    Finally! A recipe for people who are not afraid to use garlic! So many recipes call for like 2 cloves of garlic! I can't even taste that! 🤣 This is a perfect amount!

    I use my Foodie ALL THE TIME and have adapted many recipes to it. I guess it's time to get one of these too.

      They have a new one coming out, so I'd wait and compare the two to make the best decision for you!

    Hi Louise, love the look of this meal. Could I do it in my ninja Foodi with the same times?

    • @TheSaltedPepper
      @TheSaltedPepper  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Well, since it's a sheet pan meal, it would be a lot easier to do in the oven. I have those instructions in the written post on my website. It certainly is possible to do in the Foodi, but you would only be able to get a small amount in the basket. Maybe enough for 1 person. The temps and times would be similar, but I would probably drop the heat back to 300F for the Foodi for baking the chicken.

    I used 2 bone-in skinless chicken thighs. Baked everything for 25 minutes. The thighs weren't quite cooked after 25, so I air broiled all for 10 minutes (checking chicken after 5 minutes). Everything came out perfect and all at the same time! The chicken was cooked with no signs of being burnt on top, and the veggies had a wonderful air broiled texture to them. This Ninja Foodi Air Fry Oven novice thanks you!!

      I'm sure you could, but the recipe would have to be reworked into a layered meal.

    What temperatures should I use in the oven? I have a foodi but in previous comment you suggested the oven instead if you dont have the air fry oven. I love your videos they are very professionally done.

    Could you use the Smart XL grill to do the sheet pan meals and use the roasting pan? There are only 2 of us so we don’t need near as much food

    Louise, I just purchased the ninja foodie dual heat air fryer oven. The booklet that comes with it says not to use olive oil. I just watched your tutorial here, you used olive oil and your oven didn’t appear to be smoking. Do you have any advice on this? I prefer olive oil when cooking but I don’t want it smoking

    • @TheSaltedPepper
      @TheSaltedPepper  ปีที่แล้ว

      I have always used olive oil in all of the Ninja appliances and have never had an issue. As long as the olive oil or any oil for that matter doesn't touch the heating element, you should be perfectly fine to use it.

    I followed your instructions and recipe for the above meal, the potatoes did not brown like yours and the chicken temp. jumped from not done enough to overdone in a minute, not sure what the issues are.

    • @TheSaltedPepper
      @TheSaltedPepper  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Rosemary Hubis That is strange. Are you sure your thermometer is accurate? As for the potatoes, have you noticed any other irregularities with your oven?

      @@TheSaltedPepper I use a new Thermapen. Guess I haven't used it enough to know, it toast bread & bagels perfect. Plan on doing separate different food items this week to get comparisons.
      I'll let you know.

    The reason for sheet cooking was to not make lots dishes dirty 🤷🏼‍♀️who said potatoes need longer to cook then chicken 🤔

    • @TheSaltedPepper
      @TheSaltedPepper  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The time depends on the thickness of the chicken and the size of the potatoes as well as how you like the potatoes cooked. Doing videos and cooking at home are different, you certainly can put everything right on the tray and cook it how you like.
