Remember to tame Phoenix on this map, it's a perfect smelter, cooker, and it will give you free silica pearls. Most players tend to skip this creature when they are on this map.
I’ve played scorched 3 times through, and only found 1 Phoenix. Every time I didn’t get one it was not for lack of searching, every heat wave I would drop what I was doing and get on my fire wyvern. The time I got one, I found it in the first 30 minutes thanks to my starting parasaur. It always feels way more RNG based than I wish it was. I doubt people are always intentionally skipping it, just sayin’.
@@Spiney09 Tame Argentavis pick up Parasaur, then fly over the map to find Phoenix ashes. When the heatwave arrives Phoenix will emerge at this location. There are few strategies how to trap him, then easily tame it with a oil and flaming arrows.
Just a shame that it's too much of a pain to tame to be worth it. I enjoyed having my first one, it was fun, but probably never taming one again, cause it simply isn't worth it.
@@bacd-nn2lg yeah, but that’s still a huge time investment, and I just don’t see it as worth it, especially knowing it’ll be a low level cause story map
Scorched is one of my favorite maps! My favorite map spot I've built here would be close to the last bar location, but closer to the spikes on top of the xp note! Water, wind, and right next to the mountain and cave me absolutely amazing base location
When your out there in the sand on a well it’s a pain but u can make metal water tanks and fill them so u have more water at once if u need more then then we’ll can give u at any given moment it just takes more time and planning
Very educational and informative, Phlinger. My base location is next to the dinosaur bones and water vein by the green obelisk. Neebs Gaming set up their battle barn there, and I took their design and built it for myself as close as I could. That's how inspirational they've been to my own playing the game.
I'm on a private server and the wind in on our map where your favorite spot to build only has 20 percent wind in the day and a hundred at night can you explain that
Well that's the last time I listen to a random youtuber on ark, set up base on one of those cool bridges and there's no resources of any important anywhere near there, great..

I really love the spot you used in season 4
I built my base at the blue ob. It's quite peaceful and I've never had a problem. On my game it's the red and green obs that are super dangerous.

100%, I always watch their super cuts and things before I go onto another map just to see what they've done lol. Love those guys.
Good Morning Phlinger and Family!
Great Video, I've set up on all of them at one time or another, except the last. I don't have a death wish LOL But great locations.
i died at this laugh 7:17
This mountain is a great place for thylas... As one wonder in the distance.
S+ / N+ You don't need water - you just put an intake into a foundation
I got my first thylo at the green tower.

What about 3 springs?
If anyone wants a cool slightly boosted server to play on I have my own server on ps4 it’s set on the island right now the server name is ICANSM311YOU
Pretty much every spot you mentioned are top raiding spots. I was hoping you had some discreet locations.
You talk too much we don't need u to write an essay on each location
