I remember watch my big brother playing FFX when I was a kid. I even played it myself but couldn't made it past Mt. Gagazed. I just couldn't beat Seymour. For Years I'd know how this game ends because of my brother but never finished it myself until about a year ago. During pandemic it just popped back in my mind. And this Time I did it, but man i was not ready for this. The whole ending cutscene and the whole credits I cryed like a little child. Even now when im listing to this pice of music, writing this, all those emotions come back to me and I'm starting to cry again. THIS is how a good game should be!

I was named after yuna cause when I was born I looked like her. Since then this game is my everything.I always get really calm and emotional when I hear "back to zanakard". But now I'm listening to it because me and my boyfriend are gonna have a child and I'm struggling to tell my parents. I'm aournd 4 weeks pregnant and I'm gonna keep it with him. We're still young which doesn't makes it easy but I know he's the right one. This music gives me motivation that we'll make it. Maybe I'll get the blessing Yevons?

@@JDubDotEXE It indeed would **NOT** be the same. There is great danger in remakes. The game is completely changed - new enemies, new characters, new story, new anything they want to throw in there. FFX remake would obliterate the game. Like FFVII remake. And Star Ocean 2 remake. Legendary JRPG's - CLASSICS - remade horribly. Hope FFX escapes this. Side note: Hope your channel survives as well. Copyright strikes have killed so many wonderful VGM channels.
When I was growing up, I watched my father play a lot of final fantasy/ RPG games because I was too young to read and understand what to do and my dad for read it all aloud. " We are gonna use this Ether, and cast Thundaga than our Bard is gonna play the Harp and Cure us." Fast forward ahead to FF10 and I was telling my dad all the attacks to use, places to go the characters back stories because my dad worked crazy amount of hours for his family and just couldn't keep up with what was going on in a video game and life too.
I love the share Jason, I remember watching my dad play it and being so invested in the story but would also not understanding the mechanics (sphere grid) to the point when I got to Lord Ochu on the way to the Kilika temple and being so young at the time attempting to follow my dads play through I had thought I would find the 'special' battle option/skill in one of the chests lol. Thinking back I find it really sweet and now, bittersweet with AP grinding every play through to complete the spheregrid and go for completionist content instead of the absolute joy of defeating Seymour at Gagazet and defeating sin before the insta-KO. Youthful ignorance is something I truly miss, echoing most- what I wouldn't give to experience these stories again for the first time.

Come here all the time. Ffx was the first time I was introduced to adult themes in games. I had played kingdom hearts as long I can remember but those themes are more general. The ffx themes gave me such a deep insight into what it means to be mature and a experience with emotions I hadn't touched as a child yet. And just this tune, it brings me back to time that is so far gone now. Truly beautiful.
This is my 1 year olds favorite song to listen to. Every time i put it on she immediately stops what shes doing and just sits there and listens you can tell it sooths her shell fall asleep to it sometimes as well. Amazing i remember playing this game when i was 12 and it still holds a connection with me and now a part of my family ❤
I'm 35 yrs old and a mother to 4 children ages 11, 9, 8 and 5... and I still play this game. My children are now sitting next to me for HOURS watching me play FFX. My girls get emotional about Tidus and Yuna and my son wants to kick Seymour's butt. My kids are feeling the emotions I felt when I played this game for the first time... such an amazing game. The characters, the story, the music. Love it so much!
Man I remember this game as if it was only yesterday that I played it I've never had such a strong connection to any other game and it makes me feel both happiness and joy, I wish I could play this game again for the very first time again and experience it all not knowing what would happen, I know this game has gotten me through some of if not the hardest parts of my life and finding this after so long has made my whole day thank you for uploading it with the video in the background the nostalgia is so unreal
I have, extreme trauma. It's left me to nothing but amnesia barriers. I guess this had helped me sleep after years of a bad sleep quality. I worked through a lot of it and I am now healing - the song grounds me during meltdowns. I got hyperfixated on FFX as well.

This song is a masterpiece. It reminds me of my good ol child days sitting there on my couch, crying like a baby and enjoying every detail, dialog, cutsceen or fight. Today it triggers those feelings and tears running over my face while hearing the theme and calm my baby daughter with that song. I'll try to show her this game once she gets older for sure.

My journey with the series started in the 90s on Super Nintendos Final Fantasy III (or FF VI when it was later released on PS1). Then it was Final Fantasy VII, VIII, IX and finally Xs turn. Haven't played the newest games but the series had a big impact on me as a child and as a young adult. Thank you very much from the upload. ❤️ I truly hope that it stays here.

This song holds a special place in my heart. 9 years ago I would watch my dad play this game and this was our song but mom had to cheat on dad and a divorce happened I had to stay with mom and that’s the way it’s been since then, now I’m just sad and depressed, longing for freedom from the pain that is “home” this song helps me feel something and it helps me sleep when I am awake at 2 in the morning just trapped in my bed with only my thoughts to keep me company. Day 155! I just got Lethal Company and played for 3.5 hours. I also started playing Trials of mana yesterday and have made significant progress. I met these cool guys on lethal company and had a lot of fun with them.
Lethal Company looks really fun but I am a huge scaredycat when it comes to even mild horror games (even the headcrabs in half-life terrify me), so I'll never actually play it!
Wow, hesdcrabs scare me when they jump at you when you can’t even see them but that surprising to me how scared you are (not that it’s bad or anything)

Madden, KH, and more ... This song brings me back to before I knew how he really felt, thinking everything would be okay when we grew up and everything would work itself out. Day 158. So yea. I will write that essay. For the first time I’m actually excited to write an essay. I’ll make time during class to write some bits and pieces. I’m going to make it as long as it can and or has to be, and I’ll write it in my true prospective. In this essay you’ll truly see how beautiful and valuable Square Enix is to me and how it made a big impact on my life as a whole. Be it gaming is a big part of me. Day 164… the essay might a bit off schedule. School got me on a tight leash. I might postpone it to day 200. But if I’m able to get it in before then I’ll do my best. Movies, purely because I think you can tell a better story over multiple episodes rather than a couple of hours. More space to move in. Though I'm sure there are plenty who would disagree because they don't have time to devote to a series or maybe it's been too drawn out!
Day 224. I was on the Minsk mission of borderlands 1 and my game crashed and I lost all my save files. But besides that. I stayed up late watching an anime “Shikimori’s not just a cutie” by its title you can tell it’s romance. It’s about these two high school students that love eachother a lot. The guy has very bad luck and the girl wants nothing but to protect him. They have a very heartfelt relationship and go out a lot and do fun things. At the end they went to a lovers amusement park and at the end had a very intimate moment on a boat ride. Kissed and cuddled. I’ve never felt so empty in my life…I’m genuinely sad as hell right now. I want a Shikimori.

Day 197, I was wrong, the release of ffvii rebirth will perfectly land on day 200. So that’s cool. Let’s skip a QOTD today and just recognize. Through 197 days we went from total strangers to idk if you’d say friends, that’s up to you. But you get what I mean. Day 239! I rapidly get into things. The only difference this time is in the start when I heard about Dune I had no clue what it was or what it was about. When I watched the 2021 movie (part 1) I was bored… very bored. Till the second half or so I got invested. Then I was itching to watch part 2. So I just felt how much I liked this one. It wasn’t forced or almost introduced like the others. It was just… interesting and I loved it. QOTD: Ask me a QOTD😁

7 through 9 were great stories, but 10 certainly set a new bar in how to utilise emotion, and the prologue is a great example of that. We just won't mention the laughter scene...
Day 100!!! In commemoration of the hundredth day be giving a full review of Final Fantasy X World building: The world building was janky in the start, seemed rushed. But over time you’ll start to understand why and how this world is the way it is. “Me? Uhh… I got to close to sims toxin”-Tidus. I’ll give the world building a 9/10 Characters: As far as it goes for main cast, we have the whole family. The bright one, the sad one, the dark one, mean, shady. So on. The characters fit with each other in a way I’ve never seem before. 10/10 Story: By far the best Final Fantasy story I’ve known. It was all so forced in the start but once you blend into it you feel like your tidus. It’s a very engaging story and always keeps you on edge till the end credits roll. 10/10 Combat/action: Not to far as a turn base game can go. Can get repetitive and at time you can just spam X and win a fight 7/10 Over all: 9/10 MASTERPIECE todays title is “Final Fantasy Among the Grey: Hundredth Storm”
I've heard surprisingly good things about FFBE, but also that it falls very much onto its gacha mechanics after a few chapters. Not bad for a free RPG though?
DAY 35!!! I’m unusually happy when increments of 5’s come into play. Anywho, ffx broke me again, like it did the first. The power final fantasy has to touch the heart. Pure and utter masterpieces. Todays game is “Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates” (for the Nintendo DS)
Day 24, you know you’re tired when you almost type “day 38” it’s official, I’m restarting and playing FFX again from start! Oh what a memorable game it is. Almost cried playing and it was just the casual start scenes… Todays final fantasy is “Final Fantasy IX”
Day 136. I’m highly enjoying my vr. It’s a lot to handle when you take it off after 5 hours but hell, it’s fun! But you know sometimes we have to live in the moment, not just in front of a screen. Sometimes you have to travel, go outdoors. Experience what life truly is outside of the man-made shell we’ve all created year by year. Life’s to short and precious to waste. To short to mess up. QOTD: Would you have ever expected a random person to show up on your comments the way I did?
VR makes me quite motion sick, unfortunately. Which is weird because I don't have any issues with motion sickness otherwise. AOTD: I sort of did, but not yet. A daily interaction with someone is something you see with far bigger TH-camrs for sure, it's just pure luck - good or bad, I'll let you decide 😅 - that you stumbled upon my channel as early as you did!
Day 114. I started NieR: Automata. And I was listening to the soundtrack. This one song “Fortress of Lies” brought me to tears. I hope you’d listen to it if you haven’t. It was enough to make me shed a couple tears. Todays character is: Kain (FF4)
Day 51! I can’t believe it, I was rummaging through old totes and boxes and I found a (In good condition) Lunar Silver Star Story Complete in ps1. It’s missing like one or two things but it’s in great shape and worth around $300… todays title is “Final Fantasy W.H.I.T.E [Zenodecium]”

Day 118! I’m a lot of a multitasker. I started making a board game. Is called Crusaders Cascade. It’s very complex but it has to do with adventuring and levelling, game master so on. Kinna like a more interactive runner dnd. Ehh, I’m in prototype phase so I can’t say it to good. I’m working with two other friends of mine to make it. (Props to them) just a side note. Being off what you said yesterday I realized that I’m in the big popular friend group that takes up majority of the JH boys. And only a fraction of the, I’m familiar with and only a fraction of the familiar’s I’m actually super close to. It helped alot with how I’ve felt less liked and more pushed away but in the end Im seeing it all differently. In a better prospective. Rather than attention seeking good looking guys I’m out for the fun. I’m the most not like the, but I still serve well for them. And I have a friend I’ve been friends with for 9 years that would never lie to me. He said that last year (the year I was most close to them) they didn’t like me. It’s funny how popular groups are now. It seems more like a colony than an actual “Friend” group. Where we are linked one guy is friends with one guy, the other is friends with one guy that the other isn’t friends with. Then it keeps growing and beef starts. It’s odd to say the least. Rather un-human. Or just… normal? I see in a bigger prospective, one of more reason rather than roster. But I’ve said enough by now. Hope this ain’t to much of a burden to read, I was just speaking my mind.
I'm glad that what I said was useful, and that it's helped to settle your mind a bit. So long as you keep yourself and your friends happy together them you know you'll have people around who want you to be happy too! It's hard to put into words, I just remember growing up through your teen years isn't an easy process sometimes, especially with all the hormones and stuff racing around... But it is what it is, and I reckon you'll find that everyone feels a similar way. It's just difficult to talk to people about it sometimes. I'm just a stranger on the Internet who doesn't really know what he's talking about though, and not a licensed therapist lmao...

@@JDubDotEXE It indeed would **NOT** be the same. There is great danger in remakes. The game is completely changed - new enemies, new characters, new story, new anything they want to throw in there. FFX remake would obliterate the game. Like FFVII remake. And Star Ocean 2 remake. Legendary JRPG's - CLASSICS - remade horribly. Hope FFX escapes this.
Side note: Hope your channel survives as well. Copyright strikes have killed so many wonderful VGM channels.
When I was growing up, I watched my father play a lot of final fantasy/ RPG games because I was too young to read and understand what to do and my dad for read it all aloud. " We are gonna use this Ether, and cast Thundaga than our Bard is gonna play the Harp and Cure us." Fast forward ahead to FF10 and I was telling my dad all the attacks to use, places to go the characters back stories because my dad worked crazy amount of hours for his family and just couldn't keep up with what was going on in a video game and life too.
This is a pretty wonderful story, father and son bonding over gaming!
I love the share Jason, I remember watching my dad play it and being so invested in the story but would also not understanding the mechanics (sphere grid) to the point when I got to Lord Ochu on the way to the Kilika temple and being so young at the time attempting to follow my dads play through I had thought I would find the 'special' battle option/skill in one of the chests lol. Thinking back I find it really sweet and now, bittersweet with AP grinding every play through to complete the spheregrid and go for completionist content instead of the absolute joy of defeating Seymour at Gagazet and defeating sin before the insta-KO. Youthful ignorance is something I truly miss, echoing most- what I wouldn't give to experience these stories again for the first time.
(2) My son is about to turn two years old and is becoming more and more interested in what i'm playing and i CANNOT WAIT to have an experience of guiding and watching him experience this for himself.
Come here all the time. Ffx was the first time I was introduced to adult themes in games. I had played kingdom hearts as long I can remember but those themes are more general. The ffx themes gave me such a deep insight into what it means to be mature and a experience with emotions I hadn't touched as a child yet. And just this tune, it brings me back to time that is so far gone now. Truly beautiful.

Every time i put it on she immediately stops what shes doing and just sits there and listens you can tell it sooths her shell fall asleep to it sometimes as well. I'm 35 yrs old and a mother to 4 children ages 11, 9, 8 and 5... and I still play this game. My children are now sitting next to me for HOURS watching me play FFX. My girls get emotional about Tidus and Yuna and my son wants to kick Seymour's butt. My kids are feeling the emotions I felt when I played this game for the first time... such an amazing game. The characters, the story, the music. Love it so much!

I think that too often the power of music 🎶 is critically underestimated. This comment section is proof of how powerfully it can affect our lives.
I have, extreme trauma. It's left me to nothing but amnesia barriers. I guess this had helped me sleep after years of a bad sleep quality. I worked through a lot of it and I am now healing - the song grounds me during meltdowns. I got hyperfixated on FFX as well.
Of all the things that might help I'm glad that music is one of them, and I am honoured that one of my videos in particular is a source of solace for you.

This song is a masterpiece. It reminds me of my good ol child days sitting there on my couch, crying like a baby and enjoying every detail, dialog, cutsceen or fight. Today it triggers those feelings and tears running over my face while hearing the theme and calm my baby daughter with that song. I'll try to show her this game once she gets older for sure.

Several years ago, I went to the Distant Worlds Final Fantasy concert. To Zanarkand alone was worth the price of admission.
I was lucky enough to attend an edition at the Royal Albert Hall in London, and I agree that version is fantastic!

My journey with the series started in the 90s on Super Nintendos Final Fantasy III (or FF VI when it was later released on PS1).
Then it was Final Fantasy VII, VIII, IX and finally Xs turn.
Haven't played the newest games but the series had a big impact on me as a child and as a young adult.

Day 155! I just got Lethal Company and played for 3.5 hours. I also started playing Trials of mana yesterday and have made significant progress. I met these cool guys on lethal company and had a lot of fun with them.
Lethal Company looks really fun but I am a huge scaredycat when it comes to even mild horror games (even the headcrabs in half-life terrify me), so I'll never actually play it!
Wow, hesdcrabs scare me when they jump at you when you can’t even see them but that surprising to me how scared you are (not that it’s bad or anything)
Day 12, I remember when I was playing FFX for the first time. When auron said that sin is jecht I was so shocked I leeped out of my chair. What an amazing memory it is looking back

My brother never really wanted a relationship with me and as soon as we turned adults he made that clear. But when we were kids we were kinda forced to see each other, and we would play games alot. Madden, KH, and more ... This song brings me back to before I knew how he really felt, thinking everything would be okay when we grew up and everything would work itself out. Remember to focus on the future boys, past dwelling isn't healthy ... I'll have to turn this off
Just remember that it might not be too late to try and turn that relationship around, if that's something you want to do. At the very worst you can at least say you tried.

I’m going to make it as long as it can and or has to be, and I’ll write it in my true prospective. Square was single handed my able to take over all my lives for gaming and dump 90% of all that love on just square Enix.

Is it just me (it’s not) or is music just a whole new world. The unbeaten feeling of plugging in your earphones and walking down a street at night listening to you favourite music is just… amazing. I’ve always loved music, always will.

Day 224. I was on the Minsk mission of borderlands 1 and my game crashed and I lost all my save files. But besides that.
I stayed up late watching an anime “Shikimori’s not just a cutie” by its title you can tell it’s romance. It’s about these two high school students that love eachother a lot. The guy has very bad luck and the girl wants nothing but to protect him. They have a very heartfelt relationship and go out a lot and do fun things. At the end they went to a lovers amusement park and at the end had a very intimate moment on a boat ride. Kissed and cuddled.
I’ve never felt so empty in my life…I’m genuinely sad as hell right now. I want a Shikimori.

I rapidly get into things. The only difference this time is in the start when I heard about Dune I had no clue what it was or what it was about. When I watched the 2021 movie (part 1) I was bored… very bored. Till the second half or so I got invested. Then I was itching to watch part 2. So I just felt how much I liked this one. It wasn’t forced or almost introduced like the others. It was just… interesting and I loved it.

probably the best prologue I seen in a RPG really set you in the mood to play the game
7 through 9 were great stories, but 10 certainly set a new bar in how to utilise emotion, and the prologue is a great example of that.

Day 100!!! In commemoration of the hundredth day be giving a full review of Final Fantasy X
World building:
The world building was janky in the start, seemed rushed. But over time you’ll start to understand why and how this world is the way it is. “Me? Uhh… I got to close to sims toxin”-Tidus. I’ll give the world building a 9/10
Characters:
As far as it goes for main cast, we have the whole family. The bright one, the sad one, the dark one, mean, shady. So on. The characters fit with each other in a way I’ve never seem before. 10/10
Story:
By far the best Final Fantasy story I’ve known. It was all so forced in the start but once you blend into it you feel like your tidus. It’s a very engaging story and always keeps you on edge till the end credits roll. 10/10
Combat/action:
Not to far as a turn base game can go. Can get repetitive and at time you can just spam X and win a fight 7/10
Over all: 9/10 MASTERPIECE

I really liked the sense of despair this OST imparted. The last memorable FF for me.
There's a couple of tracks in FF7 that hit a similar spot, but 10 has so much emotion in it.

I recommend checking out the Bezlebub mod for some good quality of life fixes, but it does make the game harder overall as well... $8 is a bargain!

I was just sitting in class. Making final fantasy timelines for my friend that want to get into it this all good. I look up at the board and see… BLOOKET yippy. So I decided what better to name myself than “Cecil Harvey” and my teachers favourite game is FFIV. I got second place. First place was Cloud Strife (not kidding)

Human Revolution is probably one of my favourite games of all time. The original can be seriously broken at times though, so if you ever do want to play it then I recommend the Director's Cut!

I actually had the opportunity to play this song for the Spring Concert in my high school🙌🏾 afterwards, I started learning a bunch of anime music: Inuyasha, Aldnoah Zero, Bleach, Zelda, etc.. there’s sooo much! I’ve always wanted to start a channel here but there’s already so much amazing people here already
You should do it anyway! Don't judge yourself against those who are already established, if you've got talent and ability then you should share that with others!
Day 36! I’ve been stuck in Diablo recently. Can’t… escape. Ahh. But one thing is for sure. Final Fantasy is always 🔛🔝 todays FF is “Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis” (coming out on mobile)

Day 130. I straight up just skipped my rock band class cuz I didn’t wanna do it. And uhh. Brought a Godzilla figure to school and had it on my desk in every class. Got a few laughs from friends and teachers. OH I got back into Smite. I figured since I loved it a couple months back I should get back into it. I got the ultimate hero pack so I have every character. And I’m back playing. It’s a fun game is you’ve never heard of it before. It’s free to play I recommend you give it a try. Day 118! I’m a lot of a multitasker. I started making a board game. Is called Crusaders Cascade. It’s very complex but it has to do with adventuring and levelling, game master so on. Kinna like a more interactive runner dnd. Ehh, I’m in prototype phase so I can’t say it to good. I’m working with two other friends of mine to make it. (Props to them) just a side note. Being off what you said yesterday I realized that I’m in the big popular friend group that takes up majority of the JH boys. And only a fraction of the, I’m familiar with and only a fraction of the familiar’s I’m actually super close to. It helped alot with how I’ve felt less liked and more pushed away but in the end Im seeing it all differently. In a better prospective. Rather than attention seeking good looking guys I’m out for the fun. I’m the most not like the, but I still serve well for them. And I have a friend I’ve been friends with for 9 years that would never lie to me. He said that last year (the year I was most close to them) they didn’t like me. It’s funny how popular groups are now. It seems more like a colony than an actual “Friend” group. Where we are linked one guy is friends with one guy, the other is friends with one guy that the other isn’t friends with. Then it keeps growing and beef starts. It’s odd to say the least. Rather un-human. Or just… normal? I see in a bigger prospective, one of more reason rather than roster. But I’ve said enough by now. Hope this ain’t to much of a burden to read, I was just speaking my mind.
I'm glad that what I said was useful, and that it's helped to settle your mind a bit. So long as you keep yourself and your friends happy together them you know you'll have people around who want you to be happy too! It's hard to put into words, I just remember growing up through your teen years isn't an easy process sometimes, especially with all the hormones and stuff racing around... But it is what it is, and I reckon you'll find that everyone feels a similar way. It's just difficult to talk to people about it sometimes. I'm just a stranger on the Internet who doesn't really know what he's talking about though, and not a licensed therapist lmao...
