    Malaysia is amazing!!! But in some way, I prefer most people don't know much about this beautiful country, because some kind of people tend to ruin things... like Thailand and other crowded places. Some people don't respect places and that's a shame. That's why I like Malaysia has some strict rules...

Just 1 thing - at 20:10 regarding Malaysian and their concept of punctuality & effeciency - I think it really depends on the group of people. She is right. Malaysians should do better when it comes to punctuality. However I wonder why people have this view that we are very relaxed. I think we act that way because that is our personality but our schedule is very pack. I mean Malaysians are notorious for being overworked. I remember watching Rafizi Ramli interview and he said when he worked as an accountant in the UK at one of the big 4 audit firm people don't work overtime as much as accountants in Malaysia do. An Australian friend of mine who is a Doctor, when he heard that Malaysian doctors have to attend to 40-50 patients per day he was shocked. In Australia doctors only attend 8-10 patients per day. That's what he said anyway. Malaysians are overworjed, probably because we don't have enough professional/high skilled workers. There is however a lack of entrepreneurial spirit among Malaysians. That to me has to do with the level of economic development. Countries tend to become more emtrepreneurial once they become rich.

    • @invictustv1409
      @invictustv1409 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Using your logic, the Gulf Nations like Saudi Arabia and Qatar are the most entrepreneurial countries because they are rich.

    • @secrets.295
      @secrets.295 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@invictustv1409 They are rich because they have oil. I have lived in the US and their entrepreneurial level is far beyond our reach. At least for now. They are extremely entrepreneurial people. Penang is like 5% of Silicon Valley level and Cyberjaya is maybe like 1%. Lol. I am not exaggerating when I say that. Its common sense actually. When a country is developing it thinks about how to reach the next level which is to become developed. Once u are developed u want more than just a good quality of life. You want to be innovative and what not.

      @@secrets.295 Lol don't compare Malaysia to the US. Of course the US is entrepreneurial as they are an immigrant friendly and open nation. That's why they are a Superpower. Malaysia by comparison is a third world muslim sh*thole that has special rights for the 'special' race. Even Indonesia which is a poorer country on a per capita basis has unicorn companies such as Traveloka, Tokopedia and Gojek. Malaysia on the other hand has zero unicorn companies. Grab is a Singaporean company. Indonesia is more entrepreneurial than Malaysia despite being a poorer country on a per capita basis.

I think the perception of Asia as a dangerous place was because of the history of Vietnam and the Korean War, the political instability of some countries such as Myanmar, and Asia generally as "poor" countries in the past. The reason KL is lesser known globally is because the skyline is brand new. Most of the city is new. I was born in KL and I moved to the US in ‘93. When I left skyscrapers in KL were few and far between. I had no idea KL had boomed the way it has. The skyline of the city I was born in is utterly unrecognizable by me! When I went to school in Singapore in the late eighties and early 90s it was already recognized globally and had a recognizable skyscraper skyline. Not so with KL. It was still relatively undeveloped 20 and 30 years ago which is not that long ago.
