Jack Liu seth had a remote control bear made for the movie for Mark and cast to react off of he likely brought it to the set. the face is mirring his movement via face tracking the rest of him is controlled by a joystick looking thing seth holds while talking it looks very weird you can see him in it on the behind the scenes of the movie
