- What is the nature of aging? Why do women live longer than men? How is it possible that mitochondria have their own DNA? How can we end aging? Which diseases constrain longer lifespan, and how can we increase it?
The collection delves into the causes, consequences, and potential cures for aging, a topic of growing importance as the global population ages. Lectures on biomarkers of aging, molecular causes of aging, mitochondrial genetics, and genomics of long-lived mammals provide an understanding of the cellular and genetic mechanisms that underlie aging.
The lectures were filmed from 2014 to 2020. If you have any questions or comments on the content, please email us at hello@serious-science.org.

if you prevent the causes of the disease of aging you will not age but what about development of an organism. When does development and aging become separate processes.
