Nancy Wilson made a surprise appearance and joined Ann Wilson & Tripsitter to perform Heart's classic "Barracuda" at the Luther Burbank Center in Santa Rosa, California on October 10th, 2023
So freakin' nice to see them on stage together. They are the best - hands down. Thanks for posting this.
Did they have a fall ending out and stop performing as Heart?
@@Ron_Masterjohna few years ago but they made up since
@@Ron_Masterjohn I don't know the story, but from what I heard on the radio last week, they have reunited and are going on tour.
@@Ron_Masterjohnyes Ann’s husband beat up Nancy teenage sons while they were on stage In 2016. He got arrested and was thrown in jail
Nancy always brings it no matter how many years go by.
Wow! Nancy on fire! She connected so well with Ann's band! I love her!
Don't want my last image of Ann and Nancy to be with the Tripsitters or Nancy Wilson's Heart. They belong together. It'd be great to have Howard Leese back with them for one last hurrah.
Roger Fisher needs to come back
Pokerface8242 Yes!
@@theresalux8185 Roger definitely wants it. With just one call from Nancy, he would run away with his guitar.
Roger Fisher needs to be there too!!
And this is so incredible to see them on stage together! I hope Nancy also plays at the upcoming Seattle show. That would be amazing.❤❤
Awesome, Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart ❤️. Two sisters I grew up admiring 🙌🏻🍁👏🏻
The fact that Nancy still looks that damn good...
At 69 in that video
When they started harmonizing their vocals... 😍
Well, she didn’t play with Ann in Seattle with Tripsitter, but they’re both playing as Heart in Seattle on New Year’s Eve and I will be there. I am so stoked. ❤❤❤
Absolutely ! I would love to see just the two of them one more time
I have an older DVD of them "Love Alive" just them and it's one of my favorite. I have seen them in concert a few times and have a collection of their DVDs plus I seen them many years ago at summit park back when they had the old setup and I got they're really early and I was right up by the stage that's where I got one of Nancy's guitar picks I made it to a necklace it's awesome
The queens of Rock for ever and ever!! Nancy is still stunningly beautiful
LOVE them so very much!!!
Simply put.. Wow ❤
Oh....and thank you so much for sharing this 🕊🤍
Ive listened to this 4 times now. If she’s going to do a final concert with heart, then it better be better than this.
Just great music!!! Welcome back!!!❤
They're back! ❤❤
Great to see those sisters together beautiful.
Yes! This just made my life! Thank you for posting this
That was Grrrreat!! Thank You Very Much!!!
Love these two!! Still holding out for that 50th show!! ❤❤
@@flazjsg nope, they came through as on 12/31 they will be playing in Seattle and I scored a ticket! ❤️
Oh how i miss those harmonies! 🥺
Love Heart! Looking forward to seeing them in Birmingham, AL! YAY!
Ty for posting this !!!!! Was Ann ok? Did she seem confused , or am I missing something., ty again “ my favorite band !!!
FANTASTIC!!
No one can compare to these two. Enjoy them while they are still here.
One is 200 lbs lighter 🤷♂️
Two of the best and darn awesome for their age.
Thanks for sharing. I love these ladies.
Love theses ladies ❤all time Rock stars
Wow fantastic! Bury the hatchet ladies!
Stunning talented women
Ann's voice has really lost the power it used to have.
go see Ann Wilson on her FIRST DATE OF THE TOUR before her voice is tired. The difference is INSANE.
I agree -- if you check the early concerts from this tour, she was doing much better. Then something happened to her voice..
@@oldschoolgay she said on instagram she was sick and she also fell on tour pretty bad. I think it was hard for her to recover with her schedule and no rest. Yet she never canceled a date. A badass
Love em all 4 ever ❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊❤
The Wilson sisters true legends.
Awwe. Her voice is nearly shot. The greatest women's rock voice ever. Time is a ravenous motherf$%^er.
I agree. No point in saying great performance when it wasnt
@@SueNeal-tb4qt i dont know but maybe paul stanleys voice is more shot, and Ann is 2 years older than Paul
I listened to this again with eyes closed and I’m still saying she could barely hit any of those notes. I’m a vocalist myself and I’ve come back to it after 14 years and I’ve had to lower keys to 2 songs I used to do. Time takes it’s toll and I believe if she’d lowered the key she might feel more comfortable than struggling through her power numbers which includes “Crazy for you” too. It’s hard to see her struggle and I’d hate people to walk from her concerts now and say how bad it was.
@@SueNeal-tb4qt i totally agree on the key lowering, i too am a singer and i understand the pain of singing too high. But Ann commented the key thing years back, that different keys makes the song completely different, and I agree on that too.
@@SueNeal-tb4qt Agreed. I just heard Robert Plant do Stairway, and he couldn't do it. All the higher notes he'd drop an octave to be on pitch. Time catches us all.
I'm tearing up. I have been a fan of Heart since Dreamboat Annie and for those who think that Heart came out in the 80's Dreamboat Annie came out in 1975. My brother bought the record and i was hooked. My fav song was Magic man. The vocal range was incredible. It's not Heart without the Wilson sisters
Dog and the Butterfly - that's the album tour I saw in Pittsburgh PA with some new guy with one hit on the radio opening for them, his name was John Cougar. Heart put on a kick ass show. Anytime those girls are willing to get on stage I'm willing to be in the audience. :)
ROCKS 💯🌟
❤️History. Thanks for posting your angle . 👁👁 looking to see myself
still sound great ~
Ann yes!!!!
oh no say it aint so... cant hit the highs?
The Greatest HE/SHE ROCK singer in history. Today, tomorrow, and yesterday. Sill the best at 73 years old. Sorry dudes! She is better today than when you were young.
Reply
Nancy still has that energy!! ANN seemed tired and she looked not so interested...
Or then Ann is getting old, and the song is too high.
Maybe keep in mind Ann is doing 50 shows til mid december at 73. I find that quiet impressive. She is doing an insane amount of work. The 5 shows I saw her she was happy, smiled a lot and her voice sounded so so strong😊.
@@saskiaschankat7178 True! Many others could not. I'm sad I can't see Ann, because she has never had a concert in my country.
What country are you from? I am from Germany and flew to the USA to see her and it was awesome! During so many songs she sounded nothing short of amazing! Blew my mind! Yes, she is getting older but at this point she sounds spektacular and seems so so happy to be on stage.
@@saskiaschankat7178 Finland. I would love to go to usa to see her and Nancy's concert, but I cant afford it.
It seems to me that Ann is struggling vocally !!!😢😢
She still sounds good for her age. Her voice cracks a few times here.
DAMN! I SAID DAMN I SAID DAMN !!!
Ann seemed tired. She hit those notes for so long. Time catches us all.
nice to see you
Ann was in SD a few weeks ago and couldn’t sellout a 1400 seat, outdoor venue, near the bay, at sunset for $47.50 per ticket. She has a diva complex, shows disdain for Nancy which is on full display here. This is $ grab gig. Ann needs cash to keep up her lavish lifestyle. Any good mixer/producer would tell her play down a key or two (D or D#), as her highs are gone. Salvage her voice for one last Heart tour.
I can’t know the personal details but here in this video ANN doesn’t seem right. Physically and or psychologically????
She was slooowed down when acknowledging her sister., and could barely raise her arms at the end. Plus , I think this band ( the boys) are bored …. Luv Heart ❤️., but I don’t want her dead from doing gigs!!!
Dang, I recently saw Ann with the tripsetters, would have much rather seen her performing with Nancy again instead 😓 sooo much better those two together again
It's like watching Rosanne and Patsy Stone!!😮
Ok she’s 73 so kudos!
I hate to say it .. they aren’t sounding good but happy to see them together
Fire this man!!!!!
I have no idea why they don't drop the songs down 2 steps so Ann can sing the songs. Her body is different now than when she was in her 20s. The body changes so you Change the Key! Crazy on You was pathetic, she couldn't sing any of it. Plus she is straining her voice to do what little she does. It is not that big a deal to change the keys. The Guitar players can plug into an electronic unit that changes the Key automatically and instantly. It is called a Pitch Fork by electro harmonix. They set it to drop everything down and the play just like they always do. It is automatic. It works great. I love Ann and her music but everyone can see she is not having any fun having to strain her voice like that.
I’ve made comments saying the same thing. No shame in changing keys. I’m back singing and I’ve had to do it. She looks awkward and tired with no energy. Time to retire rather than be remembered for how bad it was.
agree.. recently saw Dominic Miller interview with Rick Beato in which he said Sting drops down a step every decade.. God it is natural and there is no shame in doing so.
No shame at all. It’s unfortunate she can’t reach those notes but it’s sad watching her try 🥲 Pat Benatar did wuthering heights at a concert and she changed the key. Still sounded great. No shame.
It really is unbelievable. It's like a total no Brainer! Sting is a Very Smart Cat. Brilliant song writer and performer.
And he takes care of his body...yoga, diet, etc. And the fact that he does that ought to be a lesson to all singers all musicians. When Zepplen did their big concert reunion gig years ago all the songs were lowered 2 steps (or more) and did anybody notice? Was anybody angry? Did anybody think Plant didn't sing good? Heck No! Everyone loved it!
Man she can still rock that voice!!
Ah no she can’t
Time for a hearing test.
Sylvan Song-Dream of the Archer. Nancy proves that she is all alone as best female vocalist in rock.
Sorry I got that wrong. I meant Ann. Old age I guess.
Heart is back?🙏
I saw them in 84 but would have loved to see them with Roger Fischer before that. I was too young. Excellent music and vocals BEFORE. The end has come for Ann’s vocals. I cringe hearing my favorites like this. My heart hurt hearing Lindsey Buckingham trying to sing. The same for Steve Walsh of Kansas before he retired. There are so many other of my favorites that should just give it that last tour with as many original members as possible and retire. Since Nancy is a guitarist, she can continue. It’s the singers that just can’t do it anymore. I know some of you love your favorite band so much that you’re willing to listen to singing like that but I can’t bear it I cringe. It mentally and physically hurts me.
I hear you. Some vocalists have been luckier than others. Tommy Shaw is 70 or 71, and still nailing it with Styx. Dennis DeYoung left the road in 2020 (pandemic related). I saw him in February of that year. He had just turned 73, and was still hitting nearly everything in the original key. You're right though. It's sad to see how much Lou Gramm, Steve Walsh, and even Paul Stanley have lost. It's not a stab at any of them, it's just a part of the aging process.
I agree best to retire in your prime, not when you can’t perform as you once could.
@@SueNeal-tb4qt Not quite. Not retire in your prime because less than prime is still very many good singing years, just not “prime “ sounding. It’s when like 10% or more of the vocals are sounding bad.
Ok I agree with that but this performance is not good and she can’t hit any of these high notes anymore so it’s time to retire before it’s more embarrassing for her.
Lord have mercy
Shit this was just the other day!!!!
😢
10 ann ja Nancy Wilson kaksi kovinta rokki mummoa. 1😂😂😂😂😂
Love the way Nancy went into The immigrant Song lol.
Her voice cracks a few times here. Very dangerous for a vocalists voice. Does she sound good for her age, HELL YEAH!
She has to save her voice for the Heart reunion on New Year's Eve 😁
Didn’t feel right they need to get back together for real Their up there in age stop wasting time and get the real feeling back that felt awkward to watch you guys are great forget the stupid thing Separate bands Just get together for real and permanently
I love the Wilson sisters, glad they have somewhat reconciled, but I was not happy to hear at least this show, Ann is not hitting those astounding notes. I have heard them many times, worked concerts back in the day, and either Ann needs to get her voice back in shape or consider retiring. That said, of course Ann on a bad day is better than 95% of so-called stars today. But for example, the astounding lead singer of Journey, Steve Perry, knew he had to hang it up and he did in fact retire. The voice does not lie.
Ann's voice is amazing and one of the best, but in this song it didn't hit the high notes like before, maybe she was sick or tired. I like to see Nancy joining her sister and i hope if they make an album together.
I mean, she’s in her 70’s…
Do you think Nancy being there was planned or a surprise?
I think Ann looked confused and slow in the moment. Why do I have a feeling a manager or someone called Nancy in - it seemed weird - like Nancy was approaching her cuz ANN was confused…… she is extremely overweight : maybe too much for her heart : Something is off . Never mind the singing , it’s something else. Is she depressed???
@@beansrgd I’m concerned about her health. She is having to sit down a lot while singing and is being helped onto the stage in the wings
She is 73 and when I saw her in FL, her voice was amazing. I hope to look as greatas Ann when I am 73!@@btpuppy2
These ladies are old enough to be my mother and I'm close to 50 hurry up with the original line up reunion tour before you go to nursing home
Healing between them? 🙏
They didn't separate, they were doing their solo things
they got in a fight @@kukkahatturämpyttää
@@fylarcrockley1107 in 2016. They solved it and did the Love Alive tour in 2019
And The Fish?
Kinda seemed like Nancy wants to get along with Ann but Ann didn't seem excited to see her on stage
You can tell this from a single concert video? 😂
Nobody's going to mention the false start with 3 seconds of Immigrant Song? Not sure if Nancy was pranking her sister with that gag, or pranking the audience... it was a fun tease though :)
She was. 😊
Ann looks less then thrilled shes there. Pretty sad if you ask me.
There is something off about the way the drummer is playing this .
Let's give props to Nancy. It's sad that female guitarists are seen as a after thought in rock. Nancy is a great guitarist & better then most of her celebrated male contemparies.
The voice ages with the person and Ann no longer reaches those notes. Nancy's voice has also aged, but since she has developed mostly as a guitarist and songwriter, she can continue to do so. Ann knows that she has problems with Heart's repertoire, and I think that's the real reason she's been avoiding it, with her new band, she plays new songs of hers that are already written for her current register.
What a legend..hope pink doesn't sing this one again
Ann is 73, give her a break!! She still sings decent for her age. Mariah is 20-something years younger and can still hit high notes but not without struggling.
thought they were fighting
They had some family issues in 2016. They got past it and reunited for the Love Alive Tour in 2019. Since then, they have just been doing their own things, like they have before. I’ve recently heard that they are collaborating on some new music, which will hopefully lead to a new tour!
Video was good however the sound was terrible.
Time to retire
The rest of the band isn't very impressive
Cool Peace Love RFS Israel *.
I dont find Ann sounding so terrible as the Real Music Observer made it seem. Sure, its not the Ann of yesterday, but she sounds good enough. Remember its live rock music, its never gonna sound like on the record!
Good enough? If people are paying for this, good enough isn’t what they should be getting. I’d want my money back
@SueNeal-tb4qt Fair enough, remember this is a 70-ish year old singer. That's why I never go to see legacy acts anymore. Christopher Cross was in my town last week, and even though they say it was a good show, I certainly did NOT want to fork over 120 dollars to see a has been act that was hot only from 1980 to 1983.
I’m back singing after 14 years. I’m now 69 years. We’re only a 4 piece and I’ve lowered keys for two songs I used to do. If I thought I wasn’t up to scratch, I wouldn’t want to do it and expect to get paid and hoped people would be honest enough to tell me so. But thanks to good comments we have a few gigs this December 2023. So I’m thrilled to be back
I agree with Real Music Observer.
NOT tha best performance...
I think Ann is drunk or dosed ...never seen her on that condition. And she really did not fancy Nancy seems to me. Sorry about my comment but this is sad to see
Agree this actually made me sad that Ann spoke more than she sang. I don’t want to remember them like this 😢
Maybe age???
Ann is done. Nancy is still viable.
This performance is not good. Those vocals arn’t there anymore. Anne can’t get those high notes. Wasn’t impressed
Ann can't hit the high notes anymore but she used to sing great.
How sad...this is not the Ann of old --- maybe it's time to call it a day. Or at the very least, do songs you can actually still sing??
