Ruth Warrick aged beautifully and I honestly find her even more striking in her later years. Wonderful to see her in Citizen Kane but have loved her in AMC.
Such an entertaining actress. Warrick has such presence. However, she was the matriarch; she was not the diva, vixen She was the Ms. Ellie or maybe Angela Channing but Phoebe/Ruth was no Alexis/Abby that was Erica Kane.
Ruth warrick loooooved the spot light..in her glory here...but as many will attest...beverley mckenzie et al...she was terribly over bearing to get attention...even escorted from events for trying to overshadow the feqtured guest....not hard to see from here lol
