The idea is that a small group of actors will ask the audience for a scene, location, etc and on the spot the group must act it out without a script. Making something up on the spot. Not many actors can do that. Robin Williams and Jonathan Winters were a skilled Improvisational Actors. I'm sure you can find videos on TH-cam on improv.
