I saw the 84 minute runtime and was like, "Oh shit, how could I forget the week that 50 games came out?" before realizing again how stupid I am.

For a moment I thought this was a compilation video, but you're right! Props to Jared and Dylan for their enormous effort to faithfully capture an absolutely-insane week of video game releases.

I know it's a lot of work but during these slow weeks it would be cool to see the weeks of the 90's that haven't been covered January 1990-march 1992

My hope is the show runs 10 full years so they can wheel it back around and Jared can be like "40 years ago, today" in 2030.

Now in the 90s is one of the videos I look forward to each week and making one this long is pretty amazing, I have a hard time making a 10-minute video let alone an hour haha.

I've been saving this one since release cause I knew it'd be the last time I got to see this show. Still sad it's gone. It's like I put the game down for a few months but finally decided to step into Northern Crater. Let's Mosey, Now in the 90s

Your experience with AeroBiz and AeroBiz Super Sonic were the same as mine. I even had a group of 2-3 friends who would get together and play it weekly multiplayer, with each of us taking care of our own airline on the same save file.

I saw some similarities between 25:55 and what Samus Aran would look like
    Where does Bomberman take place?
    the Bomber Nebula
The general setting of the Bomberman universe takes place in the Bomber Nebula, a far away distant galaxy. The protagonist of the series, Bomberman was a first robot of his kind who was tired of creating bombs in an underground factory in Bungeling Empire.
I'm once again, happy this all occurred in a far away distant galaxy.

Lightening Force wasn't a port of Thunder Force IV (because it was originally released on the Mega Drive to begin with) but just a localization of Thunder Force IV with english text and a (misspelled) namechange. Other than that, it's the exact same game. Thunder Spirits on the other hand was a port of Thunder Force AC, an arcade version of Thunder Force based on Thunder Force 3 from the Mega Drive.

In case someone hasn't pointed it out yet (Not here to troll just saying in case anyone wants to play/finish Rise of the Dragon) it is available on GOG for 5.99 USD. Not sure if it has all the features of the Sega Saturn version but hey its there lol.

I wonder if the gold collection for Hillsfar on Steam still does the transfer stuff.
Also, Aerobiz Supersonic is one of my favorite games for Genesis, and yeah, I can't explain why I love it too. It's competitive, but like, on a business level. It makes you empathize with business owners, the only difference is, Aerobiz is fake and you never get personal profit.

Some time from now, will there be a channel called "Now In The 2000's?" Hosted by some Gen-Z version of Jared? Would be kinda weird to see... because to me that's an era I still remember very vividly, like, it might as well have been a few years ago.

I always wondered how many games were made for that SuperScope as I also wonder how many were made for that the Sega Menacer. I remember my friends having both but only the games they came with
Dave Perry as famous he was for those games he went down when he appeared in a episode of the Uk gaming show GamesMaster. He got beat in Mario 64 by someone random guy and spat his dummy out on tv and i think unfortunately it stayed with him for a while

36:30 Geez, that kid is mega rich. They had him trotting home what... 30+ games? BlockBusters was literally the Boardwalk of video rental. Expect roughly $5 for a night (or maybe it was two at that price) of entertainment. Radical Richie Rich there rents around a hundred-fifty dollars for games... he can't even keep? Nah. The real secret of B-Busters was not to rent, but to buy. Man. They were always selling at some unbelievable prices and having those slight (or not at all) specials like buy two, get one free/half off type deals. (You know... like getting Clay Fighter (that super rare one) for $12! ...with the box.) I built such a library that way. But renting that stuff? Way too expensive.
And... if the right hands had done Dragon's Lair for the consoles. It was indeed possible. Because over in computer land on the Commodore 64, there was a decent attempt to port the arcade game, rather than cheesing it for some terrible side scrollers. If anything, it was like the game makers had 'traced' the real laser disc images and went from there. Far from perfect. But it went to 8-bit porting where the NES/S-NES cowered towards something... nightmarish.
