actively works to limit the potential for third-party repair if your device breaks (and their own stores have repeatedly been demonstrated to have terrible quality when it comes to repair service), and has begun embedding "security" chips that not only lock you out of other OSs like Linux if you want to run them, but also make getting your data off a failed device much more difficult.
      I know that many of those aren't phone specific, but they are still indicative of Apple's stance as a company. And it's not something I want to be associated with. Others might not care (or have legitimate requirements that leave them with no other options), but at this point I will never recommend an Apple product to someone unless there really is no other option.
