(My parents saw him In about 1963 or so, where he was introduced by Joan Baez. Mom said he “looked like a teenager” which he wasn’t-I don’t think-but this was when we lived in Oakland, Ca where my parents were teaching at San Francisco State. They also got to see Miles Davis at the Blackhawk in the late 50’s with COLTRANE and one of his legendary quartet’s (or quintets?) I was lucky enough to see him play the Front Row Theater in Cleveland, about 1980? I’m so glad my parents had a love of great music of ALL kinds. Anyway, I truly liked your video. My friend's family had a house in Woodstock so he knew where everyone lived. One evening around the winter of 68 I wanted to visit Bob Dylan. We drove up the long driveway up to the house when an old man (he was the same man on the cover of John Wesley Harding Dylan record)came running up to my car. He was crazed. Screaming at me and pounding on my driver's side window. I thought he was going to break it. I got out of there fast. Never met Bob, but it was a pretty cool experience..
Nobody knows where Bob lives because he owns so many estates, tours and travels all the time, etc. But I imagine he hangs out in Minnesota more than we think, as he has family, and a big rural place there. And it is so far from anything else, good for such a famous individual.

I've been up the mountain where Hi-Lo-Ha is but never got close enough to actually see the house.... Big Pink in Saugerties off Stohl Rd / Parnassus Rd is another story. I've been up there a few times.

Dylan left that home many years ago- like 40 years ago...it was located on an artist commune started by a Renaissance person from England on 1500 hundred acres- its still there with maybe 50 houses still there- mainly privately owned now. Problem was hippys were always on his lawn, even his roof top looking to meet him & get some of his "spiritual" guidance. So he cleared out long time ago....even Woodstock NY is really now far from being a hippy town, remember that time was 50 years ago and there are few hippy around.
