Lovely 37s, I’m really pleased with mine. Saw video by roads and rails about removing sugarcane speaker, as they are distorting and put extra strain on the decoder. The chap from N. Zealand is Julian from station road. I believe Donagall Dad from N Ireland is coming too. No-one will be able to move because of us all lol. See you there. Take care.
Great video Peter! love the new accurascale 37s. Hopefully see you at GETS as lloking to meet up with Tony North Eastern and Garry from Cheekytek too. Take care Steve
🇺🇦 Hi Peter Great vlog buddy. Think Accurascale are showing the other manufacturers how to do it. Class 37 and 55 are brilliant. I'm dc only so it would be a waste for me to buy those superb locos. Brilliant running session Pete. Layout is looking great as well, got that Bachmann office block myself. Also love the parrot that was behind you on the feeders. Great happy and friendly presentation mucker. Be at GETS on the Saturday. Look out for you. Stay safe. DELPH JUNCTION
Hi Peter. Sounds quite realistic by comparision with other sound locos. I thought of ordering a Europhoenix, but couldn't make up my mind. The last one was sold at Rails of Sheffield last night. If I had not dithered I would now have one! Thanks for uploading
New subscriber Peter. Good video, those accurascale 37's are great, just bought one myself and have a 66 and deltic on pre order. Also just saw a bird behind you at 12.39, that looks like a parrot!
Hi Mark, welcome to my world and thank you :) Yes indeed the bird is a ring-necked parakeet. There's a huge flock of them that roost not far away. They stop off at my feeding station in the morning and the afternoon. Can be very noisy :) Cheers Peter
Excellent Peter. Ive had delivery of my Europhoenix but not had time to run it yet other than on the rolling road. Very impressed though. Next job is to fit everything cheers for now Andy
my model shops down here wont stock them due to problems with them one shop did stock them for 6 weeks then stopped had to many returned which i understand as their so cheap to buy cant beat a good bachmann for quality.
Hi your Lordship, yes for sure but I can tell you that they are at the limit of running around a 2nd radius because of all that detail on the bogies etc .. and that's without fitting the extras. All the best my friend Peter
Hi Peter - I am eagerly awaiting mine which hopefully won't be too long now and yours look and sound great .Looking forward to saying Hello at GETS. Cheers Kev
Great looking new locos, Peter and quite an epic running session. There were parts in which I had to look twice to make sure it was models and not real. Really spot on in your filming angles and excellent stock and work! All the best to you! See you at gets, it would be quite an honor to meet you!
Peter, as always, an absolute pleasure to hear your dulcet tones. If only you were nominated for the TH-camr of the year awards...... Don't worry though, you're in utterly excellent and quite brilliant company...... No bugger nominated me either! :)
Ha ha thanks Julian. No we don't need all the pressure and fame, I like I am able to walk into my local Co-Op without being mobbed LoL All the best Peter
Good morning Peter, another excellent video production from the old man makes me laugh I’m probably older than you I’ve got three Accurascale 37s and one of the next batch on pre order lovely models and nice to see LT Jenny Lewis RN getting a little run cheers al
Thank you very much. Have to say after putting the time in in the shed over the four days fettling in the 37s, my back was reminding me that I am in fact 70 years old :) All the best Peter
Hi Peter, they used a field-effect transistor and a magnet on the bogie to regulate the flange squeal...clever stuff. I just sit back and enjoy your efforts Peter, it's like going to the pictures. ATB, Andy.
Hi Peter, great video of some very good class 37’s from Accurascale, I have 2 so far which I’m very happy with, they can be quite delicate when you handle them. Many thanks for your tutorial on the Hattons class 66 axel boxes, my model runs very well now, I’m going to the Great Electric Show in Milton Keynes next month, last years was the first time I attended, it was a very good experience, picked up some items I had been after for a while, met some very interesting people whom know their stuff in the model railway world, thanks for sharing.
To be fair I find Sam’s Trains reviews quite neutral, he says it as it is, he is buying the items some of which I find quite hard to watch because they are of no interest to me, I have purchased a fair few locomotives because of his positive reviews and they have been no trouble what so ever, I find he gets some really bad models at times, I guess he’s only human and he has a point of view like anybody else who reviews models on TH-cam.
Hi Peter… fab video as always 👍🏻 Where did you pick up the Dellner couplings from please? I’ve seen the Accurascale ones, but they look like they would not hang like yours shows here. Thanks in advance 🚂
Hi Brian and thanks. Just for info Accurascale coupler does hinge so it hangs down but I feel its to thin and small. I got mine from these people www.precisionlabels.com/k14.html
I went to gets last year but can't make it this year. 😕 hope u enjoy it. I heard about issues with the first batch of 37's needing lots of cv adjustments have they sorted this for the later batches? I've got a couple of the class 50s on order and considering a third one ATM Regards Daniel
Hi Daniel, yes Im hoping things are OK now and indeed was not just the 37s. So far alls well with these, Ive not altered or tweaked any of the settings. Have to say I have had problems with a few other makers too over the years, all to do with the motors needing replacement All the best Peter
