You painstakingly color in every bit you want colored. Get on it it’ll take about 30 minutes for something halfway decent.

The issue about inking the base is that new players aren't trying to ink their base at all, which leaves you as the only one... Literally had a match where I had to superjump back to spawn twice because people weren't inking base and I had to get every side myself. and, well. There's also specifics to it. See, if you're in the middle of a battle and two of you go back to ink the base, then that leaves the other team in a more optimal position to push, especially if their base is already inked. Which then leaves you with a two vs four, which lets the other team though. It's a bit of a gamble. In my opinion, the optimal route is that two people will stay back to ink the base, one person for left and another for right, while the other two push for middle, inking turf before the other team can. People should be more focused on inking turf at the beginning than killing. Then, if the two were quick enough about it, you'll be able to have all four players in the center by the time the battle really kicks up.

Gotta disagree with you on one thing. if you ink base at the start, then you don't have to worry about people ignoring it on their way back to center. Only the last minute and a half of Turf War really matters, so taking control of center at the start is entirely redundant apart from maintaining control for the duration of the battle, which can easily be rendered meaningless by losing to a team that has a better base inkage.
This is why im 50/50 on getting splatoon 3 for my b-day I dont want to load up the game and see 10 among us 17 furries and 58 big man posts when I just wanna go try to beat the final boss

I will say this, it's important to ink the base asap if your weapon is something like a roller that can cover a lot of ground really quick. (I say this, but as someone who primarily uses pistol/dualies, inking the base somehow always falls to me.) Otherwise yeah, fill in the gaps after respawning.
Quick explanation, MP100 is Mob Psycho 100, a really good anime that's getting it's (probably) final season in October. Also Reigen Arataka's from it and his English VA's amazing.

For inking the base, atleast for me, is whenever im in a team NOBODY inks ANYTHING and immediately makes a b-line for the enemy base meaning that they only splat people and i have to spend the entire round just trying to ink anything

The Modded 3ds jokes comes from the fact that Kirby and Smash bros creator Masahiro Sakurai created a TH-cam channel a few weeks before splatoon 3’s launch. He posts about game development topics and in one of his videos close to the games released, he mentioned how surprisingly easy it is to mod a 3ds. And that’s the joke lol
That's not where the joke comes from, it's been around for years bur recently gained a lot more popularity. It's just making fun of that one dude who always talks about how easy it is to jailbreak a 3ds even though no one cares. Also sakurai never said that, it was an edited meme screenshot

I feel like a good team in splatoon is a balanced one, like 1-2 people stay to ink the base depending on the stage and 3-4 people ink the mid ground and protect the base that is being filled with ink

Gotta disagree with you on one thing. if you ink base at the start, then you don't have to worry about people ignoring it on their way back to center. Only the last minute and a half of Turf War really matters, so taking control of center at the start is entirely redundant apart from maintaining control for the duration of the battle, which can easily be rendered meaningless by losing to a team that has a better base inkage.
But if you ink it on the way to wherever you're going, you'll be able to charge up your special faster

It's a genuinly fun game. The commmunity posts are on screen like 2% of the time and I don't think I saw any so far going through the campain.
