My 1TB iPhone 15 Pro Max is currently at 99% battery health 🔋. I exclusively use an old 12w iPad charger, limit the full charge to 80%, and keep the iPhone away from excessive heat. Every once in a while the phone will heat up on its own, so I just quickly turn on battery saver mode to force all the processors (and radios) to calm down. Which has the effect of cooling the phone.
180 cycles and 100 percent battery health so far 15pro max, using cable charging only and I don’t charge overnight use dark mode most of the time and low power mode regularly.

I use fast charging and wireless charging all the time and it gets hot during both with doesn't seem to hurt much, considering my last phone was at 80% after two years and I charged to 100% every time.

Never care about charge before 20% and stop when hit 80%. More often than not i fully charged it. But sometimes i also disconnect it at random %. @zhila5958 yes. The more energy you tranfer the hotter your phone and battery will get, the more damage it will do overtime. Magsafe is extremely bad for battery. Instead of the energy going directly to the battery, it has to go through your phone's back and wastes SO MUCH energy that becomes heat, damaging the battery. It's simple physics. If I’m at 30% I’ll charge to only about 60% and then give the phone time to cool and then continue charging to another 30%. I also believe you should charge to 100% every once in a while or so to keep the battery recalibrated to knowing it can actually reach the amount you want to charge to.

iPhone 15 Pro Max, 100%, 126 cycles, 5 watt wireless-charging only, 80% maximum charge. Bought October 2023. I think the main problem is the high temperature that a device can reach while charging - regardless of iOS oder android. This is immense stress for the battery’s chemistry.
Bro plz tell me the way how can we charge 15 pro max with 5 watt adapter because it comes with type c port and 5 watt adapter comes with usb port..plz tell me.
I have a 15 plus. 255 charging cycles and 95% battery health. They say it'll take around 1000 cycles to reach 80% health. At this trajectory it's going about that rate so normal wear and tear I guess. I also mainly use magsafe between my bedroom, office and car. The few times I use the usbc port to charge is if I need a quick top up before I head out and I'm low or if I'm traveling and it's more convenient to just pack a brick and usbc wire.
154 charge cycles since December 2023 and I’m still at 100 percent! I utilize the 80% charge limit because there’s a charger at my desk and in my car, so 80% works for me. But I do charge to 100% on weekends. And I mostly use MagSafe.
I have been using my 11 pro since launch day and it is my only phone that is currently on 96% battery health. I only use the cable to charge, it seems I am doing the right things! thank you for the video!
Got my 15 Pro on release day. I put it on MagSafe Duo every night. 204 cycles and still 100% capacity! I rarely charge it throughout the day, a full charge gets me through. I keep all the smart management on, etc.
Iphone 13 Pro Max at 88%. First use Jan 2022. I try to not charge my device nightly. I work from home so it's easier for me to plug in during lunch the second day if I need a boost of juice. When I do charge at night, I use magsafe.
All the things you pointed out made sense. The more you use then the more you’ll charge which will degrade the battery over time. I’m glad you pointed out that as you’re a content creator you will download betas more and that’s what most tech content creators do and I definitely think that is the main reason to the battery health decreasing. I have a 14 Pro Max and have had it since launch and the battery health was 100% for almost a full year. This past year it has gone down to 88%. Still good and lasts me throughout the day but it’s sad seeing it decrease lol. I will probably replace it rather than get a new phone but just depends when the time comes.
I have iPhone 15 Pro since December, 205 cycles and 99% battery health. Wired charging, 20W PD adapter, iOS 18 beta, MagSafe only with wireless battery back while traveling or on trip.
this makes sense i was charging wirelessly a while ago i lost 5% then started using battery bank when i sleep just plug it in and when i awake up its 100 or 99 after i started doing that i didn't lost a single % for like almost a year now so strongly recommend battery banks with the standard cable
I saw a reel on Instagram showing how a guy is struggling with old 3.5 mm earpods to connect to his iPhone 15, 1st using a 3.5 mm to lightning port convertor which he must have bought after iPhone 7 and 2nd again connecting it to a Lightning to Type-C connector and iSheeps across the globe were making fun of him because he didn't have Airpods in 2024 which shows how Tim Cook has managed to manipulate Apple users across the globe how not providing a headphone jack isn't wrong and not having Airpods is a crime...... Like imagine the amount of control Apple has over people across the world 😮💨
I bought the iPhone 14 Pro about this time last year (I know, just before the 15s came out) and sitting at 92% for 100-125-something cycles. I am a heavy user and really haven’t been very careful to this phone beyond using a slow charger at night so that it doesn’t heat up nor stay at high charge levels all night. It often gets hot from my usage, which might explain the dip in battery health. To be fair, my previous iPhone 13 held up slightly better but not monumentally better, having 95% after a year and 89% after two.
@@FragrancewithSteve that’s the last time I checked, which is about 5 months ago. Can’t make a better estimation. I usually keep it on the charger all day.
15 Pro, got it on launch day currently: 98% at 260 cycle count I use both magsafe & USB C to charge, BUT mainly USB C mainly watching youtube and light gaming
15 Pro 272 cycles 91%. I traded in my 4 year old 11 Pro at 93%. Same usage with both phones, always have Low Power Mode on. I will say when I updated to iOS 16 my battery went down 3% in the last year on my 11 Pro. I had to update because I got a Tesla and needed the app. My Tesla has wireless charging so that may have contributed to it due to increased heat in addition to iOS 16’s higher usage.
I was at 97 percent with 205 CC. Been very busy at a wedding ceremony and my battery died almost 3 times because I didn’t get time to charge as I usually do. Strangely I am at 225 CC and BH now dropped further to 95 percent.

iPhone 15 pro max. 90% battery health at 254 cycles. I primarily use an Anker MagSafe charger that can simultaneously charge the Apple Watch and AirPods. I’m also running iOS 18.1 developer beta. I also have a weakness downloading beta software on my primary device.
Mine is iPhone 15 Pro and its Battery Health is at 94% with 293 cycle count.. It was still 100% until 10-11 months of usage but then degraded quite quickly just before iOS 18 was released 😅
I’ve been watching my battery health since this became a thing with Apple and i’ve pretty much boiled it down to this. I turn off optimized battery charging. Any battery regulator I turn off in settings. I charge my phone overnight every night w/ Magsafe. Any time i’m driving, i plug my phone in. I’ve been doing this for years now and every time I change phones i’m always left w/ above 90%. It works for me and I stopped feeding into the cycles. Too much to stress about. Just use your phone and MAKE SURE it doesn’t get near the last 30%.
My iPhone 15 Pro since christmas has 338 cycles and is at 92% battery health. I dont think the cycles is the worrying part, more so how the battery gets stressed. Im speculating my battery health is low because sometimes I sleep during facetimes overnight. Which absolutely COOKS THE PHONE. Other than that, my phone usage is normal. In fact I use my old X for media just to save my battery health for the long term.
My 14 pro max was down to 86% battery life in like 6 months, pretty terrible considering my iPhone 10 that over heated and froze for like 5 years on my dash board is still at like 88%
My battery health dropped to 99% after 6 months, 98% after 5 months, then to 93% within 1.5 months. Currently at 225 cycles. I have no clue what caused this sudden drain.
15 Pro Max since it was released and still at 100%. I charge to 80%. I avoid MagSafe charging as it’s inefficient and generates heat. Most importantly, I ONLY use a 5W charger with USB-C connector. It’s much slower but it’s much safer and most importantly, no heat.
My 15 pro has a first use of September last year, cycle count of 306 and is now on 92%, I use MagSafe charging, use my phone a lot and have recently started downloading IOS beta. Not impressed that I’ve lost 8% capacity in a year but that’s just the way it is I guess.
I think it’s also because Apple’s software hasn’t been very well optimised since iOS 15. I noticed that my phones got very hot very quickly while using simple apps like Instagram, TH-cam etc. in past couple of years. And I didn’t install any betas on them
I use a flagship from vivo with 120 watt charging...honestly after 1 year of using...my phone last me a day and the charging is super quick and convenient...wake up in the morning, plug in and after ive finished brushing my teeth, battery is at 80%😂...thats like 15 to 20 mins of charging..honestly i dont think i can live with a 15watt prehistoric charging anymore.
For what do i have a phone , when i need to put it down ? It sales for a lot of money , but i cannot put my hands on it because it takes only 1 year to own it healthy .
Stop wireless charging or any 3rd party chargers !!! my 14PM is in 90%after 2yrs of use and early on it took a deep hit with dropping to 95% within first few months so later i decided to turnoff always on and used 4g instead of 5g so in well over a yr only 5% got decreased !!! Hope it helps
After 2 years of usage ; I sold my 13 pro max on 90% BH . Then my 14 pro max after 8 months at 100% . Now I’m rocking on 15 pro max for three months and my battery at 100% . I believe it’s all about good and bad usage .
MagSafe and fast charging are bad for these iPhones. my 13PM after a year still had high 90s but my 14 and 15 can’t hang and the big difference was I started using MagSafe most of the time. SMH.
Mine is also at 89% and I used the 80% for almost the entire first half year… Well thanks to Apple Care I don’t care but still sucks. These batteries should last longer.
My 15PM now sits at 99% after 93 cycles. To be fair, I often have around 10-12 hrs screen on time so I’m very much a heavy user + live in a heat-prevalent country so can’t really blame the phone and battery. Never did the charge limit thing. Just pure raw-dogging the device 😂
And it just did the black screen of death last week 😂😂 could I have gotten a defective model? I did notice some unusual restarts and battery activity before.
My vanilla iphone 15 just dropped to 95% yesterday after just 110 cycles. To be fair. I rarely use it since my main phone is an s24 ultra. Not sure if 95% in 10 months is good or not (bought it October 20, 2023).
Great video 🙌. As for the battery health, What’s the issue? Your battery should lose around 10% a year that’s normal. You bought the device to use not to make adjustments. My 14Pro Max is at 83% health and in another few months I’ll just get a replacement and it’s back to business. My wife doesn’t run betas but I do and we have the same battery health 😂. So glad I bought the 13 pro max and didn't wait. The 14/15 have been so bad in battery health. We'll see if the 16 fixes that. The pro anyway. No one should buy the regular 16. No one.
Wired charging, 20W PD adapter, iOS 18 beta, MagSafe only with wireless battery back while traveling or on trip.
my 14 pro max is at 86% batt health. Ive owned it since late october 2022.
this makes sense i was charging wirelessly a while ago i lost 5% then started using battery bank when i sleep just plug it in and when i awake up its 100 or 99 after i started doing that i didn't lost a single % for like almost a year now so strongly recommend battery banks with the standard cable
I have the iPhone 13 Pro had it for almost 3 years. I’m currently seating at 84%
I saw a reel on Instagram showing how a guy is struggling with old 3.5 mm earpods to connect to his iPhone 15, 1st using a 3.5 mm to lightning port convertor which he must have bought after iPhone 7 and 2nd again connecting it to a Lightning to Type-C connector and iSheeps across the globe were making fun of him because he didn't have Airpods in 2024 which shows how Tim Cook has managed to manipulate Apple users across the globe how not providing a headphone jack isn't wrong and not having Airpods is a crime...... Like imagine the amount of control Apple has over people across the world 😮💨
100% battery health with 175 cycles on my 15 Pro Max. I use the old 5W Apple charger only and try to never let my battery go below 20%
what?! my iPhone 14 Pro is on 86% after 1 year
Same here, tanked to 87% in a year’s time.
100-125 cycles in a year on the regular sized battery is not a heavy user though
@@FragrancewithSteve that’s the last time I checked, which is about 5 months ago. Can’t make a better estimation. I usually keep it on the charger all day.
15 Pro, got it on launch day
currently:
98% at 260 cycle count
I use both magsafe & USB C to charge, BUT mainly USB C
mainly watching youtube and light gaming
That’s crazy I’m at 92 at 290 cycles, never used a wireless charger or anything like that
15 Pro 272 cycles 91%.
Same problem battery cycle 330 and life is 87% for iPhone 15 pro max
I was at 97 percent with 205 CC. Been very busy at a wedding ceremony and my battery died almost 3 times because I didn’t get time to charge as I usually do. Strangely I am at 225 CC and BH now dropped further to 95 percent.
I’m at 378 cycles battery 🔋 health capacity 95% I use type C and beta updates. 15 Pro Max. Great video 👍🏽
Purchase my 14 Pro Nov 22’ sitting at 87% battery as of now.
I'm using the 15-pro max and my battery heath is at 94% I'm on IOS 18.0 Right now. however, i can't wait to get the 7" 16 pro max with a 6.9" screen or display basically 7" iPhone 16 pro max with a 7" display if you think about it
iPhone 15 pro max. 90% battery health at 254 cycles. I primarily use an Anker MagSafe charger that can simultaneously charge the Apple Watch and AirPods. I’m also running iOS 18.1 developer beta. I also have a weakness downloading beta software on my primary device.
I have iphone 14 and it is in 87% of battery health after 17 months of use
Similar to yours, I have 313 cycles now with 89% health, but I have only owned it for 7 months.
I had the best battery experience with 13 pro max 14 15 pro max was a..
Ass ? 😂
I still use my iphone 11 promax ... still at 87% 💪🏻💪🏻
My 14 pro max was down to 86% battery life in like 6 months, pretty terrible considering my iPhone 10 that over heated and froze for like 5 years on my dash board is still at like 88%
97% with 208 cycles , also 15PM from release day
My battery health is 98% after a year so I’m pretty happy with my battery health. I have no complaints.
I have an iPhone 14 Pro and my battery is at 88% I’ll be upgrading next year when the iPhone 17 Pro comes out. I should be able to last until then.
My battery health dropped to 99% after 6 months, 98% after 5 months, then to 93% within 1.5 months. Currently at 225 cycles. I have no clue what caused this sudden drain.
I have 15 pro max bought 7 months ago and it’s at 97% with 122 cycles
My iPhone 15 is 3 months old and its 94% now
My three year old 13 pro max is on 86%. And I’m on iOS 15.7. I think it’s all charging habits and usage. Heat is no. 1 killer.
My 15 Pro Max is at 99% after 61 cycles. I was using the 80% charge limit but since it dropped to 99% BH I gave up lol
same😂
My 14 Pro Max is on 85%..bought it on release
And I didn’t install any betas on them
You're actually lucky because I bought my iPhone 15 Pro Max on march 2024 and now it has 90% at 270 cycles which isn't ideal :(
My iphone 15 pro max is at 304 charge cycle at 86% and i dont even have rough usage
It would be a real shame if you accidentally broke it right now and got a new one through AppleCare and the battery went back to good
Mien is on 93% battery health after 1 year and 2 months after 216 cycle counts.
I use a flagship from vivo with 120 watt charging...honestly after 1 year of using...my phone last me a day and the charging is super quick and convenient...wake up in the morning, plug in and after ive finished brushing my teeth, battery is at 80%😂...thats like 15 to 20 mins of charging..honestly i dont think i can live with a 15watt prehistoric charging anymore.
currently 151 cycles in with the ip 15 PM and the battery health is still a 100,but I use the 80% limit
For what do i have a phone , when i need to put it down ? It sales for a lot of money , but i cannot put my hands on it because it takes only 1 year to own it healthy .
iPhone 14 Plus battery 92 percent got it in November 2023 been running beta 17 and 18 on it
100 percent and 17 charge cycles on iphone 15 so far
for me last month it dropped from 99 to 94 all of sudden in just 20 days
I have 15 pro with 432 cycles and I still have 90% and I bought it on December so that means that I have almost 9 months with it
252 cycles and i’m on 93% 😍
15 plus, bought november 2023. im at 99% with 120 cycle count.
Ps: I never use MagSafe charging . I think it’s better to charge using apple original charger
No it's all about good and bad battery quality.
15 pro max at 338 cycles 97% health. I use Ankers Qi2 magsafe stand and Ankers 30w charger and cable. Never charge overnight. Use 80% Limit since new.
Are you using anker 20watts or 30watts?
MagSafe and fast charging are bad for these iPhones. my 13PM after a year still had high 90s but my 14 and 15 can’t hang and the big difference was I started using MagSafe most of the time. SMH.
Mine is also at 89% and I used the 80% for almost the entire first half year…
Well thanks to Apple Care I don’t care but still sucks.
Andrew! I’m still alive and my battery hasn’t tanked. I was just updating to iOS 18 with a mobile hotspot.
Just use your phone
Me.. 482 cycles and 90% BH
Im on 85% with my 4 years old 12 Pro Max. I dont do wireless charging and i usually charge over night
So glad I bought the 13 pro max and didn't wait. The 14/15 have been so bad in battery health. We'll see if the 16 fixes that. The pro anyway. No one should buy the regular 16. No one. It's worse than the 15 Pro and max in every possible way. You are just better off buying last year's pro phone than this year's regular iPhone and pay the same or less for a brand new sealed one
I’m at 93% with 238 cycles. I got it in December
Does the phone start having problems after the battery change. I’m worried it won’t perform the same or it will lose its water resistance.
I have use my iPhone 15pro max for sis months now I have 98 battery percentage and 148 cycles
Same 97
I noticed that iPhone battery health drops faster than Androids. There are ways to check it on Android and my old samsung was at 93% in 2 years
My over 200 cycles and is 100% , only Anker magsafe charging with 80% limit
Mine also at 89% after 375 cycles
