Ultra-Rare 1,000 HP 1961 Ford Starliner hot rod with Danny Schaffer

Bakersfield has a large amount of hot rods. Danny Schaffer probably has one of the best collections around. This 1961 Ford Starliner was only in production one year. They built it to compete in NASCAR. Danny has taken this rare car and made it top of it's class. There's probably no Ford Starliner out there better.

This car could very well be the finest quality STARLINER in the country. A "Super-Trick" achievement for certain. Blue oval superiority under the hood. Beautiful car.

My Gramps in Port Orchard Washington had one in the early 1960's. I like the 61's best because they have the Galaxie signature round taillights.

Only made 61 Starliners in 61 but also Starliners were made in 1960. Like the 61 better, seems to bit a smaller than the 60.

Beautiful car.
They did make the Starliner in 1960 but the 71 is the more beautiful model.

@@raywilliams1477I would say that they are very custom, because I owned a 1961 Starliner and they were nothing as nicely done as those! Originally there was a thumb push mechanism

the interior is beautiful . The owner did a first rate job everywhere. If you want stock fine. I will take a restomod like this any day of the week.
