Dean was a gentleman, scholar, creative, delightful man. He built a beautiful wooden press for me to bind books. David Boyle was an abusive alcoholic, stalker, poser. He totally terrified me one night when I was living alone deep in the woods off of Lower Byrdcliffe Rd., circling the house and howling to be let in. No police at night in Woodstock in those days! The bakery was run by a German couple, the best breads, Baba au Rhum, traditional European baked goods that side of the Hudson River.Thank you, wonderful Elliott, for putting this together.
@@LuminescentMedia Dean was a close friend of mine when I lived in Woodstock, 1968 - 74. When she was visiting from Florida in 1969, he told my mother I was "American apple pie!" He had a crush on me, but I was involved with someone else at the time. Also too busy for relationships! Elliot was a friend, I was dating Garth Hudson for several years, a gentleman and a genius. Woodstock was my "coming into adulthood" period, what an education! Thanks for honouring Dean.
@@Greenspirit13 Hi there, and thank you, Suzette. Dean turned out to be a bit of a muse for me. The clip above was an outtake from my film "Woodstock Can't Get There From Here," which you might enjoy. It's on Vimeo here: vimeo.com/443564983

Still a great town! And a great bakery
The bakery hasn't been at that location in years....
It is amazing to find out that Zimmy is a self taught artist given his level of proficiency.
What was that about ?
Zimmy has pulled a Fast One on the entire world.

They killed him twice then took out his brain, his soul was not were it was suppose to be.
Still today it has not be found!
They showed his head explode 33 times on the news that day
