    Thank you for your research. You forgot to include an important factor though. How to top up these accounts. 1 card can get the 1% cashback which you always talk about on your channel. The lowest Revolut charge is 0.3%, which still makes for a 0.7% cashback if you have another Visa DC that you can top up with CC for free(I know of 1 by the way).

      if you're talking about HSBC Everyday rewards programme, it's one of the excluded transactions though. haha if you're gracious enough, you can share with the community the way you know.

    Which bank’s ATM do you use in Jeju? What’s the fees? Do you find that cash is more often used than card?

    hello, thanks for the details. just wondering, does this only apply to withdrawal or does it also apply to payments (ie using this card to pay)?

    • @DemiZhuang
      @DemiZhuang  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Payment sometimes Instarem can be good too. But not the method of pairing with a credit card. Top up and use the rates can be good too. Besides that, Revolut comes next then wise and youtrip. Comparable.

    When doing atm withdrawal using Trust in country (i.e. In Japan), do we select withdrawal in "JPY" or "Local currency" to prevent bank from performing an "additional conversion"?
    Also will there be any different between international atm and local atm?

    • @DemiZhuang
      @DemiZhuang  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      hello, i tried it in japan didnt get the option to choose. Local ATMs in korea don't let you use overseas card to withdraw so I'd have to go to one that says it allows for international cards.

    Hello,
    So if I’m using youtrip in Japan for withdrawal. I can preload the yen and withdraw from atm would be possible right? How then do they determine you have hit the $400 sgd withdrawal limit? According to the price I’ve locked in when I changed sgd to yen with youtrip?

    • @DemiZhuang
      @DemiZhuang  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes you can. Based on the price you've locked in yes.
