Happy remonetization!
Well deserved
Almost 2 hours of Now in the 90's?
LET'S GOOOOOO!
Where are we going?!?
@@Shenanigans0409 we're going waaay back. Back into time...
To the kitchen for some seltzer and chips, then the couch to watch nearly two hours of Jared and Dylan talking about the video games that came out my last summer at home before college. @@Shenanigans0409
@@PatMcCarthy420 To another world!
To a place much much better than now. My god now sucks.
Pepsi ads with Cindy Crawford😂😂😂
2 hours of now in the 90's... you know exactly what your viewers want. Gonna probably play this on repeat along with many other things i've added to my playlist while i work and/or sleep. Have a great weekend and happy new year bros
Oh so THIS was Dylan's deadline headache...
Now in the 90s (1994) will be interesting to cover because lots of amazing great classic games to talk about 🤩
Heck yeah! In particular, I look forward to Earthbound, 1994.
Hard disagree...
But that's because I was born in 94 and don't want to hear about "old retro games" from after I was born.
I cannot wait for them to cover Earthworm Jim, Donkey Kong Country & of course, Gex! 1994 was my birthyear so I can't wait!!
@@37thgungrunts Then go somewhere else genius 😆
@@joeyparkhill8751 Also Sonic 3 Sonic and Knuckles and Mortal Kombat II
I had suppressed adventures in dinosaur city from my memory. It was one of those cousin meetups where they used the TV to shut up the kids, and I just focused on my turtle van.
I have that damned baby bottle pop song stuck in my head now, thank you editor Dylan. I had completely forgotten about those.
I need to know how they didn't get slapped with copyright infringement. That blows my mind
@@Rykiz_Vidz I’m sure the baby bottle pop legal team is out of the office for the holidays.
@@Rykiz_Vidzfair use.
It's a miniscule part of the video
@37thgungrunts Maybe I am wrong, but I don't think that would constitute as fair use.
The song they blatantly ripped out of a videogame was created solely for the game.
Wouldn't that be almost the same thing as me making my own commercial playing a song? Instead, I sing a song that sounds exactly like the opening from Final Fantasy 10 or something? Only with different instruments.
Why was Baby Bottle Pop a thing? It's disturbing...
Been doing inventory at work for the last 3 hours in between customers.
This video is a godsend
It’s that time of life Summer 1992 I’ve been blessed to see all from 1980-Now
I was born in 79 and man life was awesome back then
Love! now in the 90s!!!!!
OMFG Black Bass and Blue Marlin reference those were both constant rentals of mine at All Star Video.... also WELCOME BACK TO MONETIZATION!
Some of the insert commercials are just lovely. Also, the pause before "that would be Hydlide" will never not be hilarious.
loving it, cant wait for 1994, many big games
Nice. Gotta love long videos like this for not only viewing, but also leaving in the background to fall asleep to.
2:20 Can you feel it by the jacksons probably, commercials usually steal popular songs and tweak them a bit. It also sounds like the TMNT theme a bit
WHOA what is this massive episode!?
A late christmas present perhaps?
15:41 Combos were an unintended glitch in the original Street Fighter II. Players discovered some moves stunned opponents long enough to string another hit, and developers then embraced and cannonized the mechanic in later games. The first SF game to count combos was Super Street Fighter II.
1992 is legitimately my favorite year of my life.
Quickly becoming one of my favorite channels
Jesus! This episode was awesome! Truly holiday season special!
Might and Magic had a remake!? That was one of my favourite games! Played it second year of college, in 2017, and absolutely loved it!
I got a bit bored of it after a while, and used a walkthrough to finish it. But I sure had many hours of fun before that happened.
I'd really like to check out that remake.
The video game rental gamble. Yes, I remember it well.
Happy remonitization! Also that phone game ad from the 90s just gave me major flashbacks. That ad used to play on tv all the time!!!
1992. My Birth Year LETS GOOOOOOO!!!!
nice, i love long plays, adding this to the other one you did for Spring. also glad to hear the appeal was successful. Ludicrous it was even an issue to begin with.
I still own my in complete in box copies of Street Fighter II, Clue, and Mario Paint. I played Clue until I used all but the last of the notepad pages, then I played it even more when I was able to mark Clue notepads in an image editor. Also lowering the value of my complete Street Fighter II copy to my complete indifference is teen me writing dumb inside jokes for just me in red felt ink into the manual. I still remember writing "Not sue cow!" next to Ken's portrait, a bastardization of "nok su kao," which means "the white warrior" in Thai, a phrase the crowd was chanting at Jean Claude Van Damme in Kickboxer, and this association with Ken is permanently burned into my brain because a bunch of kids were chanting it at the arcade while a guy was playing as Ken.
without the Editor Dylan segments included, maybe you should change the title to "The BIGGEST Video Game Releases of Summer 1992"
what a way to end 2023 or i mean 1993 lol, cant wait to see you next week and to see all the block buster titles coming soon, big hitters like sonic and DKC coming around the corner and the best time to be young
Congrats on the appeal win. Can’t wait to see what 2024 (1994) holds in store. 🥹🥳
god I was in 4th grade in 94.
@@thecunninlynguistmore or less same here…what a journey, I’ve been to prison and now got full custody of my 4 kids. And now our main way of gaming is Steam…almost 40 😂😢😅
Like how the Maverick Wars started, right?
@@GabePuratekuta when is zero going to turn!?
ever get that monetization problem dealt with? screw youtube, your channel is great
They sure did. Made a community post about it yesterday.
I really like these videos, just fun to watch some great video games history of the 90s with some fun energy. Pretty much the only channel on TH-cam that I hit the notification button. Keep it up Jared this is great
Thanks for a great year NIT90s.... y'all need some merch!!
That was great, such hard work! Happy new years lads 🎉
Good lord. Nostalgia overload. Thanks!
What can be said about the time when Street Fighter 2 came out on home systems that hasnt been said? It was a great time..
What about:
Legend of the Mystical Ninja
Indiana Jones in Fate of Atlantis
Darkwing Duck
Truxton 2
Undercover Cops
Nemesis 2 GB
Rampart SNES & MD
Panic Restaurant
NHLPA Hockey '93
Lemmings SNES
?
56:00 This is actually just three frames of animation, but it's weird that they didn't do it in the MD version considering Sega's arcade legacy
I think some of those were in the Spring '92 comp.
Editor being a boss *again* ... love 'the show' guys !
PS: I just bought Andro Dunos 2 for the PC on Steam; it's on sale ... haven't played it yet - it's like 01:30am now - but you sold me on the oldschool vibes and it has kept the original pixelated style !
excelent 2 hours of fun and nostalgia thanks jared and happy new year more of now in the 90's
Is that the baby bottle... never mind, editor Dylan beat me to it.
Surprised Magic Sword reviewed that poorly
I played it some years ago and recently on the Capcom collection and thought it was really good
Knights of Round felt worse as a matter of fact
man we have all been jonesing for more content and you drop this total banger to finish off the year, nice work player
Great. Now I’m nostalgic for when Now In The 90s was nostalgic for 1992.
nice compilation, loving hearing about old games while I work and sometimes even turn my head and watch what's going on! when editor Dylan full rapid review compilation?
That Fireball Island board game was awesome 🤘
The pepsi commercial with Cindy Crawford at the beginning👍🥰. I had her posters all over my room in 1992. Ironic the video starts with Spanky😄
42:35 - D&D Warriors of the Eternal Sun has one of the most badass theme songs in the entire Sega Genesis library.
great video, man. really takes me back.
We haven't forgotten.
Ah the year I was born. I have very fond memories of not remembering anything. what a time to be alive lol
We back bb
Defenders of Dynatron City proves that Mighty No. 9 wasn't the first video game IP that tried to be a multimedia franchise before the first game even came out.
One surprising thing about the Super NES mouse is that it looks exactly the sam in both the USA and Japan. Even if the colors of the mouse combine better with the looks of the USA console, Japan got the exact same mouse.
Robocop was bad ass when I was a kid. I remember watching the first movie with my dad when he rented it. I was like 9 or 10. Same with Terminator 2. All the violent R movies really hooked us kids in the 90s.
Well, I already watched these episodes back when they came out, but given your recent demonetization, here's a view, like, and comment for you. Here's to another fantastic year of "Now in the 90's!"
I love you now in the 90’s
Love the vibe of the channel. You got a sub
I freaking love this show, I hope the stupid automatic copyright stuff doesn't decrease the experience too much!
Love this channel ❤🎉
Hella long video. LOVE IT!
BONG HITS FOR TALLARICO
This is great! ❤
I thought Kirby was named after the vacuum cleaner.
I was 1 on 92
so this is a little bit surreal to hear what kids where playing while I slept +10 hours a day
I love all of your content Jared. Just a suggestion I would like to see you do some more game reviews like with your final fantasy videos.
Maybe dragon quest or some other rpg series??
Again I love your content Jared you’re my favorite game reviewer by far.
Same here. I've always loved all of Jared's work. His content really helped me chill out during a highly stressful part of my life. Always look forward to each new video drop.
Those are always in the works, they just take more time and effort than anything else. He's currently working on Final Fantasy XIV and it's going to be a very long video.
He's working on a FFXIII video, but the game has been fighting him every step of the way.
I've been playing Spanky's Quest since I was a little boy
18:50
When we were kids, we all thought they were saying *"Horyuken"* for both the Hadouken and the Shoryuken.
In our defense, the audio was kinda bad and none of those words made any sense to us, so the brain had to compensate.
Nearly 2 hours. You spoil us.
Hope the channel is all good
It is now, the appeal was successful.
1:25:37 The World Heroes characters didn't show up in SNK vs Capcom because those characters were not owned by SNK; they were owned by Alpha Denshi (ADK). SNK Playmore eventually bought ADK in 2003, which happened to be the same year SNK vs. Capcom came out, and NeoGeo Battle Coliseum in 2005 merged the ADK and SNK universes.
Love it!!
so is this a stab at the recycled content crackdown that youtube wrongly hit them with?
lol might be a double play, since he's complied the spring releases as an hour long video earlier in 2023.
Seems so
Nope, they're just on break for a few weeks.
I love Spanky’s Quest!
I always like Super Black Bass Hyper Turbo Edition, myself.
Yes!
Oh we got some minutes to watch, babieee
I cant wait for 1995, so many fun games.
Spanky's quest had a killer OST(on the SNES)
Haha, I was half paying attention at the start of the video and thought it was a real current ad. I was like “wtf am I in a time warp?”. Unfortunately I was not :(
God bless the 90’s.

I'll start on 2023 (22:27) and finish on 2024... bring it on, baby!
Ryu-Ken translates to Dragon Fist, so it still works.
The RoboCop intro is from the mid 90s show not the original cartoon FYI.
1:45 The Spanky music sounds like one of the themes from the OG NES TMNT game.
HOLY CRAP ITS THAT THING/PERSON FROM WHICH I REMEMBER AND/OR HAVE HEARD OF!
And now a taste of things to come.... ahhh, mortal kombat out. Juke joint jezebel coming to my cremation... still a bop. Ugh. My ancient bones cracked from typing that.
I remember seeing the super black bass every time I went to the video store to rent a game LOL and similar art to the video game even in casinos you can find slot machines that have similar artwork
I like your videos, making a comment for the algorithm.
Baby Bottle Pop didn't come out until 1998.
I definitely remember that rumble in the Bronx trailer having the Mortal Kombat music
Robocop got popular with kids for two reasons. First is the NES cartridge that I still have to this day. Second is the network TV version. Okay, three reasons...the third being The Terminator. It's like some TH-camr said about Blockbuster or any other video store. We couldn't watch R rated films, but we could browse the horror section and watch the network TV versions.
Man those were some good memberberries 🫐
I am commenting for engagement!
Hopefully the channel is monetized again!. have a good new years!
It is!
More editor Dylan!!!
Oh. My God. It's Christmas. LOL
❤
Yep, it's Baby Bottle Pop playing. *sweat drop* Why! I miss the handheld games, my favorite was Mega Man. @1:00:00 I still say the first Mortal Kombat Movie was the best one. I did wonder why it was playing for a Jackie Chan game segment.
The Towns FM Marty also has Splater House.
I'm surprised you didn't mention the RoboCop series (1 season)
26:50 OH NO, PROJARED DOESN'T KNOW!
