I feel the motorized “frunk” should be a must for every Tesla Model now after the Cybertruck. Is probably very optimistic to think it will come on this refresh would be wonderful! 🚗
Front camera, powered frunk, smaller turning circle and adaptive suspension is my wish list for next Model Y.
I don’t believe it will be available sooner than October 2024, because Tesla will want to name it 2025 model.
There was that memo instructing dealers to tell customers that it wouldn't come out this year.

@@mangomangoai I don’t see V2L that important, at least not for my needs. Is nice to have, but is used on regular basis by a small niche of customers.
Moving forward, I believe all new Tesla models should incorporate power-sharing capabilities, similar to the Cybertruck. The Model Y, in particular, would greatly benefit from this feature, equipped with 110/220 outlets and the capacity to share power with a home through a Powerwall, just as the Cybertruck does.
Totally agree, would be a a good backup for the house during power outages and be a heck of a car camping vehicle.

That is literally the only thing holding me back from buying an EV. Holding out hope that the refreshed model Y will have bidirectional charging, and preferably one of the new LFP 2.0 batteries.

it needs a refresh badly as its same interior as model 3 from 2017 , even though y came out in 2020 , but design wise looks older. so hopefully they speed up process.

Elon tweeted that there would not be a new model Y in 2024 so maybe giga Shanghai only and sold in Europe and Australia then coming to the US in 2025.

I'm still holding out for the MYLR refresh in midnight cherry/white. The newest features are important to me. I'd regret it if I bought now, even with the excellent price. The Tesla rep today told me on a phone call that if I buy a MY right now that I could probably sell it without a loss and get the refreshed model when it comes out. I think too many people will be trying to sell their MYs and had to respectfully disagree with him. I could be wrong. Anyone want to offer their thoughts about that? I'm also hoping for the POS with the refresh but will buy it regardless. 🚗
We have a model 3 right now. Our other 🚗 is an ICE (Hyundai Sonata) on lease for 2 more years. I sooooo want the Model Y when I switch lease.
Wish they can make it slightly bigger to make the third row usable.
I wanted a Tesla this 2024, but what I don't know and know is... if I charge the Tesla at 80% twice a day (Cause I Drive Alot), I can't charge it 100% everyday cause I heard is not good for the battery. Will the battery last me for a long time. It has 340 miles but it sucks that I can't used them everyday. I drive 300 miles a day at work.

Since MY is the most important model to Tesla, it needs everything the new Model 3 has, plus powered frunk, dynamic suspension, power sharing & steer by wire. 🚗 Optional yoke or squarcle would be awesome too.

Tesla needs to add heads up digital display in all theTesla models. Give 6 and 7 seater and give cybertruck for all global customers for making it stay at the top. In Australia there is no options for any model y to have seating more than 5 seats. They Need to make more Tesla car 🚗 manufacturing factories more countries
So. No battery upgrade? Chinese cars are likely to hit 150 kWh by end of this year. I really thought Tesla would step up and, as always, try to be a bit ahead of the curve. Shame.
