Wa-Alaikum-Salaam. I am an Electronics Engineer of many years fault finding. One of my specialities is SMPS and this video is the best of its kind on the internet. Very comprehensive and informative. Thank you for imparting your knowledge to others in such an easy to understand format.
This is my first time seeing your video/channel and I have to tell you I am very glad I came across it. I have seen other channels on electronics repair but you stand out. You put the word "teach" in "teacher" you have the right formula for teaching, you are very easy to follow, understand, knowledgeable, you demonstrate very well and are not boring! You are a gift to us all and I'm sure I speak for all we are fortunate to have you dedicate your time and effort to have you do this for us. Thank you!
I think really I am fortunate to get a technical teacher like You, how I convey my regards to You, God knows, really as per words right now I become capable to repair the SMPS, Sir one more request for PFC Power supply, if possible kindly upload a video of PFC Power supply, like this video , thanks a lot with regards

سلام علیکم و رحمه الله و برکاته.. Hello ... Your training as a Muslim brother is a source of pride. I benefited from your training. Good luck bye . 👍🏼🤝🏽🤲🏼
Hello dear hasseb thanks bro for all your advices, I'm biomedical engineer from Morocco I appreciate your work, in my daily work the most problem I find in medical devices: power supply
I'm working now on a power supply of medical lamps input 24vAC/24vdc output, there's no output I checked all components , even flayback ics I changed 1252A ( primary ) ic and 4303A (secondary)ics and MOSFET too but no output in pin 6 (Drv pin for 1252A ic)
Many thanks for this excellent informative video, and sincerely instrumental in providing immense better understanding of the systematic breakdown for fault diagnosis! I greatly appreciate the video diagnostic presentation was exceptional from start to finish including the specifically identified test points and polarity, and the concise detail of the expected test result and in depth attributing fault factors or the secondary outcome by a specific fault. I myself was working on lawnmower 120VAC/24VDC charger no output @ primary transformer. On this charger JSC-1056A in lieu of UC3842 (by your application), this charger has has Texas Inst. 28600D controller on the Hot (primary) and dual LM258N Op Amps on the secondary. No surprise your presentation is near exact similarly bang on in layout. My fault specifically falls at open "T1 input and as you called it; the finding was "shorted diode" D1 , Resistor R11 @ tests high in circuit (spec..27ohm). Whereas resistor R3 tests "shorted" @ 46k ohms expecting spec. @ 420 M ohms (Q1) Mosfet SSS7N60B tests good in or out of circuit but.... I found; "what looks like" carbon diode identified on PCB as "RB1" in series with mosfet "drain" to T1 transformer unfortunately it does not have any visible markings and appears shorted along with indicators of overheat on PCB. Both diodes on T1, T3 primary "hot" thus I suspect controller is presumably dead though Input portion including Bridge AC/DC tests normal and all diodes test okay. Is schematic layout reference "RB" like a carbon scrubber resistor??? The problem with this board layout they utilize both glass, and standard diodes and also alternating smd or through hole diodes. The RB1 with no markings although it's carbon and look like diode; it has "O" resistance, no polarity indicator or markings thus it's guess it is only intended as scrubber but the focus I suppose should be diodes, resistors at T1, T3 since mosfet gate signal source signal appears correct @ 160v, likewise at Main Cap (-). again many thanks!

good evening, thank you in advance for all the courses and indications you published to help people understand how the electronic cards work, my problem and as you explained is in the power supply of the relay resistor to get the 220ac to the rectifier bridge, the resistance takes the line from the zener diode which in turn is connected to an ic....thanks in advance for everything
