    This is from Title Match Network's exclusive new series with the legendary Greg Valentine.
    Hammer talks about working with the legendary British Bulldogs, well before they ever feuded in Vince McMahon's World Wrestling Federation.
    Greg says Dynamite Kid was a legit superstar in Japan. The two would cross paths for years to come as the Dream Team (Greg Valentine & Brutus Beefcake) and the British Bulldogs produced one of the most historic WWF tag team rivalries of all time.

    Back in the day people were wrestlers and they believed wrestling was as far as they would go. Today people use wrestling as a way to get noticed and maybe develop an acting career or something else. Wrestling is not their primary concern, and the Industry suffers for it.

    Who was Hammers tag partner during the time he's speaking about in the video when he was selling out shows wrestling the British Bulldogs? Around the era of Mania II and Saturday Night Mainevent, which was like 1986? Was his tag partner Paul Orndorff, or was Greg apart of the Dream Team w/ Brutus Beefcake at that point?

    • @TitleMatchWrestling
      @TitleMatchWrestling  2 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      Great question. Greg was part of the Dream Team with Brutus Beefcake around that time. They had many sellouts vs the Bulldogs on SNME, WM2, The Big Event and house shows.

    The brand wwf could sell out throughout the 80s but to be fair we didn’t even know who would be wrestling for sure, vince was clever not to advertise those card to thoroughly as so people would pay for a ticket without knowing who wouldn’t be there.

    He’s the only person who’s ever said nice things about George Scott. I like Jim Cornette but we’re in danger of having his opinions becoming viewed as absolute gospel instead of his opinion or perspective.

    • @Rjensen2
      @Rjensen2 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah, well, Dusty Rhodes trashed him too. It wasn't just Cornette
      And Cornette explained fully what the issues were with Scott. He just let the guys do what they wanted in their programs and just oversaw it. That's why most of the guys who worked for him liked him. At best, he was lazy and at his worst was incompetent.

    None of the new guys or the IWC Darlings understand wrestling psychology, they're all too obsessed with trying to emulate HBK and his superkick, effectively killing that moves impact, and without any of Michaels' in-ring psychology. What made me laugh was that I once watched Montez Ford get his eyes raked by the heel, instead of selling right away, he makes a stupid looking face at the cameraman, giving the dumbest delayed reaction of about five seconds and begins selling his mouth...as if the heel raked his lips, when it was blatantly clear that his eyes were raked. "The Future Shawn Michaels" my A$$!
