  • Changing the oil is one of the most basic things done in a car service - but what happens if the oil gets left in the engine too long?

DO NOT LISTEN TO BITOG USERS-- CHANGE OIL AT REASONABLE INTERVALS.

10k oil changes aren’t good either folks. Oil is cheap. Engines are expensive. Do you oil changes every 5-6k if you want to keep your car along time.

Even when I was 19 years old and had no money I was still willing to pay to get an oil change. On a beat up old volvo worth a grand max

Usually when the oil light comes on, it's all ready over.
    Bye bye bearings.

After running BG’s dynamic engine restoration kit, this would look brand new for anyone in this situation. More than worth it considering how much a rebuild or replacement engine would cost.

what kind of cheap shit oils do you use when such thing happens after 22.000km? I've seen way longer intervalls and the engine was clean afterwards

If you use full synthetic oil you can go longer but 22,000km is a long stretch to go without a change.

Load of rubbish, there's loads of modern engines that sludge after only 10k. You must be incredibly cheap

Does running an engine flush not void the warranty?

Oil changes are essential but You’re just trying to over charge the customer just like majorly mechanics .
