    very useful summary. on the trust car there's the added benefit of using overseas spend to hit the minimum monthly and quarterly thresholds for turbo-charging linkpoints on fairprice grocery spend.

    By the way, when you use your Trust card for shopping in Japan, for example Uniqlo, the POS terminal has 2 options, right?
    Which exchanges options should I choose?

    Hi Demi, just wondering if you know which card would be the best for use in UK? Was told that my typical DBS and OCBC Debit card works but there's DCC fee according to your video. I don't own any of the cards your mentioned but would not mind signing up. Thanks in advance!

    hmm, so instarem rates are more competitive for online spending in foreign currency, but not for overseas spending itself? is that correct?

    Hi Demi ! Thumbs up really informative video.
    i've a question, i'm a malaysian, but i'm just looking to use between the 4 travel cards that you suggested just now.
    May i know which you recommend and is it possible to pay for public transport (MRT/Bus instead of using ezlink card) and to pay for food/entertainment in sg ?

    When you make a savings account with Trust, is there a minimum balance you need to have in that account? You can't have $0?

    Hi Demi, i have the Trust card but i think its the credit card. Dont think i have the debit card. You mentioned ATM withdrawal overseas. So if i use the trust bank credit card, there will be fee? You mentioned using Debit dont have so which means using trust bank credit card have withdrawal fee then? So its wiser that i change money with money changer before i travel overseas if i have only Trusts credit card?

      Why don't you consider opening a savings account with Trust bank? That will unlock the debit function on your card, and there are no fees or charges to open and maintain the savings account. It will provide you an additional safety net when travelling overseas, since you can fall back on withdrawing cash from the local ATMs if you are not keen on bringing too much cash or if you run out of cash.

    Noticed most of the sg TH-camrs do not talk much about Revolut, did notice you mention Revolut is not the top 4 but no reason given. I’m using Revolut, they have competitive rates and more currency can store in wallet. Can I know why Revolut is not recommended? The down side.. is it no sponsor or affiliate link from them? 😅

    • @DemiZhuang
      @DemiZhuang  ปีที่แล้ว

      No eh haha more like its complicated + i remember the rates not being as competitive too. They do have a referral programme that is not bad from what i remember.
