Recently bought a new Equinox 800 w/wireless headphones. Spent a couple of hours on TH-cam learning fom your videos to be more efficent and successfull in my adventures. I have wanted a metal detector when I would see the ads in coin magazines when I was 8 yrs old as an apprentice coin collector from my Grandmother. Now 57yrs old, Retired, Veteran, time and desire...Thank You so much for your videos.
I was the same way as I was influenced by the old magazine ads about Metal Detectors as a kid. I really appreciate you watching the videos and for your kind comments! Wishing you all the luck!
Excellent video with lots of info for everyone Mark. A big mistake I see lots of people make is not overlapping your swings. You can watch this with so many youtube guys too. They take a swing and move up two feet and swing back. In the meantime, they just missed a huge triangle of ground. That's probably another reason no place is ever really hunted out. People walk in a hurry and miss so much stuff.
That's a great observation Michael and I totally agree. When I go to the big detecting events around the USA I see this with many people coming up to meet me and introducing themselves as fellow TH-camrs with detecting channels. I am absolutely shocked to see even those individuals have a horrible swing pattern or technique. It is very common as is the speed at which they swing being too fast. I can always slow down in an area where I feel I have hundred it out and find something else even in my own ground I've already swung over. I'm planning on doing a part two to this video so this will definitely be talked about! Thank you for the view and comment!! 😁
I've been detecting for 15 years, forests, fields, and beaches. All the pieces of advice given in the video are top notch. Here are the ones I give when anyone asks me. 1) NEVER DESPAIR. Some walk-out are... boring. 2) Swing your coil parallel to the ground. 3) Know perfectly your machine. That mean read the manual, chat on forums, make your own tests. 4) Get a second pack of CHARGED batteries. 5 Never do anything illegal (respect private property, report found guns, stolen items, hidden drug stashes or human remains) or dangerous (never ever fiddle with some unexploded ordinance or funky chemical containers). Be prepared, all this will happen. To you. 6) NEVER DESPAIR.
You bring up some great points and tips too! Wish I would have talked about the coil while swinging because that is a common mistake not only with beginners but experienced as well. I see this all the time at big hunts where a person walks up to talk to me and we chat about what type of detecting they do, how long they have been detecting and what machines they use. Often times I find out they are a TH-cam content creator too, then I am blown away to see them lifting the coil at the end of their swings. Or how much ground they miss when they walk while swinging, etc. I am going to do another video soon on just gear where I will use your suggestion about bringing extra charged batteries (when applicable, as some of the New machines are only rechargeable). What machine do you use now? Thank you for the view, great suggestions and comment!
Wow, that's quite a statement, very encouraging for me to read that! I sincerely appreciate the view and for you taking the time to leave this awesome comment!
Another great video with excellent tips and content. My 3 major take aways were; 1)The spiral outwards technique 2)Sensitivity to high before noise cancel 3) liability / permission combo form. Always looking forward to your vids. Thanks again from CA Gold Country.
Beginner who just purchased a Nox 900. What an awesome video. This information is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for your time and sharing your knowledge. Be safe.
Yes that's kind of fun too. You really see them get a little excited when they get to think back about the days when they would go to places like that to have fun and socialize. Thank you for the view and comment!
Very very good information thank you so much... I just retired and bought a minelab 900 and am learning so much from your video I watched the one showing how to do all the settings that is solid gold ..
Thank you once again for taking the time to leave a comment after watching the video. It is a fantastic machine and you will do very well with it. The best thing about it is you will find quality items which will keep you motivated and interested in the hobby since the machine is so capable.
Thanks for a great video but you say it's important to choose the right order. First sensitivity, noise cancel and last ground balance. Is it the same method for the Manticore.
Yes it's really the exact same sequence of events for any machine because of the reasons I said in the video which are you want your sensitivity where it needs to be first so it can hear all the Emi and the ground clearly. I hope this makes sense but it does apply to all machines. Thank you for the view and for your comment slash question!
Great tips I found the section on permissions very interesting you brought up a few points I had not even considered. The insurance was an eye opener for me. Thank you great tip Cheers.
wow thanks i learned alot from your video,i own an equinox 800 and an exterra pro so i have a back up for a friend,i was that guy that traveled away from the hot zone my 1st year, looking forward to more of your vidios
I do teach hands-on detecting classes for many different machines. I am in Northern California about 25 miles East of Sacramento. Thank you for the view and comment/question!
Good stuff, years ago I dabbled in detecting with a Radio Shack kit machine, now I'm seriously considering getting back into it, looking at an Xterra pro as a new starter detector. Super advice, Thanks!
That X-Terra Pro is incredible to say the least. It's hard to believe we actually have a machine that nice at that price! You won't get discouraged and yiu should find lots of quality items. See if you can find a detecting club near you and consider joining! Thank you for the view and comment.
@@minelabdiggerNot True if you just lower the Sensitivity down until you get to know what it's trying to tell you about the target and I have started with 12 Sensitivity and I was surprised that it was hitting Target's in the 6-8 inches deep range just in the Sensitivity of 12 and the Coins will really sound off and then the jumpy VDI is telling me about the Junkyard of Target's and I know that it's going to be a junk Signal and Not a Coin whenever it jumps and I have dug a few up just to make sure it was and Now that I know that , it's going great and I have since raised the sensitivity up to 18 and I know the Tone's and Numbers to look for and hear and the X-Terra Pro is more than enough features of a Top End Detector and I ❤❤❤❤.... it. Edit : And also don't go off of what other people say until you get the X-Terra Pro in your own hands then and only then you will know what the X-Terra Pro is all about and it's a Coin Shooters Dream Detector and I have it in my own hands and I have also traded the Simplex + off for a Equinox 600 and it's going great and it's Minelab Detector's All the Time ❤.....
And also the Sensitivity is going to be Site Dependent on how Deep you want to Dig and Hear the Coin Targets and if you only want to Dig Relics and the X-Terra Pro Jumpy VDI is the best decision that you are going to Make and I'm a New Minelab Detector owner that now knows that I shouldn't of waited for so long to get a Minelab Detector and Then once you learn it, it's WoW 😲😳😮.❤..
Some of your suggestions I hadn't considered, thank you for those. Here's something in thanks I'll share with you & everyone reading: I sometimes I need to not miss any area within a given space (for example; looking for someone's lost wedding ring in their back yard, or where they were at a park). to do so & when feasible, I utilize two 300' long fiberglass tape rulers (Komelon 6633 Open Reel Fiberglass Tape Measure) I lay one on one side of the grid & the other 90 degrees at the base/corner. The fiberglass doesn't detect, and I walk along the one tape swinging to the end. Then I move that tape's end to as far as I swing and pin the end at that point. I return to the beginning, moving the tape over that same amount. I walk & swing so my swing reaches the tape and again walk to the end. Rinse, wash, repeat. One tape is really all that's needed for this, but I find using the two makes it easier to cover the grid. Yes, a lot of work but by doing so I cover 100% of that ground I've marked out and I know if that ring is there, I'll for sure find it.
Thank you for this great tip it is very helpful as I know a lot of people will find themselves looking for Rings at some point if they own a metal detector. Thank you also for the view and for taking the time to leave a comment!
Good to hear that this technique work for you. It really is a smart and efficient way to detect when trying to find sites. Thank you for watching the video and for taking the time to leave a kind comment!
You talk about liability insurance. Specifically, what type of policy should I try to get from my insurer? Very well constructed video with much useful information. Great job!
Yes, I just called my insurance agency and told them what I was doing and I remember him saying it was the same liability insurance that they would give a independent contractor I know it's about $29 a month is what it cost me but I will try to find out more about it if you need me to. Keep in mind I'm in California so I don't know if your insurance might be less or more than that? I have a $1,000,000 policy with a $2,000,000 umbrella. Thank you for watching the video and for your great question. Happy New Years too!
It's good to see a comment saying "My time was well spent". That's exactly what I'm thinking when I make these videos and when editing. Trying to pack in all info in as short a time as possible. Thank you for the view and encouraging comment!
You should buy a pinpointer so you can use it to find the metallic object in the whole or dug dirt. For a long time, we didn't have pinpointers on the market and we used a Brass rod with a rounded end on a screwdriver handle to probe the ground for the object before we dug down. But with today's modern technology you would save lots of time if you got one to use when recovering targets. Thank you for the view and comment!
@@BrassMedicOh.... that's an interesting tip! I do not have a metal detector, as I've said in another comment. However - I would not have thought to use the pointer like this - although, perhaps, if I had been doing detecting, I would have figured this out, over time! Haaa - every day's a school day!!!❤😂❤ Thanks for your video - and many of the comments are, also informative!
Thanks for the Video. I learned how to create a custom ferrous limit program. can i copy custom 1 to custom 2 as a starting point, or do i always have to begin with preset ferrous limit when copying to custom 1,2,3, or 4.
May I ask which machine you're using? Others reading this combat may not understand what machine you're talking about. Thank you for watching the video and for your comment!
Wow, no one has ever told me the reasons for size difference of coil before.... That the length directly correlates to the depth. Perhaps its obvious, but had no idea 😅
Well thank you for watching the video and for taking the time to leave a comment this is exactly why I make these videos hoping that I can find some new hobbyists to help out. Wishing you all the best luck!
Thanks for the video. I wanted an idea on how to mark out a coin garden. So, I watch this guy on FB and he uses the manticore and leaves the ground balance on 0. He is over in Europe and is a minelab detexpert. He has a lot of good tips but I’m unsure on this one. What is your opinion? Oh and tip #1 is me. I will work on staying in the hot zone.
The person using 0 for GB may have neutral soil, it is mostly un-necessary to use any GB in neutral soil or at a sandy beach for example. It is the soil where mineralization, hematite, alkalai-salts, etc are causing the machine to false on the soil itself where GB becomes useful. A good GB before detecting in difficult ground is a good idea. I don't however recommend using tracking if you don't need to as it can adversely affect performance. If you need to use tracking, get a good fresh manual GB first before you turn it on. Some areas of the world GB at 0 is perfectly fine! Just not here 🤠 thank you for the view and your great question!
Thanks. Some good tips. Thinking about getting into the Sport. considering exterral pro. Wanted to know about coils. Setting sensitivity up high before you Do noise canceling.. Hadn't come across that point yet.. I know opinions very. But what's the most beneficial tools to have with you.? Or just all of them. L o l.
The X-Terra Pro is a fantastic machine! You should watch both my unboxing, assembly, set up, settings and review video as well as my field tips and tricks video on the X-Terra Pro. As far as coils go, you can use any of the coils made for the Equinox 800/900/600/700 so lots of great options. As far as tools goes, you will need a good pinpointer, a small digging trowel, a finds pouch for both good finds and trash, knee pads and gloves. Those are the mandatory tools you will need. Thanks for watching the video and for your comment/questions!
Great vid Mate. I am looking to buy my first metal detector that I want to use for gold prospecting and treasure hunting. I have the opportunity to buy an X-Terra 705 for $169 or a Vanquish 440 for $349 here locally. Wat are your thoughts on that for a first detector? Regards, Jas.
If your priority is finding gold nuggets over coins and Relics you're going to want a machine that has a high operating frequency. The 705 Gold pack was pretty good for gold nuggets. I don't recommend the Vanquish 540 as a primary for gold nuggets but it would be fantastic for coins and Relics. If you could afford to get into the budget bracket of the gold Monster 1000, maybe even look at a used one. That is the best thing for the bucket you can get for gold nuggets but it is primarily good for gold prospecting and doesn't have a lot of features for relics and coins it's a very simple machine but will pay for itself many times over if you get into a good patch of gold. For best just all around detector The Equinox 900 and the Manticore are fantastic for gold and Relics and coins. Even consider getting an used Equinox 800. Thank you for the view and for your question and comment!
LOL - Looks like a very serious expenditure, over time, since you, and possibly many other people (Note the line up of various detector models in your background!❤) have several models for various purposes! (It's like having several camera lenses and/ or cameras!)
All you really need is one good detector and to have learned how to set it up and especially, to learn the tones. It's a fun hobby that mixes adventure, exercise and finding treasures! Thank you for the view and comment!
At the right location (like maybe a common prospecting club), someone could make a few bucks making one of those gardens for others to use regularly. Like 3 pennies, one at 2", 4" and 6" all labeled. Same with each currency. Also rings, chains, buttons, buckles, etc. Add with it all the common trash found at varying depths. Maybe even a prospecting store can make one out back for potential and present buyers of equipment. Can make it as elaborate as you want really.... BTW, thanks for the video :)
This is a great Point actually and I would have never thought to do that. I know my local dealer who has a hardware store has so much crazy Emi inside and outside of his building that we wouldn't be able to do it there. But that is a fantastic idea to do it for a club or maybe someone's property or house where they can invite others. Thank you for the view, the comment and for your great idea!
Your content is superb - thank you!I've been learning metal detecting with an Equinox for the past two years. Don't know anyone else in the hobby so I always go solo. Thank goodness for TH-cam detecting videos like yours. Keep up the great work, it's much appreciated. Cheers from Chico in sunny northern California 👍
The Equinox is an excellent machine to learn on. Lots of history up your way. One of these days I will try to get up North to look around a bit. So much local history here it's tough to drive out of the area to go somewhere further away! 🤠 Thank you for the view and comment! You can always email me at the email address in the description of all of my videos.
Thank you so much for this very kind comment. I do own just about every modern metal detector made. I use them all to test them and compare them frequently. I do not have any tips videos for XP Deus II because I am a representative as a Detexpert at Minelab. The Deus II is a fantastic machine and one of the best in the world no doubt. There are so many other content creators making good instructional videos on that machine that I don't feel the need to make those videos even if I could. Thank you again for watching the video and for taking the time to leave such a kind comment!
I have a nox 800 and i'm so guilty of not learning how to do proper set up. Im double guilty because i've watched A lot of your videos at least 2 times on the 800 set up and the 777 video as well.🤨
Next time you watch one of those videos just have the machine in your lap and follow along on settings. I do this all the time where I watch complicated videos on video editing software but I'm not at the computer to follow all the steps, makes it tough, forces me to watch it over and over. Thank you for the view and comment!!
I'm surprised you didn't mention overlapping your swing while talking about swing speed. Of all the videos I've watched, it is by far the worst habit I see. People swinging while walking, missing huge swathes as they go. This is why some places will never be hunted out. I was at a club hunt one time and a group was walking up a slope detecting. One fellow was behind them maybe 10 paces or so and ended up finding a gold coin the others walked right over. You may think you're covering a lot of ground, and you are from point A to point B, but you cover every bit as much overlapping your swing. You just may not get to point B with everything you dig.
This is a fantastic tip and I absolutely should have mentioned this as it is a common mistake I see, even with some who consider themselves experienced detectorists! I can see when someone is out in the open areas trying to cover ground to find iron or a site, but once in the hot zone or in a park or beach for example each swing should overlap to make sure your not missing something. This is the real difference of a pro and amateur. I nerd to make a follow up video on this topic! Thank you for the view and fantastic comment! Happy hunting! 🤠
Number one mistake i see is people relying on what to dig based on numbers. Going by numbers is a huge mistake but no one has ever seemed to address it.
It's just another tool in my toolbox, I honestly use all info available to make a dig no dig decision but first and foremost is tone and trusting my ears. I am never "watching numbers" but rather glancing at them after I have heard a signal that passes my sound test first. You bring up a valid point! Thank you for your view and comment!
Awesome Vidio!! But great ID on a detector is an awesome weapon to have. Tones are awesome to. But if you are relying on tones only you will be digging ALOT more iron than you want. especially on a site where you only have one shot on the site.
I may never buy a metal detector - "just looking" out of curiosity! But, I can see that with most worthwhile endeavors - "doing and learning = experience" is key! An interesting point about discerning the tones of the detector - not relying on "the numbers, primarily"; hence avoiding a lot of needless work of digging for very "little value".
Thank yiu for the view and comment! You can always send me an email at the email address in the description so we can chat about it! I am in the area of El Dorado Hills - Rescue. Thanks, again!
Investigating different youtube People.. I'll see if you do reviews or setups on certain machines. because I'm considering the Xterra pro.. It seems to be within my budget For getting into it now. Rather than stick with the $100 machine realm. I'm learning about it little by little before I probably get it.
I do have many other videos on other machines. But to be honest this machine is currently the best bang for the buck in the industry. Thanks for the view and comment!
You are a quality individual and i'm surprised you live in California. I grew up there when i was younger in the 70's and 80's before crime, homelessness drugs and now criminals walking the streets attacking people became the norm. It's sad what happened to the state after just a decade of the wrong people mismanaging things. Anyway, i live safely in Maine, where we find relics from the 18th century often, and breathe fresh air. No poisonous snakes etc also. Anyway, are you totally serious about your thing if you find say a 20 dollar gold piece your going to just hand it over to the land owner? You have already done all these other things, made sure you are respectful have permission etc. I do the same as far as asking for permission have never found a gold piece but have found gold rings etc. I learned early on if the owner seems either too interested in having things i find or is greedy, I bring along a couple indian head cents worth about a dollar or two, i call them decoys lol. Anyway, i consider myself honest and decent but don't think i would go to the extremes you do. You mentioned leaving the land as good or better but what about making sure you are skillful with your plugs, using a knife or small tool rather than guys ive seen lugging spades. Anyway, nice info. Cheers! tom in maine.
I really wish I would have talked about digging holes, plugs and how to fill them in. Very important issue to land owners. As far as your question about the gold coin I have not been tested to that extent yet. However I did find a beautiful gold ring in one of my videos dating back to the California Gold Rush in a Chinese camp. I did show it to the landowner and I was very nervous that he would keep it but luckily he told me that I could keep it. It now resides on the top shelf of my display cabinet. But I did say in the video here that I do sleep good at night knowing that I'm honest and that I have been so fortunate over the years with the finest that I've made that I don't want to tempt The Relic Gods by being dishonest. In other words if I dig something incredible on private property and the landowner wants to keep it it is offset by all the other incredible things I found over the years. This is just my experience on the way that I look at it. It just so happens that living in California and the Gold Country I am in the mecca of where all of this incredible gold and Relics and coins are being found. If it wasn't for that I don't know that I would stay in this state. I have lived here my whole life and I have witnessed exactly what you said and it has been very sad. I am fortunate that I live in a very nice area of the state though that is probably a lot like where you are, small town America and minimal crime. Thank you for your view and comment!
It's like the old saying that bad luck is just missed opportunity. But at sometimes I have no other way to explain the success I've had over the years other than to say that it's 99% skill and 99% luck. Thank you for the view and for taking the time to leave a comment!
I have been very lucky with treasure hunting and metal detecting for the last 35 plus years. But I understand how some people can get frustrated. The bottom line is is if you want to find incredible things you need to be the first metal detector at a site! Bottom line. Thank you for your view and comment!
Which part mate? Are you talking about permissions? If so, I have no experience with it but I can see your point from things I've heard. Thank you for watching the video and for your comment, much appreciated!
Yeah.. productivity. Now you talking job. into the for.. fun crowd... nice if luck strikes. Otherwise great cardio vitamins B and back to work Monday. Like playing $5 or $10 in lottery. Great efforts if a full time job ... Good luck
This that's so true period but it also has a lot to do with the quality of the site that you're detecting because if it has good research history and you're the first machine in there you're going to do good. But if you're going to old beat up sites or taking a chance on site you're not sure about could be a whole different story. Thank you for the view and comment!
I hear you on that and I have not been tested with finding something super valuable on private property but I would like to think I would still show the landowner. Thank you for your view and comment!
This is no bull shit best places to hunt highways back in the old days it was horse cart road works were road is ripped up or bridges 100meters either side my town did a west trip 350km stop turn around stop front of 4x4 50 meter sweep front 100meters and back to 4x4 shake dice 8 came up so next sweep back towards home =80km stop do the same sweep.
We do very well with old wagon roads here too. There were 3 different roads here all next to each other. The main freighter roads were for teamsters with freight wagons being pulled by multiple ox, miles or horses. Those roads were heavily rutted and bumpy and dusty. Only slow moving teams and wagons were allowed. The middle road was for horse drawn buggies, wagons and stage coaches, this road was more smooth and wide. The smallest road was for foot traffic and horseback riders only. The roads here in the 1848-1865 era were very busy in what is now California. They had to divide the roads into 3 parts so everyone would have room. These old roads are full of horseshoes, wagon and stage coach parts including jingle bells, crotal bells and horse rack of all kinds. An occasional coin or relic too. Thanks for the view and comment!
Nice see here in Australia 🇦🇺 now yaks or hobies sand flats and there a massive chunk of landscapes should see the gold that comes from that when ya think about it ya only need 500mm of water on the flats heaps of area can be covered fast.this sport will over take the fishing I bet lol. Cheers stay safe good hunting.
I'm not sure which spot you're talking about? Obviously anything privately owned yes you would have to have permission on. Thank you for your view and for your comment!
You can always email me at the email listed in the description of all of my videos to send me information about what you're looking for. Thank you for the view and for your comment!
I would like to finish your video, but you take too long. You talk too much get to the point. I don’t have time to waste on listening to your voice take this as constructive criticism.

Beginner who just purchased a Nox 900. What an awesome video. This information is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for your time and sharing your knowledge. Be safe.
Thank you sincerely for the view and very kind comment!
Great tips!.. Thank You!.. I especially like the one of asking the older folks where they had swam or had family and public gatherings.
Yes that's kind of fun too. You really see them get a little excited when they get to think back about the days when they would go to places like that to have fun and socialize. Thank you for the view and comment!

From what I have seen It's a great machine, just don't count on the tid numbers. With that machine you dig it all.
Here's something in thanks I'll share with you & everyone reading:
I sometimes I need to not miss any area within a given space (for example; looking for someone's lost wedding ring in their back yard, or where they were at a park). to do so & when feasible, I utilize two 300' long fiberglass tape rulers (Komelon 6633 Open Reel Fiberglass Tape Measure) I lay one on one side of the grid & the other 90 degrees at the base/corner.
Good morning I went recently to detect and i did the spiral technic ITS awsome
Thank you for this tips
Top notch content. Good advice and information for both seasoned expert and beginning novice. Well thought out, Kudos, my time was well spent. Thanks.
It's good to see a comment saying "My time was well spent". That's exactly what I'm thinking when I make these videos and when editing. Trying to pack in all info in as short a time as possible. Thank you for the view and encouraging comment!
You have just given me a reason to get started. Great Tips.
I hope you have got into the hobby and that your having luck. Thank you for your view and comment!
Excellent video Mark!! Thanks for the great advice on all of it but especially the permissions!!
Thank you as well for checking it out and taking the time to leave a comment!!
Thanks for posting this...its a very useful tutorial!

Great video so much knowledge and insight. Thanks man for taking the time.
Your welcome, very thankful for your comment and thank you for watching!
I have trouble digging when i got pint point signal. Where to dig, under the coil?
You should buy a pinpointer so you can use it to find the metallic object in the whole or dug dirt. For a long time, we didn't have pinpointers on the market and we used a Brass rod with a rounded end on a screwdriver handle to probe the ground for the object before we dug down. But with today's modern technology you would save lots of time if you got one to use when recovering targets. Thank you for the view and comment!
I have the pin pointer Sir, i just wasting alot of time, timing the first dig under the coil. Thanks for fast reply
@@BrassMedicOh.... that's an interesting tip! I do not have a metal detector, as I've said in another comment. However - I would not have thought to use the pointer like this - although, perhaps, if I had been doing detecting, I would have figured this out, over time!
Haaa - every day's a school day!!!❤😂❤
Thanks for your video - and many of the comments are, also informative!
Another fantastic informative video. Always fun watching your videos. Thanks for all you do. Look forward to more videos.
As always, really appreciate your friendship and viewing the videos. Thank you!

Question. Do u ever fully submerge entire metal detector. I have xterra pro. Was thinking bout going in up.to.chest
Some metal detectors are fully waterproof including the X-Terra Pro. So yes by all means, do so. Thank you for your view and comment/question!
Wow, no one has ever told me the reasons for size difference of coil before.... That the length directly correlates to the depth. Perhaps its obvious, but had no idea 😅
Thank you for the view and comment!!
Mark, Do you have a link to the liability/permission combo form that you use? Thanks for a great video.
Can you email me at the email address in all if my videos and ask there? I can email it to you. Thanks for the view and comment!
Great tips and videos, as always. Thanks a lot. Big kudos 👏
Thank you kindly for the view and inspiring comment!
New to detecting. Great info Ty
Well thank you for watching the video and for taking the time to leave a comment this is exactly why I make these videos hoping that I can find some new hobbyists to help out. Wishing you all the best luck!

Yet another very informative video! Thank you!!
Thank you for watching the video and for your kind words!
Well done Mark, very thorough.
Thank you Scott!! Much appreciated!
Great great video. Thanks alot from Denmark Europe
Thank you so much for watching and checking in from Denmark!! 🙏
Google earth use to have a history bar where you can select what year wanted to see what that aerial picture of that area use to look like.
Mine still does have a historical images option. Going back to 1997.
Fantastic information

You aré a pro thank you for your tips dont you have xp deus2 tips thanks in Advanced Best regards from México Querétaro
Thank you for the view and comment!!

great video..awesome ideas
Thank you for the view and for leaving a comment!
Lol😂that's why I go off sound not numbers meater
great beginner video

Luck can be substituted for persistence and patience
It's like the old saying that bad luck is just missed opportunity. But at sometimes I have no other way to explain the success I've had over the years other than to say that it's 99% skill and 99% luck. Thank you for the view and for taking the time to leave a comment!
Hey Vern??. My number one mistake? Buying a very expensive metal detector...😂
😂😂😂
Are they really any better? I see such a range of prices - and the paraphernalia, which goes along with this endeavor!
I have been very lucky with treasure hunting and metal detecting for the last 35 plus years. But I understand how some people can get frustrated. The bottom line is is if you want to find incredible things you need to be the first metal detector at a site! Bottom line. Thank you for your view and comment!
Try that in the UK...... impossible
Which part mate? Are you talking about permissions? If so, I have no experience with it but I can see your point from things I've heard. Thank you for watching the video and for your comment, much appreciated!

This that's so true period but it also has a lot to do with the quality of the site that you're detecting because if it has good research history and you're the first machine in there you're going to do good. But if you're going to old beat up sites or taking a chance on site you're not sure about could be a whole different story. Thank you for the view and comment!

Well if it’s a can of gold or silver coins sorry dude I’m keeping it!
Ps in 500meters of ground covered not a beaver or a bit of slaw or a pull tab.
