    1. Awareness: Thought comes.
    2. Objectivity, not judgement. Thought is there. There is a thought, a program etc. but it isn't "me"
    3. Realization: If I am capable of observing my thoughts, I cannot BE my thoughts. I am a "whiteboard" of thoughts. When you observe, you are not feeding thoughts.
    4. Freedom from emotional entanglement

We are awareness. And awareness looks upon anger with never having been angry, or upon fear never having been afraid, upon jealousy never having been jealous, etc. etc. etc.

I just broke through the (necessary) 'observer' stage last week. It is needed in order to completely 'rise' into absolute awareness.
IMO there is just this 'one' stage above/after learning to observe. Basically, you can step back one more *critical* time from watching or 'observing' your thoughts.
... and alas. you-are-there-in-crystal-clear-awareness. 😉🕉 (deep studies since 2014). At least, this is what worked/works for me. 🕉🕉🕉

This is what Ramana Maharshi explained, if you do it, you will become a thinker without thoughts and dreamer without dreams. Your thoughts are generated by choiceless awareness received by five sences, eye ears nose taste and skin, if you stop receiving external awareness by shuttin down five senses, your mind will turn inward and start the inward journey . Now you can obesrve your thoughts. When thought ceses and become meaningless , you are going to meet yourself , the real you , who is sath- chith- anandaswaroop means soul with true bliss, this is what Jesus explained as "kingdome of God is with in yourself" . When you meet yourself , you will become God in the human form , shankaracharya told this as "aham bramhasmi" means "I am God". Jesus told the same " I am in the father and father is in me" I and God cannot be seperated . Jesus is the Budda of the West , unfortunately he was misunderstood and crucified. If everyone find God within himself , humans can creat heaven on earth. My salutation to God in you

There’s nothing to gain from observing time aka thoughts so please don’t make a habit out of it. The brain loves mechanical behavior such as practicing observing thoughts. Just understand ALL thoughts are mental garbage and naturally your brain cells will ease up and silence enters. The key to observation is LEARNING. Discover what’s new about your observations ? Not your thoughts which are a collection of images and projections over a period of time.❤

What are you on about, Andy Wang ? "Just observe your thoughts" you say. But the very action OF that observing REQUIRES a thought to initiate it ! So you can never be truly free of thoughts. And neither can you truly say that "You are not your thoughts." Even if there is ONE left, it's still needed.
And even IF we temporarily removed ALL thoughts, how does that change the challenges we still must face every day whilst in this 3D life ? Whatever we do and say or is said and done to us by others is still going to provoke emotions within us of some kind.
Will we get on better with the workmate who doesn't like you ? How will your boss react if you don't think whilst performing your work tasks ? Are we supposed to enjoy a migraine ? Or do we think to ourselves "I hate this horrible pain" ? Yes we acknowledge the pain. It will be there whether we think about it or not.

The I which is observing is already a biased I..how can that limited I approach the unlimited. The one who wants peace has to observe and it wil observe only if when you gather so much energy that can break the shell of limited I.
It can only happen when there is pure attention like you give when you totally merge into something and for that particular time forget to yourself.
And this can only happen if you really wanted to be free of burdens of life.
And this can only happen when you firstly free of self centred activities you have to totally honest with yourself. and if you try this you will get punch daily form every person because everyone has ego and you'll get more and more hurt, your true ego will get crushed and after that detachment will arise.
    Spirituality is not. that easy.
what most people do is they want peace and ofcourse will get peace, mind will give you whatever you want, but they're not free from fear, jealousy, envy, hatred.. if not in this life than another life they'll have work on this.

    • @fleecemane2638
      @fleecemane2638 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

"And this can only happen if you really wanted to be free of burdens of life"
But doesnt wanting means there is an "I" who wants something? Who want to be free of the burdens of life? Or do you mean free of the psychological burdens of life? Because i will always have to eat for example.
      "Spirituality is not. that easy."
what you mean by this? I dont understand.
"and if you try this you will get punch daily form every person because everyone has ego and you'll get more and more hurt"
If somebody is hurt, he will hurt others. So if i try this and get "punched" daily, then i do it wrong?
In my understanding, only the ego can be hurt. So when i walk the way you described i shoul exactly get hurt less and less until i cant get hurt anymore.
Not because i turned into a stone, but because i can look at things without the ego. And the ego is the one that gets hurt. Not the human that carrys the mind around. Not by words.

We are not our thoughts but you can only think about thoughts. Why use a word like _observe_? There's no need. Nobody can control their thoughts, but, this being said, we usually have the opportunities to pick in what to think. So what actually sets us free from thoughts is not observing them, but to point them towards themselves. Put your thoughts to think about them and they will stop telling how horrible you, your face and your life are.

I have to say this is a nice train of thoughts. But its nothing more. Its not an observation. So be very careful what you do. Because what you practice here is called separation.
What i observe is that IAM anger. Iam not different from anger. The observer is the observed therefore there is no oberver.
You create a seperation between what you call "you" and your anger. Where there is seperation, there will be conflict.
As you said it: you are not your thoughts. But what you mean with "you" is the whole body, the whole human.
But "you" is a product of thought. Its a product of your mind.
What you see as an "I" is nothing more but a movement of thought. So you are correct in some sense but you did not observed it.
You used logic and analysis and that are not the tools of observation.

    • @fleecemane2638

Maby an exmaple will help to undertand what i mean:
I ask you if you think you are a good men. Whatever you tell me, tells me nothing about your goodnes. Because i ask you about yourself, there cant be an "objective" answer.
Same goes if you ask your mind about itsself. It will never give an objective answer.
Thats why you are not "in the space". You think(!) that you are in the space but by thinking you can surely not be in the place you claim to be!
So be careful of the various mindtraps!

Sorry i was eating a pizza.
Observing means to look at one thing without any reaction. Just look at it.
Now you say that we should "look at our thoughts" and realize something. This realization is still movement of thought. You realize something in the field of knowledge.
Thats still the same quality as before.
