  • We get asked all the time by Amazon sellers if we will review their products. Most of the time we either ignore them or say "No." For some reason, we were interested in reviewing this Silvel 21V Brushless Impact Wrench. They claim that it has 370 ft-lbs of torque, so we'll be sure to test this.

      I've been wrenching for over 20 years now and I can attest that snap-on is trash! Only thing they produced that's worth a s*** is their scan tools.

    You cant go to Lowe's, homedepot or harbor Frieght and get a complete set for $89 bucks. These retailers no longer sell inpact tools with batteries or chargers. Everything is sold separately. Unless ur picking up a drill and thats not an impact tool. Thx good vid 👍

    I just bought an Anancyi Brushless Cordless Impact Wrench with 850Nm of torque (640ft-lbs) Still in the post as we speak. Guys, there are so many different brand names out there....Silvel, SeeSii, Anancyi, Einhell, Ryobi, Uaoaii, Taliyah....the list is longer than I prepared to type. I reckon they are pretty much all the same...all Made In China probably in the same quarter.

One of the guys in the shop is on his 3rd battery in less than a year and at $205-300 for a battery from snap on they can keep it .

    • @johnh7058
      @johnh7058 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kevinfrye1822 High priced batteries is an issue with brand name tools. If you do buy a generic impact the Makita clone impacts are easy to get replacement batteries for and at low cost. This 'Silvel" impact only comes with one battery and I don't see where spares are available.

    • @kevinfrye1822

      @@johnh7058 I wouldn't buy one anyways I'm being sarcastic about snap on and wouldn't tell anyone to buy a snap on cordless impact after owning nothing but snap on cordless tools for over the last 20 years from the boom in cordless impacts along with having 15 snap on cordless impacts from the latest to the greatest that are just now sitting in a box because they don't hold a Candle in the Wind to a Milwaukee . My biggest gripe about every snap on cordless tool is i would like it to last more then a year or not have to send it in for warranty every 3 to 6 months . I have the same gripe about there torque wrench it's one of the best and user friendly ones on the market but what good does it do when it shut off during a torque cycle because of a bad battery connection due to poor design for the battery cap. I wish I would have bought Milwaukee sooner unlike Snap-on their battery platform has not changed in the last 10 years . Ive dropped my Milwaukee off the lift from a ladder by accident I dropped it in antifreeze drain pan in water used it in the rain and it continues to work I drop that damn snap-on impact gun one time had send it in for warranty like I said I'm not impressed.
