If you keep sharing the star power up with one another, could you have the star power for the entire level?
I'm guessing no. In multiplayer when a player touches a player that already had the star effect in that level it will not give them invincibility again.

If I'm not mistaken, the level actually DOES have more than 4 double cherries, I think it has 6, but they wont spawn if you already have 4 clones. It seems like the number of clones was very deliberately limited this way. It's not that the game "cant handle" more than 4 clones, it's simply hardcoded to not allow it.
At the end, there was only one toad sitting down, if you missed that.

he was a bit behind the rest, so the idle animation for characters that are near blocks but not under them is to look at the block :)

explanation: in captain toad treasure tracker, there is a level where there is a [DOUBLE CHERRY] and captain toad eats it. yet smashy says that "captain toad doesn't like fruit.".

i think the maximum could be depended on the level, because in beep block skyway i could've sworn there were over 4 double cherries, so try doing this on that level.

What if he got mega mushroom after mega mushroom after mega mushroom? Would he be bigger or would he still be slightly larger than the rest

I assume that your character always becomes slightly bigger, whether or not you collected the double cherry first. The reason for this is I assume that when the timer ends it's supposed to shrink you down to a certain size but they mistyped the number for what size you should be, so you're slightly bigger. That or for some reason the animation for shrinking ends one frame earlier than it's supposed to, so the shrinking ends per-maturely, making you slightly bigger.

Luigi Gets a Giga Cat Bell in Bowser's Fury
Captain toad treasure tracker did allow collection for double cherries, but since 3D world came out first he couldn’t grab double cherries.
I’d love to see a mod where you retexture Luigi, peach, and toad to look like Mario and then have it so their controls always match player 1’s controls. Then you could have 20 clones without crashing the game
I love it! It would be interesting to see what would happen if they kept grabbing mega mushrooms. Would they just continually get bigger with each one they collect?
you should just see if you can make a custom powerup, like an ice flower
I don’t think that is a real custom power up since it exists in different games, but a poison flower that can kill almost all of the enemies would be cool

There is in Treasure Tracker, but not in 3D world.
Actually, cap toad should be able to use it, but ct levels have the clone max number set to 1, so picking up a double cherry in a ct level or in a level with the clone max number set to 1 crashes the game, but theoretically if you mod the game to allow more clones it should work in any level

It doesnt work, if you share star power, you cant share it back
its like a piece of chocolate, you can give it to someone but after they eat it (use the star in this case) they cant give it back

Well there is actually a way I think you might be able to get lots of mario, by ground pounding another players clone you might be able to steal it.

The most interesting thing about this video for me, is that we now know that mega mushrooms permanently make mario slightly bigger after they wear off.
Can you show what happens if he picks up a megamushroom, let's it wear off, picks up another mega mushroom, let's it wear off again, (etc.)?
I wonder if he will just continue to grow slightly bigger every time. If so, maybe you could use repeat this process 100 times and he would be gigantic in his normal state!
Watching all twenty of those clones pouring out of that pike and making a tower filled me with so much joy! Also, I think it should be obvious that Captain Toad is so powerful, even having a second one of him would spell the end of life as we know it in the Mushroom Kingdom and beyond.

Like you showed in the intro, ground-pounding with multiple clones doesn't create a super ground pound, but if you have multiple real characters, it will.
I like it how the Toads are the first ones to exit the pipe and gotta act as landing nets for the rest screaming in agony all the way~

There are actually enough Double Cherries in this course to make more than five of the same character, there are a few invisible blocks with Double Cherries inside. However, if you already have five of the same character, a coin will come out of the block instead of a Double Cherry. I once tried it when I had five Luigis and hit an invisible rectangular block in the goal area where there's usually a Double Cherry in the middle.
Things to test:
If you continue to give a clone a mega mushroom, does it continue to grow in size?
Can you have star power forever if you keep making the clones touching each other?
What if 20 characters all had mega mushrooms?
At the end there, I thought you were going to hit the blocks, spawn twenty Mega Mushrooms and have twenty Mega Clones.

I once got a star and double cherry in the beep block level using Amiibo and the star powers weren’t in sync, like you said. That means it is possible to get the star and double cherry effect in the vanilla game. Maybe Nintendo overlooked it and it should be synced up in the future.
