That is a fun hunt with the 540, The 540 has never disappointed me on any hunt I take it out to swing. It might love bottle caps but it smacks on silver rings. Thanks for the entertainment. Happy Hunting .Peace

For the price, the 540 is a solid detector. I have an upcoming video where I hunt with a first timer using it. He learned very quickly!
