Trigger killing it! The new Sagola 4600 guns are kickbutt! Love em man....So much better, and that basecoat is a total game changer! I was with you on the 3300, but now the 4600 with the DVR BASE laid my metallics down so perfectly! I even used some cheap clear and laid it so flat! Perfect!!

Wow trigger! You pulled out all the stops on this review. Best video I've seen so far on these new Sagolas. I know you weren't too impressed with the green and blue caps. Good that they sorted it out with the new base cap. Nice new tool options for pros. I am diy'r. I splurged on my LPH400 and W400 Bellaria. I don't need to go buy more toys😁
Yea man, Sagolas are great guns, great customer service, I've been spraying with them since 2002 so I feel they are worth me putting the effort into a decent video on their latest arrival. Plus I'm honored to be one of the selected painters to be sent out the guns to demo for you guys. ♥️

I use gumout carb cleaner to clean mine out. Put the red straw right on the aerosol can nozzle. It solvent and non chlorinated so its safe. Best thing to use

Love the channel. No BS, just good painting tips. I'm a DIY warrior. What I would love to see is how Triggerman approaches a blend within a panel...say small scratch in middle of a door. I see so many tips: use wet bed, blend out with 50:50 blend of basecoat and clear base. Blend out with 50:50 blend of basecoat and clearcoat. Do none of the above. How does Triggerman blend out a spot repair in a single panel?
Thank you sir I have plenty of videos on tight blends. I don't use the wet bed that often, I grew up painting before there was a wet bed so we had to just do a good blend back in the days. Take a browse through older videos. But I'm sure I'll have more to come in the near future.

Finally figured out my key to getting smoother clear with the turbine...and one part of that is from watching you lay out that clear FAST. Guns blazing!
I had been a guy that kinda slows down and watches the clear go on and set up the guns to allow that. My turbine is only 9 psi but 65 cfm, so I narrowed the fan and opened the fluid more. Then I whipped that gun across the panels with like, 90 percent overlap. Probably going about 70 instead of my usual 45 mph🤓and it worked. No runs, very smooth. Not a lot of nibs. And looked very wet with good clarity in the reflection. Retired from my day job to do rust repair and paint about a month ago as well. Have yet to take a day off playing catch-up😬

Hi Trigger, you know it saddens me to see people that don't look after their guns after all they aren't cheap these days so to look after them is an investment as they will last longer, my old GTI ProLite and Pro are still going strong and they are both still using the original seals when you have people saying they don't last🤷♂same with my X5500, DV1 in fact none of my guns have ever had a seal replaced👌
I always regret not getting a 4600 Extreme before they were bought out by Elcometer as after that the prices went through the roof but the new updated guns do look nice, I would love to see you use them on a job when you can brother👏🙏👍John UK

Hey Trigger hope your doing good bro. Knowing that your in Florida and I'm down here in Texas, the weather is brutal for us painters. I do use Sagola 4600 extreme for quick overall work and they are great man. I am into getting the base and clear guns but I'm kinda on a ledge here. Being so hot I just like you don't like to add any reducers on the clear. I'm spraying more and more HS Clears, what air cap would you recommend? I see the chart and they pushing a 1.3 but I don't know if they are taking into consideration the heat and humidity. Thanks in advance man.
What up man. For those HS clears you might be better off with the DVR cap. That titania cap might not be able to break up that thick clear enough. I know the Sata breaks it up good. I had that issue with the Grant7 clear I had to use my Sata 5000 to and it glassed it out.

quick question trigger. on really coarse metallics. would you recommend bumping psi up or down. or keep it the same. this silver toyota is kicking my butt right now.
Heavy course I'd lean more towards lower than higher. And use a bit slower than needed reducer

That's the AM-TECH clear I use on all my jobs. It doesn't dieback as long as you don't use reducer. Look at my video on the black GMC overall paint job. I showed the truck the next day out in the sun it looks fine.

@@NextEraCustoms every job I've sprayed on this channel has been with that clear, there are over 130 videos on cars on my channel. I've been spraying the clear for 11 years now no issues. And any clear will solvent pop and dieback if it's not sprayed properly. 👇🏼

Not cheap in Australia they are over $600 Dollars Aussie Trigger Man. Base,Clear,Primer gun each a lot for a DIY indeed of course good guns but they still need cleaning a 600 dollar Gun i would clean all the time as i do with my Guns nows I strip them completely and are A1 condition .

Can you tell us if it's a big difference compared to the older 4600 extreme? I have the extreme.
A "Big" difference no. But there is a slight difference. If you have the old gun you're good. But if someone was going out to buy a gun and has neither, depending on the price might as well go with the never version.

That's my go to gun. Simply because of the overspray. If you're spraying in an area that you need less overspray in the the LPH still may be the way to go. But if that's not an issue then this gun is definitely a step up.
I have that orange cap, have you tried the silver cap. Night and day. Silver cap is awesome 😎
Would love to know how you get to demo a spray gun I have been in this business for over 40 years and have never been allowed to demo a gun. Always had to buy it and hope that i liked it! Sagolas i have been using since around 2000 had a 4400 xtreme then purchased a 4500 also 3300 GTO. great guns. Im not knocking or complaining on you I value what you are doing more than anyone on TH-cam you keep it real and speak the truth.was just wondering about the demos thats all.
Yea I'm not sure how they select who gets what. I honestly never expected to get anything. I've always paid for my guns and still do for the majority. But every now and then I'll get contacted. And 80% of them I turn down. They look like very cheap guns little companies trying to expand and spread their brand. So you spray across all social media platforms ?

I don't know the official price yet. But the guns are definitely an upgrade. Especially for the base coat. For me at least. I'll still have to do more jobs with it but so far I think it's awesome.

@@reyjr3608 Sagolas are hosers so start off with fluid a few turns out from closed then adjust as needed. Full fan start at 28 psi and adjust as needed

For metallics DV1 but for base coat in general both are equally as good

Ive seen those crystal paints before.. that was after my time.. we did a lot of marbling.. water drops. Even take a rich torch to it sometimes. 89s and 90s did an assload of mini trucks with paint worth more than the truck. That crystal looks like a pain. Maybe once you get it down. I want to try that iza metal. And i need to figure out how they do that raised engraved chrome shit theyre doing

Interesting! The sealer I spray on boats is heavy. Like 6 times heavier than the base. Idk if that’s normal. 😂 those new guns look nice! No sir, I don't have any intention on trying those guns. I personally doubt care for the supernova spray guns. I have the first series. For over 10 years and night have used only 15 times.
