Is booking of train for europe considered travel-related expenses if i use Citi Rewards credit card?
Hi Kelvin, wanted to ask about the linking of GPAY to amaze/citi rewards, if I tap using countactless GPAY, does it still count as an online transaction and 4mpd? I am currently waiting fr my physical amaze card to come.

The spread is much higher nowadays. I was just in Japan and the spread was in fact 2.2%

Thanks for the info. I just applied for the card. If I link the card to citi rewards and spend in restaurants and shops in overseas, will the 4 miles apply since this is not online spending?

The new Amaze card (vertical design and pastel colours) looks aesthetically pleasing. If you are one those rare group of people (like me) who choose cards based on their appearance, you'll like Amaze card as well.
I don't, because appearance (especially of a card) is subjective. And if it gives me 4mpd, then it gives me 4mpd, no matter how ugly it is haha

Good and fine. Earns 4mpd for travel. But it can't be linked with amaze.
HSBC Revolution is good, just don't use it for foreign currency spends
Have you redeemed the points before? I haven't tried it but I don't know if it help offsets a bill, or I can transfer that cash out to my bank account

Yup. As long as u spend with the Amaze card, you'll qualify for the 10x. 1 exception is restaurant in hotel spends, because Citi Rewards excludes travel related (including hotel) transactions

Citi Rewards more for ppl who prefer miles. Not necessarily better
