FFXIV wouldn't be the same game without this magnificent music. It's my favourite game sountrack of all time. The music is one of main reasons why I play this game.
I know how amazing of a composer Nobuo Uematsu is but...I'm really glad that things turned out how they did and we got Masayoshi Soken is instead. Super grateful we live in a timeline where these masterpieces exist
Its just simply insane that there are now about 6 soundtracks available now encompassing the entire FFXIV+expansions OST. AND ALL OF IT IS TOP TIER! I think theres around 350 tracks now going from realm reborn to Stormblood. For a music lover like me this is just out of this world!
I miss the people when I was playing A Realm Reborn. Didn't managed to play the expansions as I was getting busy with life and when I returned, almost everyone I knew has left the game:(

I love these field themes , when I'm almost done for the day in the world of ff14 I ride around listening to the themes and I find random brand new players and help them with gil , I give them around 250k to 500k depends how I did in the market board , really nice to see how they appreciate it :)
This is kind of weird. I know a lot of the openings of these songs by heart, but its been so long since I've been in these areas without being on a mount that I've forgotten how great they get if you actually let them play for four or five minutes

Why is it so hard to find Greenwrath by itself anywhere?? It took until just now for me to even find it on TH-cam ;_; I kept hearing it and wanting to listen to it, but I could never find it...
arr zones are my favorite overworld zones in this game, arr has a very distinct charm to them separate from the expacs (minus some of heavensward)… i think arr has the best designed environments in the game, despite the msq of arr being weaker. i miss the grand nature of these places…

does anyone know if literally ANYONE has uploaded the untitled "safe town theme" @ 41:59 separately? the safe haven themes are apparently different and i can't find this one anywhere. it's so good idk why it doesn't have any attention
+Frost Flare Sorry for the late response, it's called Discordance, can be found on the ARR OST, but it's not currently on the channel anywhere, didn't even realise it played out in the field, thought it was just the opening to the first Gilgamesh fight. Either way, the track isn't even 20 seconds long, and feels more like ambient noise to me. If you would like it on the channel I'd be more than happy to get it on here.
this sounds so terrible, but not being a big mmo person, i had my ps4 in front of me, and played as a hunter. i had recently been in an accident and was high on pain pills and man i just got immersed in this sucker, and meeting people. weird, cause i'm not a young gamer, but hearing this music "takes me back" for some reason. pretty cool to affect a jaded gamer like myself
Well...tbh Im playing Munster Hunter World and I feel the combat does suits me better than FF, (even thou I have around 4k hrs on FF14 and multiples SVs done) but.. I miss Eorzea lore...players and SPECIALLY the music: which is why I'm here... Thanks for uploading this! EDIT: Oh yeah.. I def miss the mounts (my choco and behe-mount :/, jumping fat chocos... pvp and the Lalas...
+MrFr1day well they wanted to completely reboot the game. It was unfortunate that a lot great tracks by Uematsu were replaced, but FF14 in its current state is totally fine, music wise.
+Hectar Savoie Alot of the 1.0 music is still in the game~ Twilight over thanalan even plays in some CS~ but it's rare and littered all over the place~ An example of surviving 1.0 music is Answers~ the theme that plays during the end of an era trailer~ The music that plays in Halatali Hard mode Brayflox Hard mode and the boss music for Diabolos and Ifrit are also 1.0 tracks~ there's more but they mostly play in dungeons or in some CS throughout the game
@@Eldrygg imagine FFXIV with combat like Smite. It could be epic. Mybe they should consider adding skillshots and dodges so at least it ia hybrid action game, not tab. And mybe true action combat one day

Gaming has lost it's magic over the years, I agree. It does also help that FFXIV brought back some of the big names from Square such as Nobuo Uematsu

2.0 OST was such a massive step down from 1.0... 3.0 is a bit better but man, 1.0 music was insanely good
