iPhone 15 pro, 6 months. About 5 hours screen time (it does vary); health 100%. Usually charged overnight. But generally lasts 2 days between charges. Set to optimised charging.
I’ve had the iPhone 15 pro for almost 5 days and I’ve been getting almost 8 hours of On Screen Time with hardly any idle screen time + another 8 hours on standby when sleeping and i love it. Went from trading in my 12 pro max for this was 💯 worth it
12 series was never good anyways. Even the small 13 pro had the same or better battery life than the 12 pro max. iPhones since 13 series have good battery life, but 14 and 15s went back
I tried this technique, battery on my 15 Pro Max really kept so well having 100% for 6 months. Once it got to 200 cycles I found that the BH dropped tremendously now it is at 93% with 262 cycles. I have found that no matter how it keeps up, when it starts to fall, it does that in a chaotic way. So this raise my concerns on how advantegous this technique is after all
I've had and used iPhone 13 since its release, 93% battery health left with about 2 and half years of use. I sometimes let it go really low % and charge it full, but mostly I charge from like 30 to 40% to 90%-100%... I think its just bad if you repeatedly charge from 0 to 100%. Also if you use the phone a lot in demanding tasks that make it hot frequently, that probably also makes the battery degrade quicker from all the heat overtime. I'm a light user generally, so heat isn't really an issue for me.
you can't use 13 as an example coz 13 is just too damm good.. its so good I think apple must have made a mistake coz no way cook would allow it. I have 13PM and heavy use and still about 85% and I dont care how I use it or how I charge it
Yesterday I observed my iPhone 15 Pro battery drain process, it dropped by 1% for every 4 to 5 minutes. No gaming, no youtube, only texting, opened instagram sometimes, and the 1% drain for every 4 - 5 minutes felt consistent for 10%, means that i observe this for almost 1 hour. The next day, I turn off the background apps refresh and the location service. Starting at 13:00 with 95% battery and ended up at 20:30 with 20%, which means battery consumption rate is 75% / 7.5 hours equals to 10%/hour. In other word, battery drops 1% for every 6 minutes. Most of the times I need to charge my phone twice a day which never happened to my previous phones unless it was an old unit. I am wondering why turning off these 2 services doesn't really translate to much improved battery life. And it came across to my mind that Apple intentionally do this to make us replace the unit for certain period of time. Or anyone else here have recommendation for me to improve the battery life? Feel so frustrating here and thinking to switch to Samsung. Thank you
Many years ago I’ve read an article that you should charge the battery to 92% max. It’s basically the same with just a bit more of battery. I’ve been doing this ever since and I kinda can say when the phone has approximately 90-92% and that’s when I disconnect it from the charger. So this might be also an option for some people who find 80% not enough, me included. I’ve had iPhone 15 since one month ago and I have to say that the battery discharges much faster than IP13. I’ve been a struggling with this at the beginning but now I just accept d it. I always charge in my car as I’m going far for work.
I bought iPhone 15 Pro Max in November 2023. Until now, the cycle count is 250 cycles. The battery health still remains 100%. I always charge to 100% every night with the old Apple 5w adapter and sometimes charge with 25w during the day. The key factors I think affect battery health the most are temperature, wattage and charging time.
iphone 15 here. I charge the phone at night on a timer for about 3 hours. I use the original 20w charger. The battery lasts a long time. At the end of the day I still have 30-40% left with normal use, but I charge it again at night. For the first 8 months, always charging the same, the battery stayed at 100%. On vacation I started charging the phone in the car and the battery dropped 3% in a month. Then I went back to the routine and it didn't move from 97% in two months until I charged it in the car again for a couple of weeks and it dropped another 2%. I think the battery likes to follow a charging routine. The best thing is to always charge it to 100%, enjoy the phone and if the battery dies, change it.

15 Pro is at 100% battery health with 230 cycles
Wow, what is your usage of the phone? Do you charge often and with 80% limit or 100%? Do you charge at car? Mine dropped to 99% after 185 cycles. iPhone 15 pro.

what's this monospaced type called that you use to label footage and pics?
85 cycles in 6 months is just wild. You didn’t even used you’re phone for sure

Hello I have a Pti problem with my 15 pro when I start the screen recording with audio activated the image scrolls before the audio starts I changed iPhone more than 5 times always between the 15 pro series but always the same thing I wanted to know if the problem concerns everyone or it's me alone thank you for answering me I really need to know
Hey can I ask you what's your battery % is right now ?
Never set the charging limit. Mine is at 99% after 155 charge cycles, bought in January 2024.
Now ?
Brother can u advise me which one is better iphone 16plus or 15 proo.
I'm a heavy user
@@adiii..3271 99% at 177 cycles. Its pretty much up to you bro, you can consider 16plus if you want bigger screen and 3ish hours of extra SOT. If you want better cameras and 120hz display, then you may go with 15 pro. Both phones are good in their own way.
Not sure why people worry so much about battery health when they can just bring it to a shop to have a new one put in...charge to 100 and once it hits 80% just bring it to a shop and replace it
That's additional money though, you pay 700-900 for a new phone and then have to spend another 80 for a new battery
I decided to watch only 80% of this review.
Buying a brand new phone to just use 60% of its battery capacity and start using your phone just the way you would use it in 2-3 years of time? So strange approach. Almost as if like you are buying a used phone.
My iPhone 15 pro after 105 cycles 2% loss 😂😂
98 cycles 100bh
So cute
My iphone 15 pro now
88%
740 cycle count
Iphone owners have battery discusion... All the time😅😅😅😅😅
What’s the point in buying a phone with a good battery then charging it all the time 😂😂
Laughs in Android reading the comments of panicking over battery health
