These were the days before VCR taping at home, I wanted to stay home from school so badly to see Cliff and Nina's wedding. Nope..I had to go to school. My mom taped the dialogue for me. Hard to believe how times have changed...
The Actress who played Sybil caught alot of "flak" from diehard fans. Today she is a professor at UCLA which was the Alma Mater of The Late Michael Zaslow (1942-1998).
When there is a UK Soap Wedding, it doesn't have The Glamour that US Soap Weddings do. The folks are Blue Collar. Yet they admit that doing Weddings is very frustrating because you have to sometimes do overtime. Daran Little who wrote for All My Children & The Young & The Restless also wrote for Coronation Street. He now writes for Eastenders.
Who is the Flower Girl and while I know that Daisy and Brooke were her Bridesmaids who was the other Lady. The Actress who played Sybil was such a whiny bitch but you knew she was a great actress if you hated her.

Matthew Bomer was in the 2020 Version as Donald who played Ian Kipling then Ben Reade on Guiding Light. Tuc Watkins played Henry aka "Hank" and the 1970 Version had Lawrence Luckinbill play Hank who was on Search For Tomorrow. He is a distant relative of Thad Luckinbill (Ex JT Y & R).

I just realized that Peter Bergman was a very lucky guy. He's been doing soaps non stop since 1979. Then Brooke English & Dr. Charles "Chuck" Tyler were in the wedding party and our cousins. On Eastenders (A UK Soap) I had no idea that Bianca Jackson & Sonia Fowler were Family.
I remember watching this when I was a kid. I thought Nina was so beautiful. Their wedding was like a fairy tale! It has stuck with me all these years.
The couple who holds the AMC record of 4 weddings:) I loved their romance even if a kid at the time. Thanks for posting.

Cliff/Nina deserved this fairy tale wedding!

Definitely one of the prettiest weddings!

@TypesALot
Yeah, heard to believe this was 30 years ago! Lol!! I remember this like it was yesterday.
I felt sorry for palmer. I know that was hard for him to say those words.
You have no idea what it took for Palmer to utter those words.!!

And the Glory of Cortlandt manor
I think Dr. Frank Grant was the only African American Guest at The Wedding. His Nephew By Marriage was none other than Jesse Hubbard.
Laminage: Frank Grant was so handsome.

Correction: I meant hard not "heard" lol!!
It is coo!😁
why is Palmer in a wheelchair
He probably had a heart attack...or faked one, to try to keep Nina from getting married.
