Some people need to buy smallers cars if they can't understand how big their cars are already. Seems that lane is like a main road! 😀
I wonder if the van and car are still there now.
The main road was closed (I still tried it) that was an alternative route. I don't think the drivers wanted to use that road.

that was nice and narrow. We have to send our 20ton lorries down roads like that daily, it's a nightmare, especially when they phone me and ask directions. We got one stuck once in the lower end of Frenchmill Lane near Shaftesbury. Expensive retrieval and the driver couldn't get out the cab for 8 hours
That was the road they chose to divert traffic down.
How was the driver? I hope he had food and water.
And that's what happens when you get roads which are basically garden paths 😂
The sign did say only use the road to access the houses, but it was a diversion. I would have been fine if I didn't have the boxes on.
Me and Fish had a delivery lorry blindly following their satnav.... it sent them down a green lane and they ended up stuck at a low bridge... They had to reveres a lorry the full way back out of the green lane! 😀
I met a car down a lane once 😆 unfortunately I didn't get it on camera.

As an ex post office driver there was another van's width on his left! Or stick it in the hedge and put your foot down.😂
I couldn't get over anymore. He's only doing his job. I didn't want to give him a hard time. I wish the camera picked up the faces of the first 2 people. They were hilarious

We have a lane just like that near us and google maps always tries it’s best to send you down it..Ashtree Lane or Astray Lane as I prefer to call it, friggin nightmare..you did well there with the panniers on my man 👏

I used to drive parcel vans for a very dodgy local company that was a subcontractor for hermes. We would charge around like we were on fire all day and I used to be really envious of the relatively chilled out royal mail drivers who didn't seem to be pushed as hard.
Nowadays I drive a lorry down lanes like this for work and the royal mail vans have become like missiles flying about. Really rushing hard.
Hermes and other companies drive like lunatics. It's crazy that people drive lorries down roads like this, but it has to be done, especially food delivery lorries for the hotels and restaurants
I love it down your end of the country, but some of those roads are barely wider than a footpath 😬
I'm happy to ride them most of the time. It's better without side boxes though.
Roads like that really aught to be one way.
They should be, but often they are the only way to a destination.

No, I few bikers came through after me. The main road was shut and this was the diversion.
