I know the Erica/Brooke scenes were the highlight..but Ruth and Joe meeting their grandson for the first time...ohmygod I'm bawling.
I'm so glad Brooke had Tad's son. The Tad/Brooke story was my favorite. Brooke knew better than to fall in love with Tad, but she did anyway..and yeah, Tad went back to Dixie...but Jamie was proof that Tad and Brooke mattered.
Damn...I miss my show...
I never liked Dixie, and hated the fact they paired her up with Tad and foisted that couple on us for so many years. Dixie was so insipid whereas Tad had sparkle.

Erica was right ! Tom did become a doormat for Brooke and Barbara. Brooke was never forgiving of Tom 's mistakes but she sure forgave Adam's and Tad's.
Well, Tom married the woman who was supposed to be caring for Laura. As I recall, Barbara was working & left the little girl alone & she was hit by a drunk driver & killed. It probably didn’t help that Tom was a recovering alcoholic
Yeah he married Barbara who had an affair wit Travis her ex husband while married to Erica she then started to c Tom n their relationship she found out she was pregnant by Travis and Tom excepted it help her raise Molly baby got sick needed a bone marrow to save Molly she went off slept wit Travis against got pregnant to save Molly that resulted n her and Tom's divorce them Tom married Olivia da black lady and never to b seen again

I liked Brooke. I started watchin AMC around Oct 1991. The only time I despised Brooke was in 2001 when she helped her daughter Laura to keep Leo away from Greenlee.
I’m almost 37 and I’ve watched AMC all my life and Greenlee in my opinion is the best character to ever come out of that show. She made it so enjoyable! Her and Leo were the best couple next to Angie and Jesse!

Erica didn’t know Joe and Ruth all of her life. Mona and Erica moved to PV roughly in 1969. When Mona died in 1994 Joe mentioned at Mona’s funeral that he met Mona in 1970 (but when Mona flashbacked to Erica’s rape, she mentioned sending Erica out of town during her pregnancy. AMC premiered in January 1970, so Erica would have had to have been raped in the Spring of 1969). Erica’s first appearance was actually on One Life to Live in 1969. Lucci was an uncredited background player in 1969 at Meredith Wolek’s birthday party. Since they share a universe and Agnes Nixon wrote both shows, AN said that, unofficially, that was Erica. PV and Llanview are located right next to each other, so it’s not far fetched.

They grew up as half brothers because they lived with Tad and Dixie for some time.

It was great storytelling, i.e. Dixie/Adam/Brooke in 1989 and between Brooke/Tad/Dixie in 1990. You missed awesome stuff.

People should watch old episodes of as the world turns from the 80s when ever you had barbara and Margo ( mainly when actress Hillary Bailey Smith) was playing her. When ever you had Colleen and Hilary together in scenes you knew you were going to be entertained the same thing when ever Colleen had scenes with Melanie Smith. As Emily. The same exact. Thing when you had. Actresses. Anna Stuart as Donna. And Nancy frangione. As. Cecile. On another world I used to always rush home from school. Just to see. And watch. Cecile and Donna. Go at it . And of course I was entertained. When ever. Jill aka. Brenda Dickson. And Kathrine. Actress Jeanne. Cooper had rival scenes on the young and the restless. Those were true entertainment. As well as the India. Vs Alexandra. Scenes on guiding light. Or reva vs Sally. Gleason scenes also on GL. But. Erica vs brook. I agree, I never cared for Brooke. She was kind of a tramp like Dixie. I mean she lied about who was the father of her child.
There were extenuating circumstances about that lie. She didn't do it to be deceitful or otherwise hurt others

The women always aeem more real , in each others business and really invested in the outfits abd jewellery .Whereas the men are more like side props for the main character protagonists . Im this series Erica and Brooke
