Ah yes, Starship Troopers that classic “Summer Blockbuster” that premiered in November of 1997.
Yeah but I watched it in JULY 2020. CHECKMATE
It's always summer somewhere in the world.
Uh? I thought I watched it on a theatre during 1996......
@@screenjunkies I just remember that Call of Duty Honest trailer, were EVG(epic voice guy) says: ".....your mom!"

This and Mars attack deserve more recognition
LOVED 'Mars Attacks!!' !
That movie actually scared me when I was a kid 😅
@@GrinFlash007 SAME! 6 year old me had nightmares for weeks!
"We come in peace..." :)
Still holding out hope that there'll be a Weird Science Honest Trailer someday...
Seconded.
This!
Still waiting on scarface honest trailer. I actually suggested that one some time ago and still hasn't been done.
I'd watch it.
I like this film. A good comedy that everyone missed when it came out.
another pizza and what is that reason?
No way man. The casting was on point! All the young kids are vapid pretty idiots, and all the older adults are maimed and scarred from their service. That's the whole point!
yep, it's on Netflix atm i saw it the other day, still pretty hilarious and awesome
Yeah, I was always confused, too. I "got" it when it came out and loved it.
@another pizza the casting was fantastic imo, I don't know why you say everyone missed it. this has always been a popular film in my area
I've seen a resurgence in the film's popularity lately and that makes me beyond happy.
I dunno, I'm actually surprised they only made an honest trailer for it just now but this is definitely one of my all time favorites. We even discussed this in our Biology of Science Fiction class.
Please do an Honest Trailer for The Mandalorian
Ah hell yah
I’ll say ‘PLEASE DO THE MANDALORIAN’ for the intro
Yes
k!
Screen Junkies cool
In on the joke? IN ON THE JOKE? You think this masterpiece is a joke? When you are sent to Big K you won’t think it’s a joke anymore. ...Would you like to know more?

Do a 'Every Van-Damme Movie Ever' Honest Trailer, kids today need to learn the legend of the Muscles from Brussels.
This can also apply to "Ever Steven Segal Movie Ever."
He would have to call it:
*Every Damn Damme Movie Ever, Dammit!*
Yes!
@@TheRealNormanBates Also yes!
If you're talking about muscles add these guy's too
Arnold Schwarzeneggers
Silvester Stallone
Dolph lundgren
Chuck Norris
Am I the only one who thought Rico looks exactly like the main puppet from Team America?
Haha yeah
The perfect patriotic male example
Damn why is Casper so perfect?
Apparently Casper Van Dien was called "Ken Doll" all through high school and college because he was literally THAT perfect-looking.
Please say: Revenge is a dish best served cold and revenge is sweet so revenge is ice cream.
Finally an Honest trailer in honor to the Hero who avenged Buenos Aires! Long live Johnny Rico!
The only argentinian hero who make it to Hollywood. Watching John rico make me feel proud to be from buenos aires ... Despite the fact no one here Is named "John" but... Welll...
Avenged? Klendathu was the reprisal for BA, and the Mobile Infantry got slaughtered.
I was doing enough to watch the second and third movies... Humanity is losing the war...
@@r4v3nw1ng1 Hey, the guy survived, helped get the big blob get caught and once more, survived! Everyone else died, but not him, the only blue-eyed blond Argentine in a movie who fought millions of killer bugs on another planet and he made it. Yeah, I felt avenged! So thank you Casper-I mean- Rico ;)
Mara Lkb im from Buenos Aires and i say kill them all

Casper Van Dien coming in was great! I love this movie.
No joke about the drill sergeant being Mr Krabs from Spongebob? Dang it.
Put your hand on that wall Spongebob me boy!
Ever heard of the Kurgan?
Say: “I expect the best and I give the best. Here's the beer. Here's the entertainment. Now have fun. That's an order!”
Still one of my most favourite movies ever.
Who else was lucky enough to see this classic in theaters?
Saw in cinema when I was 15!
@@therantingboy Outstanding! 👍
I was about 15 when I tried to rent it from the video rental store. The clerk told me it was 18A so I can't rent it without parents permission. My Dad was also in the store looking for a movie, I just added it to his pile and presto, movie rented. Positive memory!
@@172389 Good stuff! 💪
I unfortunately saw this crapshoot in the theater and became completely nauseated.
It's an excellent movie, based on an excellent book (that the movie misunderstands), that is being more misunderstood now than ever.
I have only seen it once, in the theater opening weekend. I was so hyped because I had read the book 20 times. I HATE this movie. It obviously is a talented and excellent job of communicating the message Verhoevan wanted to, but doing that to my favorite book. Life is pain princess and anyone who tells you different is trying to sell you something. I keep telling myself this, it helps.
@@jeffreysmith236 it's a great book, that's really misunderstood. Someone, somewhere, yelled it was fascist and all the masses repeat it without actually reading it, and definitely not understanding it.
Hearing Casper Van Dien, that was awesome! SO GOOD! hahahhaha
He's the best!
Such an epic name too.
Q: Would this movie have been better or worse if the MI had the mechanized armor suits from the books?
A: Yes
That was in the 3rd movie
@@dr.killson7355 and it was terrible
@@dr.killson7355 The armour suits in the books are actually closer to the power armour they use in the animated series, than they are to the movie's marauders
@@AtlasMKII I loved the animated series. way better than 3 and the missing sequel. we dont talk about that one.
the books introduced the mecha suits later and did not covered them in the first 2 movies but they appeared in the 3rd movie on the oil station at the end
Do an Honest Trailer for Avatar: The Last Airbender (TV series)!
k
IT WORKED! I’m out lmao
That was fast
AAANNNGGGGG
Lol too many people request it and they finally do it, maybe next week?
"my desire to know more, intensifies." Greatest thing ever. Thank you Casper van Dien
I can`t get over Dizzy`s death up to this day
same tbh
Yeah. But she at least had Johnny. So she died happy. Loved Casper’s smirk when she said that and died.
Her death scene was so traumatic. Everyone wanted it to be Carmen but Verhoeven is too smart for that.
"Follow their bon ers off for a space war."
Aw, to be a teenager again. LOL.
You *know* he's gonna say "bon" - "ers" , right?
You didn't acknowledge Clancy Brown's presence in the movie, what is wrong with you? 😂😂
He nailed his part. And the Kurgan in Highlander. He was simply awesome.
Guess who’s hand gets knife on the wall next
Huh, I dreamed him two nights ago for some reason, AND called him by his name in the dream. That's more than what the honest trailer voice guy did.
@@jfb.8746 Also Mr Krabs
Voice of Darkseid (Michael Ironside) and Lex Luthor (Clancy Brown) in this movie. True Kino
Just wanna add the reason it takes less to kill them towards the end is due to the education about the bugs throughout the film. There's literally a segment in the middle where neil explains it.
It's the unexperienced spray and pray to hardened battle pros at the end story line.
This is actually my favorite movie of all time. Paul Verhoeven is a genius.
I'm right there with you, this movie is my one true love
I think he’s too crazy to be a genius. He might be a visionary.
It would helped if had read the book
@@Morgomir09 He did but gave up two chapters into it. Many elements of the movie were inspired by what he lived through under Nazi occupation.

The sound track slaps and the satire is perfectly baked into the plot

You had me at *"NOT AT ALL BASED ON THE CLASSIC SCI-FI NOVEL,"* Every fan of the writings of the late great Robert Anson Heinlein thanks you!
Also love how this armor got used again (like in FIREFFLY) because it sure wasn't the awesome battle gear described in the book!
