As a plumber of over 20+ years ….i commend you for addressing the leak in that old building…..you sir are a stand up man!!!……hopefully the old man lets you get hands on those cool old rigs in that yard….those old cab overs are definitely a dying breed!!!
It's not procrastination. It is analysis paralysis or at least hesitation. You want every variable, option, function known and worked out before beginning the project. Like putting a coil of copper tubing to cool the air out of the compressor in the Tundra. It is that attention to details that makes your shop very functional (and ever improving), your troubleshooting skills great, and your videos entertaining and informative. Great work Chris. Can't wait to see how the injector works out.
From Canada here, absolutely addicted to your videos. The content is so different, you never know what you’re going to get… and i love that. Keep up the content Chris.
If I had that Grand Marquis, I would address the rust & undercoat it immediately, polish it, wax it & enjoy it!!! I am in love with that Grand Marquis!
After watching the Chevy tow truck vid, this man influenced me to work on my grandad's 1972 Oldsmobile Toronado. I even got it up and running. Happy new years Chris
Man, what a gem of a car! They don't make em like that anymore...I like the burnout at the end!! Glad Jen liked it, should would look cool driving that all dressed up! I assume it will sell quick. How do you deal with the rift raft of dorks on Marketplace?? I know they are a pain in the ass but maybe of only cheaper items.
@1:43 - You're a procrastinator?? That is the absolute LAST thing I expected you to say. You seem so very driven and energetic. I used to over-think projects a lot. I'm a recovering perfectionist. Once I got over that hurdle, life became a lot easier.
A little tip, just the tip, and only for a minute: *Mustie1* undercoating.... I've used it on multiple occasions to keep the jalopies together (and a few decent rigs also) The directions: You mix a gallon of Bar&Chain oil into a metal bucket with 2-3 wax toilet bowl rings. You then heat the bucket using a hot plate if you got one, or stick it near a Chinese diesel heater or Mr Buddy until the "sauce" is around 150-200 degrees and the wax rings are melted. You should prep the intended underbody with a wire wheel to remove loose rust and scale. Stir the mix with a paint stick once hot and apply to the underbody of a vehicle with a paintbrush. Drive down a dusty road immediately after application if possible. There is an excellent *Mustie1* video of the process if you look around in his past videos. Thanks for excellent content, the shop is frickin nice.
Way back in 60's lived in rural area with dirt roads in Canada . Roads were covered with salt then ( and still are ) in winter . Used to heat up used motor oil put it in fertilizer spray can that was pumped to spray the oil & coated the under body of my car. Immediately after, drove on dusty road to stop oil from dripping. The enviro nuts stopped this practice along with using old oil to keep dust down on the road in front of house. There are modern day rust stop applications including " RustCheK" that are a must in Canada, even though it costs about $100 CDN annually. Had a 20 year old Malibu with virtually no rust due to RustChek undercoating.

That Marquis is gorgeous!!!! Not too many 2 doors out there, with the Vic or the Merc. I appreciate these old cars more and more every day, especially working in the parts dept at a Ford dealer, realizing no matter the brand, new vehicles are garbage!

Chris..your motorcycle lift was made in Marshalltown Iowa. not Marshmellow town...LOL. I was there a few years back when the Tornado ripped through the town.
I like the idea bench grinders on wheels but the execution scares me a bit. Not hating but that looks like disaster waiting to happen. 🤕🚑 I’d think possibly going with a wider foot print with a lot more weight down low and maybe 4 wheels in a “H” pattern where you can stand in side the “H” to do your grinding. 🤷♂️ Anywho what do I know… hope you, Jenn and Gus have an awesome New Year!
It's fine. You're not very aggressive when you use a bench grinder when using it. It's not like it's a vice or something. That thing won't fall over unless the wheel gets caught in a crack or something but he has new floors.
@@joshlepley1306bench grinders are something that are usually bolted to the floor. You push on them while cleaning rust off parts ect. A bit wider base with locking casters would probably be a bit safer. But Chris is smart and he probably already thought of it.
@kennykennedy6298 Yes, but I'm saying you don't push very hard when using a grinder or wire wheel. The wheels do the work with light pressure. My grinder is on a similar stand. Yes, Chris is smart, so if he finds it to be ok and safe, then im sure it is.

If you like hoarders, check out the museum called American Treasure Tours in Oaks, PA. Its near king of Prussia. Its a collection of old cars, mechanical music machines and a ton of other stuff.
Greetings from Cincinnati, Ohio!! Wat do you mean by 'panther platform'? Also that "northeastern coconut" is called a hedgeapple from the Osage Orange tree, nothing to do with the citrus oranges that we kno & luv. The O.O. tree has one of the highest b.t.u.s (british thermal unit) in North America. It burns longer & hotter than ur Oak, Elm or any other hard wood. Just saying...
The only difference between a hoarder and a collector is presentation.
Great work Chris.

I hope someone donates you a legendary good deal on storage space and / or shop space for fixing these vehicles / equipment / boats.
If you like hoarders, check out the museum called American Treasure Tours in Oaks, PA. Its near king of Prussia. Its a collection of old cars, mechanical music machines and a ton of other stuff.
Fellow procrastinator here with the same logic. Thanks for sharing.
Anyone else just love the sound of an air tool?
I just don't get why an air tool sounds so damn satisfy.
Ha what you called a NE coconut is a osage orange tree, they used to use them in hedgerows back in the day.
It's amazing what you can find in Morrisville, I never saw a place with so many private junkyards and abandoned businesses 😢
These boxy Panthers were the best. They rode great and were a blast to drive. That 302 always started easily.
51:01 those are hedge apples or osage orange apples! I planted one of those trees from a seed 5 years ago and it's growing like crazy!
Osage orange is the tree by the cab over, liked the video!

Yes that's true. The only thing more convenient is just driving it into the river. LOL
That Grandma marquee is sweet. That would be a killer daily driver.
