I like how she is the voice of Miku but it still sounds different when she sings. It makes Miku's voice more unique: even the woman who originally voiced her does not quite have her voice.
Miku's voice is very high pitched, she even sometimes struggle to make Miku's voice just for a normal conversation talk or even a sentence. So yeah of course singing using that voice would be a really hard thing to do.
It's because it was important thing to vocaloid company not to "buy voices" if they took the voices as they are for the vocaloid characters no one would cooperate with the actual voice actors= buying and selling voices, so they took a very unusual pitch of each provider instead of the normal pitch, only meiko and Kaito if I'm not mistaken provided their normal pitch (but the aren't famous as the others so it wasn't problematic for them)

i hope all Crypton vocaloids get voice banks that are original to their voice provider's tone idk about Kaito and Meiko but Miku, Kagamines and Luka have a lot of issues with their sound because the singers were playing characters, doing those cliche anime voices
i really hope so... although with len that would be harder lol but meiko and kaito sound exactly like their voice providers because they weren't playing a character
KAITO and MEIKO is the most troublesome ones IMO, most of their sound doesnt connect to other japanese character / pronunciations. its extremely difficult to tone both of them just right, so that it wont took ages to release, but also not sounds like TTS from 2001
