- In today's video, I added in a NEW character to Super Mario 3D World: Daisy. But that's not all - I also gave her 1.5x movement speed, 3x floating time, and 1.5 jump height. How fast can I beat the game with her if I try to speedrun it? The results might surprise you.

I can tell Daisy having a calico cat suit is smart, but I'm not quite sure why
Because it's freakin' adorable.
Probably because Mario's cat suit is already orange and calico cats appear in Bowser's Fury

her colorscheme matches calico colors - brown, white, orange
It's because, in Bowser's fury, each cat is the color of a playable character in 3d world, except for the calico cats, since calicos are kinda orange, it fits!
i'm actually obsessed with 3D world daisy, and having the calico cat suit is honestly so good. wish she was in the vanilla game. at least we're finally getting her as a playable character again in wonder
The reason why the character looks weird is because Nintendo secretly updated 3d World for raysfire and added daisy. They just made her op because of how little she appears.
As a cat she looks like some cats from bowser’s fury
Princess Daisy, or casually Daisy, is the princess of Sarasaland and a recurring character in the Super Mario franchise. She is a tomboy, a trait first stated in her debut appearance, Super Mario Land. Following this game, she did not make another major appearance until 1998 with the undertaker in the hit game Super Shud Head.

It is technically a spoiler for the reveal at the 40 second mark given how TH-cam shows the top comment on mobile, I was also curious why they're was a top comment about Daisy. That said, it's a 16+ minute video and this information is given 40 second in, so.... Meh, carry on
This was a nice cool vanilla unmodded run, no scuff at all, loved it! :)
Idea: Try to beat the game and as much of the postgame as you can with a character whose stats are all taken from the worst stat any character has, so it would have Toad's jump height, Peach's run speed, and Luigi's traction and sprint delay.

The only thing is that you’d have to apply this movement mod to rosa instead since he’s decided to put it over peach

Oh my goodness, I absolutely love Daisy's powerup designs! Especially the Tanooki suit one, since its a Kitsune fox suit just like Luigi's! :3
Saw this video, said to myself "If the 'Perfect stats character' isn't Daisy, then it's wrong.", and I was NOT disappointed when she showed up! XD 10/10 (Also, Daisy having a calico cat suit is perfect for her)

This was the most legit run I have ever seen
Next you have to do it so you have max amount of double cherry daisy clones. The clones shouldn't respawn, they should all have the same item invulnerability, so if one gets hit, it doesn't respawn, it removes the items from all of the clones, or kills them. This would make the daisy mod a lot more difficult.

The extreme speed you've achieved mixed in with your amazing talent alongside a lack of added mods in order to achieve a low time of 1 hour 48 minutes 28 seconds and 170 milliseconds is truly an astounding feat :D ! You've earned my respect as someone who occasionally watches 100% unmodded runs of games with low times accomplished by gamers such as you who don’t hack and display incredible talent :D !

It makes sense Daisy is the ultimate character. The fan base has unanimously agreed she's a tomboy who works out, so she would be the most in shape out of all the characters. Plus being floaty like Peach because princess shenanigans, she's the ultimate character

I have some things to say about this daisy mod. First of all, adorable, I love daisy so much, and the calico cat design is awesome. I hope it gets more attention in the future, possibly implementing the Rosalina Double Jump into the super soldier variant, as well as fixing a few of the animations (Like after the flagpole), and possibly making her into an additional 6th character alongside the base 5 for the mod. With beginning and ending cutscenes modified to include her alongside Peach instead of replacing her. That might be too much to ask, but I'll say it none the less. I'd also like to see the current wr holder try and set a super soldier daisy record, possibly becoming it's own niche modded category. If anyone knows where I can find a mod showcase showing off this daisy mod entirely, please comment below.
Actually, just looked at the mod page. Looks like they are doing the fixes I'd expect, even doing the voice lines and changing pink effects orange, which I did not even think about. Good on them. Also, realized the super soldier movement mod is separate, which is understandable. Raysfire, if you see this, add rosalina double jump to the movement mod thanks :) I enjoyed watching your totally normal run.

Put daisy in non-party games, Nintendo. Put waluigi in non-party games. Wario has his own series, so he's fine and Rosalina has had her mainline spotlight time, with appearances in more than her orgin. Make me care about daisy in really any way, and waluigi for more than just the memes. They really need it, as they've just been sitting in the party-centered mario games like some kind of ritual.
